The food was good. Our waitress was pleasant. QR code menus are annoying and the glowing of phones really takes from the atmosphere. The menu is confusing as it doesn't say what each item is or has in it.

A very nice romantic place. Came here the day before Valentines Day with my partner and we both enjoyed the food. They have a nice wine selection, the staff is nice, and the food tastes fresh and high quality. Price tag is a little high so for two people expect to pay about $70-$80 with a couple drinks. That said this is a great date spot so if you want to splurge and have a nice date then this place is perfect. The picture is of the Italian board they offer.

This place is amazing! Went there for brunch on a Saturday and basically had the whole place to ourselves. The food was delicious and the iced coffee had COFFEE ICE CUBES!! Highly recommend giving this place a try. The aesthetic was adorable and I still can’t atop thinking about the mason jar light fixtures. So cute!! 😍 The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the prices- a bit high for small portions that don’t fully fill you up. But still worth going once in a while to treat yourself!!

After having a horrible racist experience by a local establishment that refused to service my group, we called Salumi and asked if they could accommodate us. The gentleman who I spoke with, was so sweet and polite. He let me know that they were booked with their prior Mothers Day reservations, but that at around 12/12:30pm, they would have tables. He then gave me the option of sitting at the bar, if we didn't mind. We were a group of adult moms, so we didn't mind it at all. Let me say, the staff at this location was absolutely welcoming and sweet even though their establishment was full. We sat at the bar and received the best attention and service. The food was so tasty and the portion size was just perfect. I regret not taking more pictures of the food. I am looking forward to visiting again and trying one of the boards. Keep up the great work! Thank you for rescuing our Mother's Day!

Don’t order TO-GO. You get half the portions you normally get when you eat there. Dine in when the pandemic is over.

Stopped by around 1:00 on a Saturday for the first time and was BLOWN away by the food. The restaurant and the bathrooms were perfectly clean, and the atmosphere was so relaxed and laid back. We got the garlic shrimp (10/10), Milano sandwich (oh my god 10/10) and the bocadillo bites (5/10). Garlic shrimp was probably the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. My boyfriend loved the Milano sandwich so much he started to cry tears of joy. The bocadillo bites were kinda gross IMO, the pork belly was just fat globs but I forgive them bc the rest of the food was spectacular. Cant wait to come back here and try the drinks, I’d definitely recommend!!!

Tapas with an Italian/Spanish focus. Some items were good, some not so good. For what you pay, there are better places to go for a meal. The Italian meat and cheese plater was very good, as were the chicken wings. The octopus, carboara pasta, and pork sandwich were not worth getting. The pound cake was better than the banana cake.

The food and drinks are always on point. The staff and management are superb. I ordered the garlic shrimp-classic spanish tapa - grilled shrimp in spicy garlic sauce and the bocadillo bites-braised pork belly with kimchi, cilantro and sesame mayo on baguette roll

Food did not disappoint! They definitely don’t skimp on the acid, Garlic Shrimp and Branzino were rippin’. Octopus was cooked…perfectly. Probably some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Difficult to get right and I’m elated I took a chance on it. Pound cake with sweet cream and berries was delicious! Wines were good. Fairly typical and classic selection. You’ll find something you’ll enjoy there.

Brian and Nico were excellent bartenders, loved this place. They went out of their way to make sure my party and I were happy, they were very knowledgeable about all their selections of wine. They even went out of their way offering us different selections of wines to make sure all of our tastes were met accordingly. They were truly amazing. The food and wine was spectacular. I will definitely be back again!!!

Salumi is one of Massapequa‘s hidden treasures. Their boards are incredibly curated, their wine selection is extensive and has something for everyone, and you can’t go wrong with any of their large or small plates. Be it brunch, lunch from the sandwich counter (I recommend the Roma), or dinner, Salumi is always a great choice. Ps you MUST try the chocolate dip dessert.

excellent food, rotating seasonal menu, top notch wine and beer curation, down to earth atmosphere. salumi's a much-needed asset in the long island community, deeply appreciated by those who jive with the vibe they've worked hard to nourish.

We have been eating at Salumi since they opened maybe 6 years ago. They have a very big turnover of staff so we have never gotten to become very familiar with. The food is unique and typically very good. The owners are frequently present, sitting at the bar sampling their wines and chatting with staff… so much so that staff ignores customers. As often as we frequent the owners never greet us, never ask how our meals are, never say thanks for coming, hope you enjoyed your meal, etc. I don’t get it. It is a relatively small establishment and the staff seem to take their key from the owners, stand-off ish. We go because we like the food but the owners are very unwelcoming. We would go more often if the atmosphere were better. We walk past the owners most often but they have never welcomed us or thanked us for patronage. So we give a not great rating

A truly gourmet deli and coffee shop. The food is fresh and beautifully prepared. And this is great place for a PROPER latte. The adjacent restaurant and tapas bar of the same name is also outstanding.

Really kool, chill spot with lots of food and drink options, some light music playing in the background, everyone enjoying each other’s company. Really LOVED the Tinto Margarita, which is a mix of wine and margarita pretty much, loved the twist on it, had a few of those! 🙃 Shared the delicious Italian board with my friend, who’s been here before, and absolutely loves it; she gets it every time! I would have to say the same! So good! Also loved the garlic shrimp in the tapas menu. We ordered the carbonara to share, though it was decent, could’ve had a little more flavor but overall okay. And our waitress Carmela, omg what a doll! So freaking adorable and friendly, giving us recs on what to order. She was so accommodating to us - we were there for almost 6 hrs just chatting away, ordering more drinks and food just the two of us, and she never rushed us to leave, which we appreciated! Because hey we needed our girl time! Lol. Would definitely return.

I have been to this spot many times, but I have never been for a brunch. You walk in and it smells wonderful. It's very inviting and comfortable. The menu had so much to offer. Different and intriguing. I went with my sister and we had the tastiest breakfast I've ever had outside my own kitchen. Staff was great. Attentive and informative. Coming from the hospitality business myself, it was greatly appreciated. Drinks were refreshing and delicious. I 100% recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

A wonderful place for brunch. I am so excited to go back and try tapas there. As you can see from the pictures the cheese board is amazing and worth every penny. Food was delicious, fresh and very well presented.

This place was delicious and a perfect dinner. Not only the charcuterie boards, but you must try some of their small plates, wow! We especially enjoyed the bocadillo bites, oyster mushrooms, and shrimp and grits.

Last night we had a 40th birthday party at Salumi. Everything was simply perfect. The evening flowed with such ease. Each and every course was mouthwatering, and the wine pairings were flawless. Many thanks to Lilly for guiding us through organizing such a joyous and memorable evening!

Easily one of my favorite restaurants. Ive been multiple times (for dine-in and take-out) and it’s always consistently amazing. Their cheese boards are top notch. I love the tapas selections. The staff really know the best wines to pair with whatever you get. Overall, Salumi is a special place where you instantly feel right at home and cozy. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant

3 words...SALUMI IS GREAT. A family friend gifted us an "Italian board" for my wife's birthday and we have been hooked ever since. All their menu selections are perfect. Made with well researched purveyd high quality ingredients. I highly recommend their boards but you can't go wrong with any item on their menu. Wine selections are impeccable as is the entire staff. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a great place for date night or with a small group of friends. Not suited for children. The seating was cozy so that's why I wouldn't suggest this place for kids. It also has a bar like environment but in a good way. The service was fast and our waiter offered great suggestions. You can easily wind up with a big bill and too much food if you get carried away. The bread is delicious and they have a decent selection of alcoholic beverages. Any of the boards they offer are delicious. We also ordered extra olives. The dessert board is wonderful as well. Overall, this is a really nice place. I will definitely come again. Parking can be tricky but you can always park across the street at Lidl.

Amazing restaurant! The staff was so kind and the food tasted amazing. I’m not crazy about sunny side up eggs but wow was the piquillo sunrise. I also had their garlic potatoes and French toast which was amazing as well. The French toast is not on the mushy side which I loved. Their mimosa and cappuccinos are also yummy! We were at the bar and watching them make cheese boards and they look absolutely delicious as well. Highly recommend them for brunch! Thank you guys for your amazing service!!

Staff was welcoming and very attentive. Menu can be a little overwhelming on just how much choices there are, but the plating choices are phenomenal! Really impressed with the combinations of small details in the quality of ingredients to dance on your pallette. Atmosphere made me feel right at home. Cant wait to come back!

We haven't eaten here yet, just drank, but it was top notch! Honestly the food looked amazing, but we were just there for drinks, and the wine while sitting on the couch felt like a top notch Friends episode. Also, be sure to ask the bartender for their favorite wines- they always recommend the best!

Never disappoints! The food, drinks, ambiance, staff, everything is wonderful. Last time we sat at the bar which I never usually do out to dinner, but it was so enjoyable that I would actually request to sit there in there in the future. We were able to converse with 2 employees, Brian and Joe who were so attentive, friendly and actually took the time to chat with us. Can’t wait to go back soon!

Long time customer (one of their first actually) and finally made it hear for brunch. Boy was I missing out. Talk about starting the day off right? A great coffee, an ice cold beer (yes I am that guy) coupled with walnut pesto toast and an Egg, bacon and fig jam sandwich on a home made English muffin - out of this WORLD. Try it for yourself you'll see. Two very big thumbs up.

Have gone there a couple times and got to try out a few of their different menu options. Brunch was absolutely delicious, definitely try the French toast. Went for dinner another night and got the roast pork loin which was incredible. Super friendly service, shout out to Boris. Will definitely make this a regular place for me

The food is great, wine flights even better. I really appreciated our servers attentiveness to a food allergy that I had--I ordered something without realizing I couldn't have it, and she let me know. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the staff does not rush you out. Can't wait to come back!

OMG, this is the biggest hidden gem! Off of Jericho Turnpike turn into Friendly's if you must and head to the back, you'll see a small entrance into the neighboring parking area towards the back and boom! You've arrived to the best Ramen I could find. At first you'll enter a cute Japanese market with all the authentic finds, head to the back and order a Ramen of your choice. If you like spice like me get R4 and the fried chicken is fresh and delightful as well. Must try!

New fall menu 2020 is excellent. Highly recommend the king trumpets, that is truly a rockstar dish that is underrated. As always, get a board (we got the Italian this time,) a few glasses of wine (the alto adige pinot and Tempranillo are my favorites right now!) One of the most important restaurants on Long Island. So excited to continue frequenting this amazing place.

Great little spot with fantastic food, superb service, and bonus, a fun bunch of additional kitchen/food items for sale. Can personally recommend the Spanish Board and bloody marvelous (a very interesting spin on a traditional bloody mary) but from the quality of what we saw and tasted I'm sure it's all similarly tasty.

Love the food, warm olives, octopus, cheese boards, great beer and wine selection. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always a great time! Update: July 2020: Been back three times since re opened after covid closure. Food still awesome. Service top notch. Try the mushrooms.....they were amazing. Cocktails still made to perfection. You seriously cannot go wrong with anything at Salumi. By far, my wife and I's favorote spot.

I'm writing this because of the disrespectful and insulting customer service my party received. As a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Head of the L.I Restaurant Association, I know bad customer service when I see it. I made a reservation prior to my visit, and even called the day of to confirm. I arrived and there was no reservation under my name. Mistakes happen, and my party and I were finally seated. My party ordered a few meat boards and a bunch of tapas to share along with a few bottles of wine. The diversity of the menu food was very good! However, I did not realize nor anticipate that my stay at the establishment was being TIMED. Our waitress rudely interjected at my party's table and stated, "By the way, you have 15..I mean 17 minutes left before you have to leave". I asked her why and she stated, "Reservations are only an hour and a half long". I wish I was made aware of this policy before I made the reservation. It was not noted anywhere on the Restaurant's website, nor when I entered. A few minutes later, another person (presumably the restaurant owner or Maitre'd) yelled at us and said, "Your time is up, you need to leave. Here's a box". Personally, I was very insulted by the staff. I strongly feel that this could have been handled a different way. I basically was kicked out of the restaurant, along with my party. It was probably the most embarrassing act of a restaurant and hospitality establishment I've ever seen. I'm not returning to the establishment again, and suggest that other's avoid it as well.
