The wine tasting experience was so nice! The wines are delicious and we learned a lot about the complex process of wine making. It's a beautiful location, very close to Siena. Definitely worth visiting! But the light lunch that was included was a bit scanty, we only got a half piece of bread with olive oil.

What a wonderful winery and tour! It was a small group, so a bit more intimate, and the owner gave us a tour which was so insightful. He taught us so much and really showed his passion through the tour. The wines were delicious (we ordered a case home) and the food pairings were phenomenal!! Would highly recommend.

We went for the full tasting with light lunch and tour of the farm. Just fabulous. The wine and olive oil from the farm were excellent and vary diverse. All of the highest quality. The cooking that accompanied it was also a nice and diverse , so we could taste which wines went well with what foods and which didn't. The farm and its fields an vistas were also great andnou guide, a true vinologist, told the stories well and knew his wines. We ended up buying some lovely wines and oils and look back on this day as one of the highlights of a fabulous holiday in Tuscany.

My wife and I enjoyed an amazing tour, tasting, and lunch. Our guide (38-year old from southern Italy) walked us through the small family-owned vineyard and olive tree estate. He started with the olive tree grove, describing the large number of olives required to make one bottle of olive oil, how the trees are pruned to foster new growth (pruning was happening the day of our tour), and the lifespan of the trees. He then took us to the grape vines and similarly provided a thorough discussion of how the vines are organically maintained, the species of grapes on the property, how weather impacts not only the type of grape that can be grown in the area but also how uncontrollable issues like too much/little rain impact a particular year's harvest. We then toured the wine cellar. The tour then moved to the tasting room where four wines were discussed during an excellent luncheon. We had 12 total individuals in our tour group - this is the standard group size (8 Americans, 2 Brits, and 2 individuals from Mexico). We had a great time meeting and enjoying the tasting with the other folks. This tour and tasting epitomizes the Tuscany experience - highly recommend it!! (Side note...most everyone in our group took a taxi from Siena to the vineyard while we drove our leased vehicle. The majority of the roadway to the vineyard is no issue, simply be aware the final 250 meters or so is on what I would call a rural farming work roadway that is single lane - meeting another car would require one party to back up as there simply isn't room to squeeze off onto a shoulder or ditch. We lucked out and didn't meet anyone. Google maps had no problem taking us directly to the vineyard parking area.)

Absolutely amazing! We were so lucky to have a private tour from Gianluigi and he was absolutely amazing. We learnt so much about the olive oil and vineyards. The wines and lunch were delicious too. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Had the tour and wine tasting, which I consider an investment! The guide Christian, is extremely knowledgeable and he managed to explain the very complex process of wine making in words we all understood, since no one in the group was much of an expert. The place is magnificent, so are the wines and so was the food. One of the best experiences in my trip to Tuscany.

Fantastic experience! We were a group of 12 and did the 3 hour tour with lunch. Our host was very knowledgeable, passionate and made the tour really fun! The lunch was nice and light which was perfect and the wine is amazing. If we loved in Italy we would have bought many more bottles. 10/10 highly recommend :)

A great place. Really good wines. We dis the tour (3h) and it was fantastic. One of the owner explaine the making of the wine, from the soil type to the tasting specifics. It was a lot of really interresring information. A great environnemental approche mixte with the science behinde the wine. A great experience, totally worth it.

We had the 'wine lesson' Jean Luigi was our guide, and he provided an excellent summary of the history of winemaking in the region as well as generally, and an insight into the year round activities of the organic vineyard. This was our first wine tour and everything was pitched at exactly the right level. The wine tasting was fun and the quantities generous, the food was of a fantastic quality especially the chocolate and almond cake which was divine. Could not recommend highly enough!

This is the best and most beautiful winery I have ever been to. The owner is so knowledgeable and thoughtful, giving us the experience of a lifetime. You can tell he is very passionate about the family winery and made you feel like family for the day, treating us with the most wonderful home cooked lunch! My husband and I are both so thankful for one of the best experiences we have ever had while traveling. We hope one day we can come back to La Lastra Winery someday!

We had the most amazing lunch and wine experience here. Our guide was the perfect balance of knowledge & humour, to enhance our afternoon. The wines were beautiful and the lunch topped everything off ☺️ They were kind enough to organise our taxi back to the centre as well. A great day and would definitely recommend to others. We hadn’t made plans before we got to Siena so felt very lucky we could book the day before!

THIS! This was the absolute most favorite part of my trip. The passion of the owner, the education of the wine & the strifes of the journey was so beautiful & real. So educational on all things: wine, olive oil, organic creations, climate change, all of it. The wine was amazing & the food was some of the best I’ve had in Italy, bury me with the ravioli. Thank you thank you thank you

Really nice wine house with great atmosphere. People were very kind and made us feel welcome. We did the wine tour including lunch which was amazing. We would definitely recommend to do this if you like to learn some more about organic wine or the wine house itself (also very good lunch!).

Girlfriend and I booked a tour here on our way to Rome and it’s by far the best and most memorable experience we’ve had in the last 8 days on this trip. Wine was fantastic, tour guide was so awesome and funny and knowledgeable, food was amazing and delicious, and the company we shared it with were perfect. We wish the young man who was our tour guide along with the chefs and woman who served us nothing but health and prosperity. Thank you again, with love, from Canada <3

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a wine tour in the enchanting region of Siena, Italy, and I can confidently say it was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived at the beautiful vineyard, we knew we were in for an unforgettable day. Our tour guide was an absolute gem. His warm and welcoming personality instantly put us at ease, and he proved to be a wealth of knowledge about the wine-making process and the vineyard's products. We were captivated by his passion and enthusiasm, and he patiently answered all of our questions, making sure we left with a deeper understanding of the art of winemaking. The property itself was a sight to behold, with rolling vineyards, and breathtaking views of the Siena countryside. The vineyard quickly became one of the highlights of our trip, and we found ourselves lost in its beauty. The highlight of our tour, however, was undoubtedly the wine and food. The quality of the wine was exceptional, and the food pairings were equally outstanding – a delicious assortment of local favorites that perfectly complemented the wines. But what truly made this experience extraordinary was the opportunity to connect with people from all over the world. It was heartwarming to meet people who shared our passion for wine and travel, and to form connections that made the day even more memorable. In conclusion, our wine tour in Siena was a dream come true. We are planning to order some of their exceptional wine, as it allows us to relive those beautiful moments. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone planning a visit to Siena. The informative and kind tour guide, the stunning property, the delectable food, and the incredible wine – it all adds up to an experience that you'll cherish forever. Cheers to Siena and the wonderful memories we created on this unforgettable wine tour!

Incredible experience at the wine tasting and tour at La Lastra. Renato showed us around the beautiful grounds, explaining his process and the intricacies of wine making in Tuscany. We then had a tasting, sampling multiple wines and my favourite meal in Italy so far. It was so authentic and interesting, and the food and wine was incredible. Thank you so much for a nice afternoon!

We had such a great experience learning about the winemaking process at La Lastra. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the process, lunch was delicious, and the scenery was beautiful. And the wine was amazing, and flowing! Definitely a highlight of our trip so far. Highly recommend.

The wine tasting tour + lunch here is just fantastic. Having done a few around Tuscany, this one presents a unique experience of its own. The winery is “small” as compared to some others and has an organic growing process that is a bit different. Our sommelier was very nice, funny, and taught us much about the wine making/growing process. The food served for lunch was so authentic and delicious, and the wines were wonderful. The experience is authentic and well worth the time!
