I
greatly
admire
the
work
of
Victor
Horta,
so
visiting
the
museum
was
on
high
on
my
bucket
list.
The
building
is
well
maintained
and
a
gem
of
art
nouveau
architecture
and
more
importantly
the
contents
are
well
organised,
preserved
and
are
a
collection
from
different
owners
for
the
purpose
of
displaying
Horta's
work.
There
are
room
descriptors
and
pamphlets
available
in
French,
Dutch
and
English
to
help
explain
each
room
and
some
of
the
articles
within
it.
It
is
a
self-guided
tour,
though
there
is
a
set
route
and
the
museum
staff
will
ensure
you
follow
it
correctly,
mainly
to
manage
the
people
flow
during
covid
restrictions.
In
addition,
when
you
arrive
at
your
allotted
time,
just
wait
outside,
every
few
minutes
the
door
will
be
opened
to
allow
the
next
group
in.
See
the
queue
on
the
picture.
It
is
only
to
manage
numbers
in
the
museum,
though
information
about
this
outside
is
missing,
so
it
is
confusing.
It
also
means
your
visit
should
not
be
too
long.
I
was
disappointed
not
to
be
able
to
take
pictures,
but
I
have
to
respect
the
preservation
of
the
items.
These
were
the
reasons
for
not
giving
5
stars.
There
is
a
modest
shop
mainly
of
books
and
post
cards.
For
fans
of
art
nouveau
this
is
a
must
see.
