I know that I am a tourist and I am not an expert in waffles.... But they are amazing!!!. I took Brussel waffle with hot chocolate and caramel ice cream. One have to experience it to appreciate it. But it more than that. If weather permits, sit outside and enjoy the view. It is second to none.

A popular establishment that served a good variety of waffles. The service staffs were polite but provided an underwhelming service. The Belgium styled waffle was light and delicious and can easily be consumed anytime of the day. It was best to dine in as it was difficult to slice the waffle (even more it had toppings) on the go.

Looks great but the actual taste disappoints... Whipped cream is airy but has the texture of store bought product, not sure why they are using frozen strawberries if it's the season for fresh ones... Coffee is good though and it's a nice interior so maybe those are the saving graces here... 🧇☕

I walked into another Maison Dandoy wanting to eat waffles and was directed here because the previous branch was smaller and didn't serve waffles. I didn't know if the cookies or the waffles are more famous here but decided to give it a try anyway. I asked the cashier to give me recommendations but she couldn't. As I have already tried a lot of Liege waffles, I decided to try the Brussels waffles here. At least the cashier told me that the Brussels waffles does not have sweetness like the Liege ones so she recommended me to try it with dark chocolate topping. The waffles were not hot nor warm when served so it didn't really taste very good, but it made up for the hot dark chocolate which was poured on the waffles. I didn't really like the style of the Brussels waffles as it was lighter, fluffier and tasteless (which I don't think is the problem with the shop). I enjoyed the hot chocolate sauce more than the waffles in my opinion. A little regretful but at least I experienced both the Brussels and Liege waffles for the Belgium trip.

I recommend this place 100%. It was all over the Internet for waffles as well as places to try. Staff is very helpful and listens to your preference. Top-notch service. My waffles with whipped cream and latte was out of the world. ❤️ Their 3rd floor is normally closed but they let me explore it.

Amazing tasting and very fresh waffles. They were very warm and melting in the mouth. Visited 2 of their branches during my stay in Brussels

A small and cute waffle place located in a gorgeous area of Brussels. The place tends to get crowded but the service is quite fast. They serve very tasty Brussels and Liège waffles.

The gentleman working here was lovely. He took such care in creating my sampler box. The cookies are beautiful and so delicious. It’s a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The biscuit Florentine was my absolute favorite.

Delicious Belgian waffles. Tried out the Brussels waffle with crunchy hazelnuts, chocolate topping and ice cream.

The best waffle in Brussel. There are something special about waffles at Maison Dandoy: they are simple and not heavy. I was once thought that perhaps it famous because its close proximity from the Grand Place and the Maneken Pis. If you are confused about which waffles to try first in Brussels, then go to Maison Dandoy first, then try others. It was established in 1829 so their recipes must be well tested. We tried both Brusells and Liege waffles. Both excellent, tasty but not too sweet. The toppings are fresh and indulging. Their coffee is a real compliment of the waffles. Excellent waffles!

Best Waffles in the whole wide world! Generally places just reheat the precooked Waffles, but here they make fresh. And you can certainly feel the difference. And the caramelized sugar on top of fresh warm Waffles. It's Heavenly to eat and slowly experience the feeling. Can come back to Brussels just for this!

Service was weird. The waiter told me they don’t take cash, and when I asked for wifi, he also told me customers can’t use the wifi. The Brussels waffle was okay. There are better waffle options around.

Our first time trying Belgian waffles in Belgium, and these were honestly the best waffles I’ve ever had. We came back here twice while staying in Brussels, and both times were not disappointed. The waffle is light and airy, and the flavours on top really compliment each other. The ice cream with it hits the spot

Waffles are worth the wait in the long queue. The place serves two different types of waffles, we tried the Brussels waffles (other one being Liege) and it was the best we have ever had. The place was true to its name. The service was a bit slow.

A very crowded place to eat waffles, but really worth it. You have to stand in line, (quite unorganised line), for a few minutes. But after the wait you’re being seated and can choose from a menu with a few options. I like a bit more variety, but that is a personal preference, but the range is still good. It was unfortunate that they were out of strawberries at 16:00 when we visited but beside that, the waffles where great! Definitely worth the wait! If you’re impatient, you can also order a waffle to go.

This location had a nice coffee shop vibe. We tried their waffles. They were light and crunchy. We tried them with powdered sugar my favorite. We also tried with a side of ice cream and chocolate syrup and whipped cream. We chose a cinnamon flavored ice cream and to my surprise I loved it. It had Avery unique flavor. We also tried their hot chocolate. Which was not to rich but just right. And my kids loved it. I ordered cappuccino as well and it was the usual. Give them a try when your are in the area.

Charming place in Bruxelles! We got recommendation to go there to try waffles and we did not mistake. Waffles were sooo good and well baked (there are 2 types of waffles). My husband got a clssic - vanilla + chocholate. I got with vanilla ice, salted caramel and crocant (I think it was a crocant)). The one with vanilla + chocolate was tastier. You should go there and try.

I love the whole experience, the tea room was nicely decorated, the waffles were really crispy and probably the best ones that I've tried throughout my 4 days trip in Belgium. I must also mention that the coffees were of good quality too, there was a lot of milk in my latte, and I loved it.

Best waffles I’ve ever had, recommended by a local. Great coffee too, a must stop in brussels!

Aesthetically very pretty, but the waffle was quite heavy and oily, I was dragging myself to finish it after 3 bites.

Delicious Belgian waffle, fluffy and sweet with great toppings. One of the best I’ve had in Brussels. It’s too bad the strawberries are cooked and not fresh. We had the speculoos bits with salty butter and whipped cream instead. A bit pricey. But very tasty and it’s definitely a must in Brussels

As soon as we arrived in Brussels we headed straight to this amazing place. The ambiance was really nice with cool music, the aroma was absolutely fantastic, wonderful service and then... Incredibly delicious Waffles!!

waffles tasted bready and were not soft. it was disappointing and not worth the wait unfortunately. the ice cream was nice

The Brussels waffles and biscuits are amazing in this place. It is actually for me the best Brussels waffle in the city. 7€ for a waffle with sugar, price goes up if you add toppings like fruit or chocolate. I prefer it natural! They are mostly crispy and are soft inside.

So we planned a trip to Brussels and Waffles was the first thing we wanted to try. So I asked CHATGPT about some of the best places and this was one of the places on the list. After checking Google reviews and this place history, we decided to go here. Don't go by G Maps direction as it will lead you to their another store which does not serve Waffles but she will guide you how to go - go straight towards Grand Place and take the second right (~ 7 mins walking). So finally coming to review. As expected you will have to stand in a queue of ~ 15 mins. No issues here. It was expected. You can choose from one of the 6 varieties or can create your own. Yes, choices are limited. I customized my own - Brussels waffles with Chocolate and homemade Vanilla ice cream. The Waffles were crunchy and soft. The taste was awesome. It looks heavy but isn't much. The sugar is medium (just as I like) , not very sweet as you may find at other places. It's not overloaded with too much toppings so you get the taste of Waffles also and feels light yet satisfying. I got the Cappuccino also but nothing special in it, just as normal. Waffles were totally worth the price. After this, I had Waffles at 2 other places and this one was way ahead of them. I wanted to try a Strawberry one, we reached around 6 and the place was already closed as the Waffles were sold out. So I recommend you to don't be late and visit their in the day time. If you late you may either miss Brussels waffles (Liege is the other option) or you may miss the strawberries or the place me be even closed before their official closing time.

After 4pm can only eat outside in the street, mass and need to take a table by chance. The waffle is good, sadly I prefer the cooked strawberries than fresh one. The so-called icetea is 100% industrial rubbish.

Best waffles in Brussels! If you want to have your first Belgian waffle make a beeline Maison Danoby. It's impossible to miss the massive queue outside the restaurant. The waffles are nice and chewy and they have really great toppings like their homemade ice cream. Well worth the wait.
