Very nice forest and cloister. They also have a cafeteria at the entrance, just that it only has drinks. Nothing to eat (only cookies and brownies), no salty things, nothing. Just drinks. But to rest and catch your breath it's ok. I would recommend them to enlarge their menu offers. There are so many easy things that you can offer: sandwiches, salads, croque monsieur/madame, kiches, etc. Anyway, the place is very nice for a long walk and to get away from the busy city center.

À lot of walkers with that nice, weather, but respectful distances. Parking the car was HELL. Long queuing, to get in and again to get out.

Took a nice walk and a very active play session at the playground in Rouge Cloitre. My toddler entertained himself a lot at the boat playground (under my strict supervision, because the place is supposed to be safe for older children), then we admired the horses, the donkeys and the ducks. The day was gray with gusts of wind and rain so we did not manage to stay long, but we plan to go back and enjoy more of the place. I truly hope to get the chance to see the surrealism exhibition. We took bus 34 to the terminus station then we walked (a huge thank you to the STIB driver who told us how to get there), but Rouge Cloitre is accessible by car and it also has a Villo! station. Kudos for the bright idea!

Great place where to breath history and have a drink in open air. I know there are also artistic initiatives, but I was there in the evening and could not access them.

Nice surrounding. Service at the cafeteria can be way improved by many solutions. I.e. offering a bar outside with a fridge to get our own cold refreshment rather than having to wait 20'-30' for simple drinks to be ordered then 15'-20' more to receive them. Snacks not served later in the evening. The manager might like to think about upgrading services 1-2 times a week to include staying open until much later with some live music and other food options with a supplement.

The Priory has been completely renovated and is now open for exhibitions and other events. After many years of political battles, finally 'Rouge Cloître' has been restored to its former glory by the Auderghem Commune and the Brussels Region.

Beautiful place on the edge of the Sonian woods. Great for families with children. Lots of space, there are some animals as well (horses, donkey, chicken etc) and great playgrounds!

Some green with a nice abbey in Brussels. There is now an eatery outside so there's some good food and drinks to be had.

Beautiful nature reserve and old monastery to escape from the city, close to public transport. 2-3 big kids playgrounds available, farm animals to see, great for a picnic.

Beautiful area for a light hike. It can be difficult to find the entrances. I would avoid parking onsite as it's usually quite busy, but there is plenty of street parking if you're willing to walk a few minutes.

A great place to visit with or without kids. Exceptional surroundings. You feel like you’re in the countryside when in fact you’re just a jump away from downtown Brussels.

Amazing spot in east Brussels that is extremely well maintained. Great spot for kids with two big players areas and a wonderful terrace with great food and drinks. One of the prettiest locations in Brussels.

Without the shadow of a doubt one of the best parks of Brussels!! Walking there is just amazing with all those lakes and colours, it is also the perfect place for a picnic. The quietness outside the busy city is very relaxing and there are so many paths to change every time you go there. I highly recommend it if you love nature!
