Utterly terrible - avoid like the plague. I’ve been going to Munchies for years, been a family institution. After today’s effort from them I’ll never go back. They’ve clearly changed hands and quality has dropped off a cliff. Burgers were pink in the middle, the chips were soft and the fish was like rubber. The last two times we’ve ordered they got the order wrong, and today we didn’t notice they’d forgotten one of our burgers until we got home. I don’t mind paying well for good food (when you get it), but on top of all of this their prices have gone up by 20% minimum across the board. Very disappointed we’ve lost a local institution through lack of effort or care about what they are dishing out. We won’t be back.

Very disappointed , ordered though menu log, ordered at 5.45pm didn’t get our food until 6.50pm. It come cold, I ordered a chicken burger and the burger bun was burnt, the flavour went though the whole chicken burger. I have given munchies a few chances and they have not improved. I will not be going back there ever

CASH only shop,, no Efpos,, Alot of staff,,very friendly,, alot of customers around meal times,,order ahead or walk in,, I was there for quick snack for some body,, after ordering notice I could have had double the a mount if I ordered off the dinner menu's, sad the staff member did not mentioned that,, Large display with all the goodies and more,, clean looking prep area,, see you there

online opening hours are wrong. tried to order on menulog at 7 and it said the store was offline despite the website saying it closed at 7:30, wouldn’t pick up the phone either.

Great Service called ahead the food was hot and ready when I got there. The portion size was huge and the staff were so friendly

Great cheap meal. Best chips on coast and their pumpkin scollaps are sensational. Burger was good too.

This may look like a old place but the food is great and has always been in all the years I've been going there!

This place has the most yummiest chips ever and let me tell you, I am a fish 'n' chips gal 😉 Do not be fooled by how this place looks because it oozes yumminess. All it needs now is the shop to reflect it's deliciousness with a much needed renovation, other than that, you have one of the best fish 'n' chips in town!
