Located near the Hippodrome just south of Le Bois de la Cambre in La Forêt des Soignes, Les Enfants Noyés is a popular place for an afternoon or evening stroll anytime of the year. Don't be put off by the name! No children drowned in this pond! The name comes from a misspelling of a translation, if I remember correctly. La Forêt des Soignes is a must. If you live in Brussels or are visiting and haven't taken the time to walk, run, or bike its trails, you should. It's enormous and is connected to 4 different parks in and outside of Brussels. You can walk from Le Bois de la Cambre all the way to La Hulpe. Definitely one of my favorite places.
