Restaurant Brunch restaurant

😠 Not worth it at all for 18€ a person! I booked here after looking online and seeing 182 reviewers giving the restaurant 4.5 stars. I have no idea why. Outrageous prices for mediocre food that is more like a hotel free breakfast. We went here today after reserving a table for 9: 7 adults, 2 child... People often mention buffet, brunch, good,

Not worth it at all for 18€ a person! I booked here after looking online and seeing 182 reviewers giving the restaurant 4.5 stars. I have no idea why. Outrageous prices for mediocre food that is more like a hotel free breakfast. We went here today after reserving a table for 9: 7 adults, 2 children. After we seated ourselves, it took time to me acknowledged by a server or anyone. I did now realize it was buffet only even for lunch. The place is VERY small so not conducive to a buffet because people are crowded, on top of one another just to get to the food. They don’t refill the food quick enough. And the price does not include any sort of drink, not even water. Service was so slow, no one cared to ask us if we neede anything...the largest party/table. Customers were constantly having to ask for more eggs to be refilled or for bottles of water or bowls. Okay food + very poor service + insanely over-priced buffet = never coming here again.

This vintage-decorated, cosy but small place, is one of my favourite spots in Brussels for brunch. I mentioned that it is quite small and so it’s always better to book in advance. The open kitchen makes you feel like home being surrounded by the constant smell of the delicious buffet they have. It consists on salty and sweet food, all homemade, included in an all you can eat menu, along with a cold and a warm drink. On sunny days you can even enjoy the brunch outside in their terrace. Totally recommended!

Nice brunch formula for 21€, cheaper than many places in Brussels, with a buffet and warm drink. Good choice of food including jam, cereals, cakes, ham as well as savory dishes such as the obvious sausage and eggs but also a tasty quinoa and dill salad. As a vegan, it was good to find more than one option that I could eat, including vegetable milk for my hazelnut latte and for the cereals. I'm giving 5 stars because the chef went out of his way to recreate a potato and beet salad without bacon just for me! Friendly staff, cozy setting, good food and excellent manners, we will definitely be back!

Although the quality of the kitchen was very good, the fact that so many people are crammed into such a small area made the experience quite stressful

Very nice food, good coffee ☕ .easy brunch. Not crazy packed like other places. Small inside but if you can take a seat outside its good. Too bad the road is on it is very busy otherwise it would be perfect. Recommended the scrambled eggs and the Americano coffee

I liked the place, the style, the food, the location, the circular economy concept. The staff was friendly and they serve TAP WATER too ❤. We were lucky as we did not book in advance and in Brussels it is impossible to brunch without.

Nice brunch with elaborated fresh dishes. One suggestion would be to include more variety of cheeses (we only had Camembert) and free jar of water to each table. Staff was friendly and polite.

Love this place for a lazy Sunday brunch. €20 I believe it was, which included coffee, fresh boulangerie pastries and access to the all-you-can-eat buffet. I was expecting the typical continental spread of breads, sliced meats and cheeses, but there was a good deal more such as salads, pâtés, and several breads, plus more unexpected choices like parsnip soup and chocolate mousse. I was impressed by the inclusion of hot dishes too like scrambled eggs, chipolata sausages and bubble-and-squeak. Decor was charming, if a bit overly girlie-froufrou, with cute mis-matched old china plates and cups. And finally the service was also impressive - our waitress always had a smile even though she was rushing around like a decapitated hen. You should book ahead unless you plan to arrive before 10am.

We tried Sunday brunch. The food was tasty and there were some original salads but not much general choice. It is understandable for a small place but all in all I found it expensive for what we got. I would have preferred a non buffet service, where you can choose what you want. The staff was very friendly.

I had the pleasure of having breakfast at toast and tart and I was thoroughly impressed. The coffee was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

😠 Had to wait 30 minutes for a simple burger order. The burgers are just lying there, ready to be served, but staff is generally not capable or willing to pick one up and lay it on a platter. Be prepared to invest some time when visiting this place. Really makes you consider the "fast" in "fast food".
