If you are on a stop over please don't let the reviews put you off. We stayed here 2nd and 3rd July 2017 and we visited Brussels in the day time. The friendly and the helpful tips we got during the reception and booking in enabled us to find the most wonderful places in Brussels that we did not know were there. The booking in was easy the staff were really good, some had better English than others but we were able to communicate. The bar was. Lean and they sold a variety of beers and soft drinks. There were a few play things for the kids. Trampoline and slide, not in the best condition but kids on site were using them. The facilities were adequate for a stopover but not as clean as I have seen on a site.

Reserved in advance, but was put at the back of the campground amongst a literal junk pile...There were other better spots open, but if they were all reserved before us, they should have had the decency to inform us of the condition of the pitch, then give us a choice to take it or move on. We definitely would have moved on had they not already taken our money in full. Also, this site is located near a major airport... large planes taking off nonstop. Go somewhere else to camp!

If you like planes flying above your head, then thats your Perfect Place to watch them fly past you with about 100 dezibels. Service was really great and it for loads of sitting options. :)

We only found out that the hot water wasn’t running after overhearing someone else. We would’ve found out from the manager otherwise which is very cheeky considering we’d already paid in full and hasn’t filled up the moho with water. The campsite itself is very rundown and has random rubbish laying around. The campsite isn’t very close to public transport so getting into the city isn’t the easiest. The bar was closed when we visited (late October). The planes overhead weren’t an issue for me and I’m a light sleeper but I can imagine they would be with windows open or in a tent.

This site is run down, dirty and neglected. There was not hot water available when we arrived. The toilets were dirty. The whole site is messy with trash every where.

I have been to many campsites in My thirty years of camping and I have seen some excellent, good, fair and bad ones. This was unfortunately one of the bad ones. What is amazing about this campsite is the HIGHTECH entrance gates but real amazement is the terrible state of the place. Roads/dirt tracks are full of potholes the camping pitches are unkempt grass pitches full of mole hills. The place look like an unfinished building site. The toilets are very basic and were not very clean but there was plenty of hot warter. No noise was noticed from the airport but with the wrong wind direction you could hear the ring road quite clearly. The club house was always closed. There are no shops nearby. There is a Carfour about 2km away so if you want fresh bread for the morning a bike is a must. The bus Station is next to the Carfour shop the metro about 3 km from the campsite. WIFI is offered but it is only available near the club house so if you wanted to use the internet and it is raining take a waterproof tablet or handy with you because there is no shelter. A Campsite in a posh area which is totally useless for visiting Brussels. Very little English spoken no German.

I stayed here for a week June 2018 despite what I read in some of the reviews, all true by the way, the site is actually pretty good. Its very close to Brussels and the rail network, supermarket is approx 2 km away. However if your looking for plush lawns amazing shower blocks and level pitches and English spoken staff then this is not the place for you. Its clean and tidy ish and can be a little noisey with air traffic as its quite close to the airport, however I had a great relaxing stay and would def recommend as a good stopover for Brussels.

WLAN gibt's gratis. Metro in 3 km Entfernung.

Good handy place for visit to Brussels. The people who work there part time are very helpful and friendly. As been said campsite is a little run down and facilities are adequate.

Perhaps the closest camping to Brussels. This is why we choose it. Facilities were OK but average. Clean and simple. But we did not expect more. The big disadvantage is air trafic just above this campsite - landing airplanes are very loud, such a noice can be heard all the night as the airport does not close for the night unfortunately ...

Fortunately the place was open and had availability. Unfortunately, the showers didn't work, we were told they didn't work but we were still charged full price 35 Euros a night. And the bar/restaurant is closed but not advertised that it is closed. Campground is rundown and toilets are dirty.

Positive: Clean, Cheap, Nice friendly owners, Westmalle beer at bar!! Negative: Completely out of their control but as others mention - unfortunately under flight path of BRU airport which is passenger by day, cargo by night. Bring your earplugs if in a tent.

(Translated by Google) The price is high for a very dilapidated campsite. Too bad the place is friendly and the volunteers who manage the place do their best, but we do not improvise camping manager and the alternation of volunteers does not simplify management, we feel a little the private club spirit with regulars. The pitches are very disparate and you can find yourself in a nice little quiet and shaded area like a concrete pitch in full sun. The toilets of 2013 have unfortunately badly aged and are poorly maintained. The lack of campsites in Brussels means that in summer they are all taken by storm and everyone turns to this small campsite which accepts just about anything and everything at any time (probably by will to satisfy as many customers as possible.) Finally icing on the cake and not the least which unfortunately makes my stay extremely unpleasant: The proximity of the airport where the planes come to land at very variable rates, from every two minutes to every hour, or nothing for several hours. But because the planes are very low, but really very low, sometimes add gas to land. Measured from my location 82dB.

Nice campground, if you don't mind the constant plane noice. Conveniently located outside the Brussels city area (if you have an older Diesel camper and cannot enter the city area). The campground is well maintained and the common areas and bathrooms are clean. However,it is in the landing area of Brussels Airport, you will have a plane going over your head every 2-3 minutes between 6am and 10pm

We stayed here in our camper for 2 nights, it's a small but friendly site with spacious pitches and an easily navigable layout. The facilities are clean and relatively modern, if a little small. There is a main clubhouse with a large, well-stocked bar - we didn't frequent, however, due to site being quiet at the time of our visit. Kraainem metro is just 3km away with ample parking if you elect to drive - we walked and it took 40mins. The metro is only 2euros a ticket into the centre so you can avoid the extortionate parking fares. It's a site run by members but the chap who checked us in was friendly and very helpful. Overall, it's a great location from which to strike out to Brussels city centre.

Camping located near Brussels Airport - flights landing/departure almost 5 min between. The showers dirty and no paper in the toilets. We were also located next besides the service area where all were doing their dishes...outside!! And kept this until very late at nights! There were no rules on what to do when etc. If we knew about this we would have not stayed there at all!

Good campsite for travellers passing through. The campsite is not in the best condition compared to others out there but choices are limited in Brussels. Quite a bike ride to the city centre but public transport is "fairly" nearby. Good internet access on site. Toilets are facilities are acceptable but certainly not 5 star. Childrens facilities are acceptable but nothing to rant home about. All in all suitable for a night or two but I did not get the feeling I would stay a while or the staff were not the friendliest.
