We had a great experience at Le Lys d'Or. The owners are very nice and friendly. The rooms are big, spacious and clean. Comfortable beds and comfortable location close to a metro station. Prices are perfect with respect to the service. We had and amazing home style European breakfast. It definitely felt like home. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in spending some time in Brussels.

Booked here and never got an answer via email, phone, social networks. We needed a late check-in and we're pretty sure that nobody would wait for us at this place. The booking site tried to contact them without success as well. Beware

We stayed two nights on our vacation. Had a really pleasant stay in Christmas. The rooms are good-sized, considering each has its own en suite bathroom. The location can't be beat and the value for money is very good. Lys d'or is the best place to stay in Brussels!

Our room was amazing! Right down the road from the metro so it's very convenient, and their service was kind and excellent. We would recommend to anyone travelling in Brussels!

Excellent price to value ratio. The staff was really friendly, the rooms spacious with comfortable beds, tea machine and TV. The only negatives would be the messy entrance and the not so efficient shower. Oh and the breakfast was deliciously abundant.

Lovely B&B, 20 minutes walk away from Grand Place but with plenty of excellent bars and restaurants on the doorstep to choose from. The rooms are very spacious and tidy, and the hostess was very friendly, helpful and accommodating

Easy enough to get to from the main Brusssels Midi and a short walk to the main areas such as the Grand Palace and the Hill of Museums etc. The room was lovely and breakfast every morning was delicious. I'd highly recommend it for a relaxing stay in Brussels

If you want exquisitely large and well-furnished rooms in an ideal Brussels location, Le Lys d'Or is a great value. A few doors down from a Metro stop (Hotel de Monnaies), this spacious and immaculate hotel provides quick and ready access to just about everything. Gar du Midi is two Metro stops away; the only reason I can think of to stay in one of the featureless hotels next to the station would be if you can't negotiate stairs: there is no elevator here and all rooms are up stairs.

A wonderful B& B in the heart of Brussels, not too far off from Gare du Midi. A lovely, well-furnished, meticulously maintained suite on the second floor of a typically Brussels building.
