Avoid their sushi. The tuna looks like cat food and tasted funky and sour in both the spicy tuna roll appetizer tuna dish. The whitefish roll also tasted fishy. The salmon roll and shrimp tempura roll were okay, but we ended up throwing out most of the meal, and for the price, that was ridiculous.

I had a great time here with my niece and nephew. A good menu for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Let them know if you have dietary issues.

My first time here and it was a very pleasant experience. I came to Connecticut for work and was in the mood for sushi and I'm very glad I stopped here. They were extremely friendly as soon as I walked in the door and the food was excellent. Price was definitely affordable came out very fast. My whole experience was great will definitely come again next time I am in this area

Abis is like family to us! We have been coming to Abis since my daughters were little kids. We are now brining our grandchildren here! This is our go to spot for any family celebration and we always feel so welcomed by the staff! The food is amazing! The service is even better!

The hibachi was wonderful : Everything was very tasty. In addition I ordered veggie gyoza that was SO yum I recommend it with the mustard sauce I had miso soup that was not too salty and nice tasting as well. My main course was agedashi tofu and it was served differently than I ever had it. Neither was it too deep fried but also the tofu was a little firm as well which was nice. The coolest thing was that the hibachi grill was tones and the chef took time to make melodies on it before cooking. He served me like he would have served his own family and his care brought a tear to my eye and I decided to hum a tune I new, in joy. I highly recommend this place. We were a part of three and two steak eaters and I was pure vegetarian. (Fried eggs optionally on the menu as well.) This place served me wonderful delicious kindly and they have delightful statues of the Bodhisattva Kuan-yin as well as Shakyamuni Buddha. May all be happy. This place gets my five stars.

Overpriced! Charged $5 for fried rice over white rice at hibachi. Family of 3 kids and 3 adults for dinner was $400 with tip... ridiculous! But this is Greenwich... not returning... was still hungry afterwards... not a good experience...

Don’t ever get delivery!!!! Terrible, rubbery chicken , always cold, shrimp way over cooked in little pieces. Wasn’t cold because of driver, I’m 5 min away)3x now. Never again. As if thrown in a mix from left overs & heated in a microwave. It has gone down hill. Certainly not worth $50, even look unappealing, Yuck!

We went here the other night for my daughter’s birthday. We were so disappointed with our experience. The whole fun of going to hibachi is the chef & them being fun & performing tricks. Our chef did absolutely nothing. He just quickly cooked the food while he was teaching a new chef recruit. He didn’t interact with us at all. I don’t know if they’re short staffed, but it certainly was not worth the price paid.

I ordered chicken and sirloin teriyaki. The meats were tough, dry and tasteless! The rice was dry and hard. Such an expensive dish and it doesn’t come with soup or salad!

Barely make it 3 stars. It was fun, a show to experience. Our chef was funny. Price was high for the food they offered. I guess it's all for the entertainment.

The waitress served pork Katsu instead of chicken katsu-which I was only able to tell after taking a bite. They tried to offer a different dish to me; I told them I felt sick and I couldn’t eat anything because I don’t eat pork for religious reasons. They didn’t charge me for the dish but they also didn’t offer a discount or a sincere apology for the mistake. I’ve never experienced a restaurant make such a huge mistake. The manager was so rude, confrontational, defensive and had zero sense of customer service. Entirely unaware. I am shocked that in a town like Greenwich a restaurant could get away with such unaccommodating, rude and self righteous behavior. Even after I presented the issue to him he didn’t offer anything to make amends. 🤮
