What a lovely place to have brekkie. Surrounded by gorgeous plants and trees. Food was well presented and delicious. And best of all...Ted the cafe dog came for a cuddle :-)

Beautiful cafe nestled in amongst the plants, Impact plants cafe is well worth a visit. Enjoyed Smashed Avocado and bacon & eggs. Delicious coffee. Lost one star because the bacon was overcooked and the eggs slightly undercooked. Of course, this cafe isn't alone in doing this. As a practice, we need to do better.

Absolute delight. Great coffee a very good menu with excellent execution. Staff are brilliantly attentive without being intrusive. The setting is unique to the Central Coast. Set inside a nursery this is a gem worth visiting regularly.

Loved the food, surrounded by bush with lizards visiting occasionally made for a beautiful experience.

'The Chef's Garden' café is a pleasant outdoor location for a casual brunch if you're visiting 'Impacts Plant Nursery'. The cafe is somewhat hidden at the end of a short trail through the towering plants in the garden. The food is freshly prepared to order and the staff at the cafe (and also the nursery itself) are accommodating and helpful. We stopped by to pick up some herbs for the home garden, along with potted plants and ceramics last week - but appreciated a hot chocolate with our lunch beforehand. The seating at the dining location is under cover and this provides relief from the weather, regardless of time of year. Pricing for food is reasonable and the nursery products are apparently competitively priced (according to my companions who were plant shopping at the time). We've been visiting this site for family lunch and occasional nursery needs since mid-2000s. TIP for cooler months: Bring a jacket if it's chilly in the morning - due to the cafe's open-walled location.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We went there for a cherry blossom tree and left with a truck full of plants. There a cafe nestled in the tall trees and a beautiful board walk winding around the garden. Definitely a must to see.

This place is beautiful. The nursery is also a great place with friendly and helpful staff. The cafe is great, meals are excellent. The gardens have been here for 35 years and it's a beautiful, serene place to spend some time.

We love it here. We've come for breakfast or lunch many times in the past year. Service is great. Meal portions are large and the food quality is very good. More than all of this is the setting. You feel as if you're having a meal in the middle of a rainforest!

Bit of a mixed feeling. The location is beautiful, with the lush green gardens. The coffee is great, but we were less impressed by the food. We ordered the waffle stack and the eggs Benny with Salmon. It wasn’t bad, but imbalanced. The waffles were plain, and the jam/sauce was overwhelmingly sweet. The eggs Benny had too much mayonaise-type of Hollandaise sauce on them. Would come back for the location, but hope to find some better dishes on the menu

I always enjoy the food off either the breaky or lunch menu. Its reasonably priced , maybe a couple of bucks on the expensive side but its tasty and a decent amount too. Was a little cold and could possibly use outdoor heaters in the winter but it was windy today so not sure they would have helped much ? The service is nice and friendly and the nursery surrounds make it quite unique to the coast and not sure there are too many cafes that have such a nice large lush green surround as this does as well as plenty of seating outside. There are a couple of tables inside but sitting outside is what its all about. Overall I like this place, been quite a few times and my oldies and sisters love it.

The food is always fantastic! Staff were great, so very attentive and polite, made us feel welcomed. A regular for my family and I can enjoy my coffee while the children explore the nursery

The best rain Forrest nursery I have been to and really healthy plants at a reasonable price and very accommodating owners when I had to get them to put plants away for me to pick up and I had to put my pick up day back a week. They were great
