If I had a way to rate zero stars I would do it with more pleasure. they deserve this star only for the beautiful nature. I was very dissatisfied with this restaurant. It is completely zero from the professional side .. very bad hygiene, very dirty toilets .., dishes, glasses, etc .. The staff is very clumsy, I wait 1 hour and a half, the order barely arrived. Finally came the famous food we had been waiting for so long, from the little baby goat meat I ordered became an old goat on the way from the kitchen to our table ... !! it was so high quality that when we left we all got sick, from the famous meat of this restaurant. I share this experience with you and I suggest you to think carefully before sitting down at this restaurant because you will be disappointed .. they are very low level professionally, they are cheaters, another food order another to serve at the table.never ever going again in this place.

The one star is for the location (by the Vjosa river) and the view. Our waiter was very fast, smooth talker and delivered some quite funny punch lines. But the food, especially the meat was terrible! They say the meat is baked in "saç" which is supposed to slow cook the meat, making it very soft and juicy. But instead the meat was like rushed in the oven, dry and very hard to chew. I was looking forward to eating in this restaurant but was very disappointed.

Absolutely loved this place. Apart from the amasing scenery by the river and in the middle of the mountains the food was excellent. I suggest it to anyone who wishes to taste true albanian traditional cuisine. I recommend the lamb or buckling meat and the cheese and yogurt sauce - I felt like my mum had cooked them.

Sajmola is a restaurant on the bank of river Vjosa. The road is great and there is free parking. The scenery is amazing. The food is really good and really fresh. Everything from the meat to the vegetables and dairy etc. Prices are very affordable all year round. You can fill a water jug or a bottle from the spring inside the restaurant which makes for a really unique experience. Some downsides are that calling ahead usually doesn’t work. If you call the number they will either say they are full or say that they have reserved your table and when you get there they haven’t saved one for you. This is only for the tables right near the bank that have the best view but there are other tables inside the restaurant so take your chances. Service can be slow, taking your order, delivering food etc. Would still recommend because of the food and scenery but be prepared for minor setbacks.

I wouldn't know whether the food was good or not, because I never had to chance to try it. We came on a Thursday around 2pm. The place was extremely busy. I understand that during a busy day the service is slower, however, the service was unacceptable. We had to walk around for around 10 minutes until we finally got assigned to a table. Then nobody came to give us a menu, we had to wait 30 minutes. After i got fed up, I chased down the waiter and asked him to give me a menu. Then when we finally got the chance to give our order, the waiting time was 1 hour! Not only for meat, but also for water or a dhallë. We decided to leave afterwards. It's understandable if a restaurant is busy, orders will go slower. But not like this. This was terrible. Only 5 waiters working for this extremely full restaurant. If you decide to have such a giant restaurant, you should make sure the kitchen and staff can handle it.

Great setting, healthy portions, prices a little high (I was charged 1700 for the plate pictured below). The “garnitur” was tasty but the chicken, though plentiful, was bland.

Nice place directly at the river, delicious food and 1A view to the water. Drinkable spring directly at the place, perfect for filling up drinking bottles.... Recommendable!

We called for a reservation and he just finished the call with a ‘I don’t have time bye’ while we were in mid sentence. Called him back and he said ‘what to do first? To talk to you or to have an eye on the grill?’ Naver had an experience like this.

Food and service were excellent. Really well priced for the food and ambiance. Views and being right on the river can’t be beat. Try the yogurt, the pork (gici), the peppers, the river fish… everything delicious.

Very nice location just on the river shore. You can swimm on cold water in the nearby river pools. Food is excellent!!

The best in the region. Always fresh food! The meat , fries, traditional bread and vegetables are so tasty and fresh!! The location next to the river and the mountains makes it even more incredible!

What a way to finish an awesome day at the Springs! It was a last minute decision to stop at this restaurant for food before heading back to the coast and boy we are glad we did. Good food (especially meat, kulaç and their homemade “dhalle”), very pleasant staff and an amazing location. You can sit at the table right by the water and enjoy peaceful scenery. 4 stars because I didn’t like their red wine and also I took some food for takeaway and the package they gave me was just an aluminium foil. But besides this everything else was very good.

Absolutely the worst, terrible, bad service that I have received in my life in a restaurant. Not for the waitresses but from the owner. I was there to celebrate, happy and he practically assault me. Ruined my hole day. Never will go back there... Never!!!!

If I could rate 0 I would do it. The worst place to go if you want to eat. We waited one hour and half and nobody came to serve us ... even the drinks!!! ( they told us they forgot our order ) don't waste your time and your patience!!!
