The current structure was build in 1708 and is a prime example of Baroque architecture. The church is well kept and worth a visit for worship or to glance at the impressive preaching chair, the beautiful organ and an odd statue from 1625 of which it is believed it brings 'good luck' for gambling people and support for students taking exams.

The Notre Dame is beautiful. There's a lovely letter to the public in the back from the Bishop emphasizing the church is not a museum, but a living and active church. It was the perfect place to get away from the hectic pace outside, and pray and meditate. Everything was just magnificent.

I often stop here for spiritual offerings as it is right on Rue Neuve, the shopping area. It is always open. I believe behind the church (where you board bus 88), volunteers serve food and hot drinks to the needy. Sometimes, I happen to go in when a mass is being said. Np, you can still go say your prayers or light a candle for loved ones or as an intention. The church is clean and there’s always a quiet spot to reflect.

It is an active church for who wants to pray and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere inside. You can Always find the bishop when it’s open. Architecturally I love it, the roof is white and amazing. You can buy a post card and send it to whom you love.

A lovely organ concert can be enjoyed here for free every Monday at 12:45. The organ is accompanied by other instruments and singers with ethereal voices. Well worth a stopping in to listen.

This is a small church in the heart of old Brussels. If you're into the classical architecture, it may be nice to visit it, or just simply admire the façade.

Amazing and quite church for any one who would love to pray or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, open even during the pandemic. I don't think the church is being used as Museum, but the architecture inside and outside are amazing. It is also found in the center of the market area.

This is a very beautiful church located in the middle of nieuwstraat. The architecture is lovely. The church is historical but it is not very big. Indeed it is rather small compared to other famous churches around the world. On the inside it is pure and peaceful. It is usually not too busy on the inside 👍🏻 wich is great. There is also a beautifully decorated confessional on the inside ! Always nice to see historical buildings like this one so thumbs up 👍🏻

I arrived to this church by chance, while sightseeing Bx. I’m Bolivian, and when I saw my Virgen de Copacabana, my heart melted and eyes poured into tears. I now have an attachment to this lovely church. Also, it’s a great place to pray and think.

Great place to come in and have a seat when my feet are getting tired as a result of walking around the city. Would be better to have a washroom open to the visitors though in the spirit of serving mankind :)

Lovely church for a quiet prayer and confession if you want to. A great place for your soul to talk to Jesus in between shopping.

Nice looking church. Not as big as the other churches but very near the shopping street.

Haven't been inside but passed by it almost 2-3 days a week for the past few years and sat in front of it in a restaurants for lunches and coffee. Is an imposing, beautiful dated building, needing constant care and repairs. Good to cover in the tour-plan for church visitors. Is right on the shopping street and very easily reachable from the town centre, either by walk, local transport.

A nice church in the centre, but masses in English would be convenient.
