I
had
the
chance
to
patronize
Cathedral
during
a
one-month
stay
in
Brussels.
My
sister,
a
regular
member,
wanted
to
convince
me
to
work
out
by
scheduling
three
sessions
a
week
with
personal
trainers.
I
discovered
that
there
are
(at
least)
two
types
of
gyms:
the
ones
with
all
the
latest
equipment,
mirrors
on
the
wall
and
AC,
and
the
ones
like
Cathedral,
where
the
only
machines
are
four
rowers
used
to
warm
up
and
where
the
gym
doubles
as
sauna
in
the
summer.
I
am
usually
suspicious
of
the
"I
don't
need
your
technology"
attitude,
but
I
quickly
learned
what
the
Cathedral
state
of
mind
is.
Machines
guide
you
to
do
the
right
movement
so
that
you
don't
get
hurt.
At
Cathedral,
whether
in
personal
or
group
training
sessions,
it
is
the
job
of
the
instructor
to
do
so.
Personally,
I
learned
a
ton
from
the
trainers
I
worked
with,
Younes
and
Youssef.
They
knew
exactly
where
to
put
the
difficulty
and
the
tempo.
I
felt
challenged
but
never
out
of
place.
I
always
believed
I
could
do
the
tasks
at
hand
instead
of
just
being
dejected.
In
one
month
I
became
totally
addicted.
The
thing
is,
the
results
come
so
fast,
you
feel
like
you
are
making
so
much
progress
that
you
just
want
to
continue
improving.
I
wasn't
in
it
to
lose
weight
(I
had
a
BMI
of
23
and
body
fat
of
18%
before
starting,
so
that
wasn't
the
priority)
but
the
before
and
after
pictures
don't
lie
😁
As
for
Younes
and
Youssef,
they
were
spectacular,
knowledgeable
trainers.
I
learned
so
much
from
them.
If
I
lived
in
Brussel,
as
far
as
I
am
concerned,
we
could
totally
become
friends.
As
far
as
group
classes
go,
since
I
was
there
quite
often,
I
could
see
the
camaraderie
between
everyone
involved.
Cathedral
had
made
me
realize
that
working
out
should
be
a
collective
experience,
and
that's
what's
I
will
look
for
in
my
hometown.
