L'Auberge du Souverain

Hotel Indian restaurant

👍👍 Very good value indeed, and a pleasant experience: after an excellent Indian meal in the restaurant, we found the 2nd floor room - accessible by lift - fairly small, with a very wide and comfortable double bed and a spotless, well equipped bathroom. The breakfast offered a copious variety of things... People often mention good, hotel, restaurant, room, nice, clean,

Very good value indeed, and a pleasant experience: after an excellent Indian meal in the restaurant, we found the 2nd floor room - accessible by lift - fairly small, with a very wide and comfortable double bed and a spotless, well equipped bathroom. The breakfast offered a copious variety of things to eat and drink and we were welcomed by the delightful lady in attendance. We shall certainly return.

The rooms very very spacious with good facilities. It had an Indian restaurant right underneath and they offered to cook me some really good Indian food after midnight ( the kitchen was closed but they opened it just for me, was a little expensive though)

We really enjoyed this place. At first, the room, smelled like cigar smoke, which was better than the cigarette smoke we encountered at the previous hotel the night before. The people that greeted us were very, very hospitable. We had no idea we were walking into an east Indian hotel & we were really happy with everything upon arrival. We were told that there would be breakfast in the morning but there was none. If you get a chance to stay here, you should.

Not a good experience. Slightly better than a hostel in that you have privacy. Do not .. repeat.. DO NOT buy the breakfast. Housekeeping regularly took my soap and did not provide more. They offer two bottles of water/day. I had the same two bottles for 6 days. No floor mat for shower for half the time. Last day/night no bed turndown, no fresh towels. Only consolation is it is relatively inexpensive.

The owner lady was friendly and welcoming and happily spoke English to us. The assistant helped carry our suitcases up the stairs which was unexpected and very much appreciated. The Wi-Fi was a bit patchy. We stayed 2 nights and didn't receive maid service unfortunately. We had dinner at the restaurant one night which was expensive but tasted good. The 2nd night we walked 5 minutes through the nice park with ducjs and a pond in it to buy some easy food from the express shop and ate it in the park. It was easy to get into the city via the 95 bus. We got on at it's 1st stop at the roundabout. It cost €2.50 per adult and terminates at grand place. Parking was free although it was a bit strange due to the road works at the time. We did this all with a 3 year old and a 1 year old and we all fitted in the room fine and mostly enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was nice and so was the food has a range of spicy and mild food. People there were really helpful and helped us with our journey around Brussels (directions). And all of this was for a cheap price too.

This hotel is a good hotel in the neighborhood in f Bosvoort. You can walk in 15min from Bosvoort station or take the streetcar which runs very frequently. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The hotel doesn't got much rooms, and is cosy. I stayed in one of the bigger suits which is not that expensive. It is not modern but good and clean. The beds are bit hard but that is ok for me. The bathrooms are clean and the shower is good. This hotel is worth the price you pay for it.

Reception looks like an abandonded house. The halls are narrow and dirty with missing paint and flickering lights. The rooms (junior suite) look nice enough, but once you get settled you find problems such as: NO HOT WATER! The airco does not work. The room stinks from the indian food restaurant downstairs. Noise from the kitchen can be heard after 12 midnight. No iron in room or available from "reception". Noise from roads outside. No comforter, only woolen blankets. Positives...nearby a nice forest, good internet connection. However, I would never stay here again!

A nice hotel, you get what you paid for. The only negative thing was that the carbet in the room was little stinky that you can smell it when you go in and out

Great hotel at the outskirts of Brussels. Offers comparatively cheap nights with really good and clean rooms. Comes very highly recommended.
