Used to be a nice place for a lunch or dinner. The owners left to other horizons and nowadays Het Geheim only serves breakfast and brunch, which is a pity. Sterrebeek needed a place like Het Geheim were you could go for a quick uncomplicated dinner. Nowadays the waitresses spend more time smoking outside rather than anything else. A shame, should not've changed a winning formula.

Friendly people, but food is not good. Not fresh, heated mostly and overcooked.

We took the normal breakfast option, and were a little disappointed. Little buns were from the supermarket (I have the same at home so that's not why I go and eat out), the orange juice came in a mini jug that was only enough to fill 1 glass for 3/4 and we were 2 (?!) and there was no fresh fruits on the yoghurt like the menu said. Overall we had a good time and enjoyed our breakfast, but I expected a lot better considering the ratings here

I often come here with my family for some frites, pasta, and shrimp. The quality is consistent and Het Geheim is overall a good restaurant.

Really nice spot to grab evening dinner. They had lots of toys for us to entertain our daughter, very accommodating with toys and crayons & we loved dessert & coffee.

The secret of this place is.. bad service. Walked in at 10 am on a Saturday. Asked if they still had a table. The young girl in the room didn't know what to do and looked at the older woman in the kitchen. Super awkward moment. The answer was "no we don't, everything is reserved" even though there was a free table. Anyway, that's still possible.. So we asked ourselves if we could sit at a badly positioned table near the entrance that was clearly not used & just sitting there with a box on it. "Preferably not" was the answer. Euh, okay? You don't want to serve people and earn money? We turned around in shock to leave & they felt the need to mention "next time you must reserve". As if there will be a next time...

Got banned for life. Don’t know how the food tastes.

Conveniently located restaurant. I have been there for an afternoon tea/coffee with cake of the day. Price matches the quality served there and we were treated with friendly people with real smile on their faces! I will definitely visit again for a breakfast and lunch.

Kids liked the pancakes, and my omelette was ok. A bit pricey for the portion sizes, but overall not bad.

Very nice brunch that we could not really enjoy because the cook had already left. We had some beers. Orval is available!

Very family friendly staff and the food is excellent. Athough the beer selection is limited, the steak is one of the best I have ever had especially with the homemade pepper sauce and a generous portion of french fries. The brewery stew and the Italian meatballs are also flavorful and a generous value. Walk past everthing else and have a great dinner in the shadow of the nearby church tower. You will not be disappointed with this new addition to Sterrebeek.

It's cozy and the service is good. The food however is not bad, but not great either. Pomme Duchesses were dry and plainly just reheated. The meat in comparison was cooked to perfection, but the sauce didn't match. The place has potential for lunch/dining, but isn't quite there yet. For coffee and dessert, it's a great place. All in all, I think it can be a great place if they step up a bit in certain aspects. Potential is there, result isn't quite there yet.

The carrot cake is very good, also the coffee serves was a very good quality. Friendly people. Enjoyed my visit. Next time I will go for a breakfast.
