Got the eye surgery one year ago and still can’t see properly with my right eye. I can’t read on a laptop or phone screen properly. Even watching TV is a struggle sometimes. I went back a lot of times to complain about this and the only answers I’ve had are “it’ll get better” (it hasn’t gotten any better) and then just recently “there’s nothing we can do”. Conclusion: I used to be able to see much better with glasses on than now after I’ve had the surgery. Also disappointed about the overall careless attitude of Dr Evens.

Unfortunately, I wasn't as lucky as most. I was happy with the pre-laser service and the procedure itself. Then, it turned out one of my eyes wasn't healing well. I live quite far away from the clinic. I went back multiple times over the course of several months (2h to get there, 2h to go back) and received the same answer every time ''It doesn't look like anything is wrong. We promise it will get better in time. It may take a couple of weeks or months, but it will get better for sure!". After hearing this for several months, I quit driving back and forth and just hoped for the best... Two (!) years later, that eye still drives me crazy on a daily basis. I would rather have kept my two bad eyes + glasses. Now, I'm stuck with one perfect eye and one eye that seems to be unfixable, bothering me every single day. I completely understand that most procedures turn out 100% fine and that I am an exception to the rule. Still. The service after the procedure could have been better. I repeatedly felt like I was not being taken serious because ''nothing seemed wrong and it would all be okay soon". The doctors weren't worried, weren't really looking at possible explanations, etc. I wouldn't have gone back and forth, losing that much time, that often, for nothing. The assistants and the receptionists were all nice enough. The clinic is clean and modern. The doctors were generally nice. That being said, I can't recommend the laser surgery because of my negative experience.

I had a femto lasik eye surgery done in this clinic by Dr. Evens in July 2020 and 6 months later, I couldn't be happier with the results. The first two weeks were a bit rough, my vision was still blurry and my eyes were constantly dry, but it got better and now my sight is 20/20 with no side effects. I would definitely recommend.
