Villa Goliku is a special place. It was a highlight on our trip and we will definitely come back. Valentina is cheerful and a fantastic host. We felt very welcomed. The surrounding nature and mountain views are also pretty amazing

What a wonderful authentic place run by a husband and wife who are kind, meticulous, expert, and opened this boutique hotel overlooking the nearby mountain range about four years ago after coming back from 30 years doing similar work in Greece. The rooms are immaculate, well appointed with Albanian touches, comfortable, bright, and pleasant. The restaurant run by the couple serves excellent locally sourced Albanian food with Greek overtones. We ate outside looking at beautiful views of the mountain range and were sincerely welcomed by the husband and wife. If you are in the neighborhood going to Permet or Gjirokastër then do not miss this special place which has been expertly designed and beautifully built with caring by them.

This place is one and only, I'm in love. If you have doubts, don't hesitate. I can't explain how nice the hosts are, how incredible the food is, and the panorama... If you sleep here you will wake up in a paradise and get the best breakfast you could desire.

We left today from Villa Goliku. Stayed there for two nights. If the rating was for up to 10 STARS I would definitely go for maximum one. Gorgeous, top of the line apartments, breathtaking panoramic view, absolutely remarkable hospitality and where the best traditional food is served. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Valentina & Victor! We will be back. Adrian and Family from Canada

Despite not having a booking and nowhere to stay, we were very welcomed in this guest house. The hosts were so lovely and kind that it is impossible not to like it. I have never had such a warm welcome from strangers. Incredible hosting, with hot from the oven food and clean rooms. Not to forget the views you'll get in this place. Strongly recommend anyone to try this place. You won't want to leave it.

We wanted to hike from Peshtan to Limar and stopped at Villa Goliku for a coffee. We didn't plan to book a room but another travelling couple we met there highly recommended to stay for a night. The warm and friendly welcome from host valentina and Victor as well as the spektakulär view convinced us. After returning from our rainy hike we were greated with warm clean rooms and a hot shower. Highlight of our stay was the homegrown and homecooked vegetarian dinner. Valentina and Victor were a blast. P.S. valentina told us not to hike because we would get wet even though the weather forecast said it wouldn't rain. In fact we did get wet, so listen to Valentina! Thanks for the amazing time!!

This is a great place! First and foremost the hosts, Valentina and Viktor are wonderful people. They are so welcoming and friendly and make their guest feel at home from the first moment. Villa Goliku offers rooms and one suite with a wonderful view to the surrounding mountains and down to the Viosja River valley. The rooms are all new, clean and the suite is euipped with kitchen, living room and TV. Exceptionel is the view! The bed and matress is wonderful. Valentina prepares all food by herself and uses freh ingredients from her garden. She is an excellent cook and you will get fantastic traditional Albanian food. All in all our stay was just great!

Perfect place to stay for the night (or more) during your trip through Albania. We were 4 friends on motorbikes and we get a warm welcome from the lovliest hosts Valentina and Viktor. We felt like home. Rooms are big enough, very clean and well equipped. Valentina prepared perfect dinner for us and also breakfast was very good. You can park your car or bike in a yard, what is safe. Just the last 200-300 metres of road to the accomodation is not in good condition (offroad , but doable :) )

Stunning views, you can even see the milky way at night. Valedina and Viktori are very welcoming people and serve fresh food from their garden. Our daughter learned to make butter with Viktori. The breakfast was not the best, but dinner made up for that. They do not have a guide with things to do and they don't speak English, I hope to help with some pictures here. You can walk to an old village above Permet. You can do a very nice hike close to the house starting at the farm in Peshtan, use Fatmap or strava. Benja thermal baths is worth visiting, walk up the canyon, it is stunning. We also had a lot of fun rafting. Swimming: 2 km from the house, a small road next to the bridge leads you to the river. The first village you find between the bridge and permet is really nice to have dinner, hardly any tourists and once the sun is down, everybody gathers in the center to meet and play

Absolutely amazing view from the hotel, food was great and the staff were extremely hospitable people. It was a very welcoming experience and the food was as traditional as it gets. The rooms all had A/C and were spacious. I will definitely be coming back here during my next visit to Albania.

I came here with my family in July and it not only has beautiful scenery but the owners are truly amazing. They come and make you feel welcome and tell you about the history of the place giving it an overall homey vibe. The food is fresh, delicious and locally sourced I would definitely come back!
