A nice historic park, full of plenty of play areas. Has a few eateries inside. The sculptures placed inside are really beautiful. It also has a small menagerie with a few domestic animals. Good running trails with different gradients to choose from.

I really like this park! It's big enough for a proper walk/jog, there are little lakes, there are donkeys, and there is a big field with nice view where to sit and picnic

A very beautiful and peaceful park in Brussels, it feels like you’re completely outside the city in a forest somewhere in the nature! It’s an amazing place to read, walk, play your dogs or even to do a quiet picnic!

You can spend half a day here. Lot of long walking tracks. You can go with kids stroller but keep in mind it is parc surface not flat (Slant highs or lows, so if you have big kid you gonna burn lot of calories 😂). Google maps does not show accurate walking tracks. Good amount of trees, you can take rest and see. Enjoy the time!

Best for a family to spend a day. Take a football and play with your kids. There are so many nice backgrounds and areas to do photoshoots. There are few farm animals and ducks. Kids will just love the place.

Beautiful park - very restful in the middle of a busy, noisy city. Seems to have taken a bit of a battering in these recent high winds and thunderstorms - but it's well looked after so order will be resumed very soon I'm sure. Some pics from November.

A beautiful park in the neighbourhood. Very nice for a walk along with your friends or pets. It's well maintained and still has that close to the nature touch. A perfect picnic spot during summers 🙂

Very beautiful park in the centre of Brussels city. You can take Tram 7 and get down at Chezal Tram Station. Walkable distance from Chezal Tram Station. There are 2 very nice restaurants (cafe) inside this park where you can enjoy hot coffee , fresh Juices , chilled beers , bakery items etc. Attaching few beautiful pics of this park.

Josaphat Park in Brussels is a hidden oasis that pleasantly surprises with its tranquility and greenery. The well-maintained paths, serene ponds, and diverse flora make it an ideal escape from the urban hustle. The playgrounds and open spaces cater to families, offering a relaxed environment for picnics or leisurely strolls. The park's historical elements, like the charming bridge and statues, add a touch of character. While some areas might benefit from additional maintenance, the overall cleanliness and accessibility make it a welcoming spot for both locals and visitors. The variety of landscapes, from wooded areas to open lawns, provides a refreshing escape. Josaphat Park is a delightful retreat, deserving of four stars for its peaceful ambiance and natural beauty within the heart of Brussels.

Honestly it's the best and the most amazing park in Brussels, I personally like the style and planting theme. You can see animals and birds in some parts. Play ground for kids, cycling road. A nice small lake in the middle. It's quite big and very pleasant for running. I recommend it to people in the neighborhood and Brussels citizens.

A beautiful & large park in the middle of urban surroundings , it gives an easy escape from concrete jungle. It has ponds , some animals / birds like goats , horses , hens, geese, ducks to entertain toddlers . Very good running & walking tracks . Large spread lawns to relax or have picnic. Also has couple of nice cafes. It has flat as well as mild uphill routes and you can choose your own course to walk . During summer , fountains are switched on. Big trees creates shade to do activities . Nice benches let you relax well. The park maintenance and security officials are always taking a stroll creating a cleaner & secured environment.

One of the most beautiful park of Brussels. Even if not in square, it looks like a thiny Central Park where lots of European workers jog every morning.

I absolutely love this park in Brussels! It's incredibly beautiful with its serene ponds and lush trees, creating a picturesque environment. The park offers multiple parking options, making it convenient for visitors. One of the best things about this park is how kid-friendly it is; children simply adore coming here to play and explore. Moreover, it's easily accessible by public transport, adding to its convenience. Overall, this park is a fantastic place to spend time outdoors, whether you're going for a leisurely stroll or enjoying a fun-filled day with your family.

It's a valid alternative to the 50naire. Trees and little lake, farm, playground or even big space for kids to run all around. Mind that you can't ride your bicycle in the park. Why? no idea.. it's the only park with this rule.

One of the best parks in Brussels. Very lively over the weekends, with bars and small restaurants for snacks and cold drinks. Perfect for running as well.

It's a beautiful park. It has lots of space to chill and do some running, walking and other sports. You can also come to see ducks, donkeys, fishs and other animals in the fenced area, I also saw some cute rabbits and birds while walking. Mostly quiet and beautiful.

The best park in Brussels on my humble opinion. It has diversity: open spaces for kids to play, great green area, beautiful cherry trees, lakes, benches on the tree's shadows, nice running paths inside "forest" and outside, great place to walk the dog, small covered area for concerts or work out, few open space work out spaces, a nice restaurant with live concert, some public events during summer time, many animals: ducks, swans, birds, a dunkey, many rabbits. All in all, I love going there!

Very nice park in Brussels, nice to have a break and enjoy a good book. Not my favourite park though but definitely worth a stop as there's many other things around to do.

A very beautiful and spacious park. We lounges in the sun whilst a percussion group practiced at the bandstand. There's a great coffee shop / bar that sold us some delicious cold takeaway beers.

To me the most beautiful park. Big enough but with a cosy atmosphere. Variety with spaces by the water, benches, hills with aview... park to take a walk, a coffee, grab a bite and meet people.

Rated by my kids and me as one of the best parks anywhere. Lovely mix of trees, (including some to climb!) lawns, there is a stream ponds, a cafe, sports facilities at one end. A great place to lose yourself for a few hours.

Wonderful well laid-out park, suitable for an afternoon stroll, morning run or romantic early evening walk with your loved one. Big enough for kids to run around and not be in people's way. Beautiful views on Schaarbeek and across town

Favourite park in Brussels. It has everything for the families: a lake, 3 restaurants/cafés/bars, some animals to pet, 3 playgrounds and lots of little hiking opportunities. There are always activities happening at the park. Lots of areas for picnics.
