Nice hotel very close to the airport. Most convenient service is the free shuttle to the airport. Pretty punctual. Room was clean and good sized.Clean rooms, tidy and very efficient service from the staff.Complimentary drinks available in your room and a bottle of water only for 1st day then they don't provided that. Recently I have stayed more than 12 days. Good things is 1) Located near Airport, also located near Zaventem village, so you can feel the Beauty of Belgium 2)Plenty of choices at the breakfast buffet, Nice bar and professional team 3)They also have meeting rooms and gym, which I haven't try 4)Food option for dinner also good They could improve there complementary offer at the room: there is some tea available with a boiler, but not a free bottle of water, which I would have appreciated being Summer.

My experience at the Novotel Brussels Airport was fine until around 1:30AM. I had an early flight to catch and had my alarm set for 5:30AM. I was fast asleep in my bed, when I was startled awake by a blaring fire alarm directly outside of my door. Half-asleep, half-dressed, I hurried downstairs, as I thought there was an emergency. The hotel receptionist was in a frenzied state of chaos. Apparently there was no emergency, but she nor her colleague could figure out who or what was setting off the fire alarm or how to turn it off. She spoke in a rude and uncaring tone towards myself and the other hotel guests that had gathered in the lobby. The alarm continued to blare until 2:45AM. All hope of a good night’s sleep was gone. At around 2:30AM, I went back downstairs to see if anything was being done to stop the alarm. The other hotel employee said that they were still trying to solve the problem and that they were unable to get in contact with the hotel manager. This was shocking - what if this was a real emergency? Why was the hotel manager unreachable? We could’ve been burnt to a crisp. Later that day, I emailed the hotel to ask for a refund. I managed to negotiate a partial refund with the front office manager, Mr. Herremans. However, after a few back and forth emails, my emails to him started bouncing back. Pretty convenient, right? It has been nearly 3 weeks since my stay at the Novotel and I am still waiting for a refund and any sort of communication from the hotel. This is unacceptable and no way to treat your guests.

Would. Not. Recommend. We stayed here before leaving to the airport at 4am. To start- my boyfriend and his ten year old daughter were sharing a room. We are always sure to lock the deadbolt out of habit. At 23:30pm we were awoken to a man entering our room. It was a guest who was given the wrong key card. THE DEADBOLT UNLOCKS WHEN A KEY IS USED. Absolutely unacceptable level of security. When I gathered myself enough to go talk to the front desk - he offered a beverage for the “inconvenience” , or to move to a different room (we had less than 5 hours before we had to check out at this point- and weren’t about to move all of our things). They were not able to accommodate a refund/credit and I have not heard from management. Secondly, the water temperature gauge was broken so the water would continue to get to scalding unless it was held (impossible to comfortably shower). Third, the staff at check in (separate from the less than empathetic man who had to handle my fury of being awoken) were very rude and seemed bothered by questions. Last- the restaurant/bar options are closed due to Covid. And there are little options available in lieu of this. We arrived starving, and nearly all the restaurants nearby are closed from 14:00-17:30

Good value for money and close to the airport. Note that the free airport shuttle doesn’t run early in the morning and only starts at 0600 during ‘winter’ months. Outside of normal hours, you will be responsible for your own arrangement (including cost). Friendly and accommodating staff, but some don’t speak the local language, which is a missed opportunity.

This place could use an update, feels like things hasn't changed since 20 years or so. Though the rooms were clean and that was actually all we needed for this overnight before taking it flight the next morning. In the evening we ate dinner, the food was okay but you could see that they were understaffed. Didn't use the breakfast because of the early flight.

Hotel very close to the airport. Spent the night here before heading on our flight. Hotel staff is friendly. I booked the park and fly offer which allows you to keep your car parked at their parking lot during your trip which makes it financially very interesting. Do beware though that you will need to book the stay and fly rate for this which is listed under the special packages section of the Novotel website. I accidently booked the sleep and park ride offer instead which also offered breakfast but this rate only includes parking during your stay at the hotel. It's very confusing but luckily it was noticed when I checked in online the day before and I was notified by the hotel staff and could still drop the breakfast in favor of the parking offer. Free airport shuttle is very convenient. Hotel is lively. Rooms are fine. Loved the premium shower gels and welcome gifts. Few basic playground items for kids outside, soccer table and electric table game inside. No noise from the airport whatsoever. Would choose again when flying out of Zaventhem.

Great shuttle bus from the airport, very convenient. I stayed for 1 night and particularly enjoyed the food in the restaurant. I had a very tasty steak with Belgian chips. It took me a while at breakfast to find the butter as it was wrapped like a sweet / bonbon. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing I had thought they had was a pool. I booked via a work portal and there it said there was a pool. When I asked the reception desk where the pool was she said that they had a pool 20 years ago ( outdoors). Definately good choice if you want comfort and service & convenience a short distance from the airport

The hotel has decent accommodations including a small selection from their kitchen and a bar. The room was clean, had toiletries stocked and towels. Overall the stay was alright. My reasoning for the one star is I was charged double for my stay. Instead of being around €200 I was billed for €400. I am waiting to hear back via email from the hotel. Update 10/21/2021: The €400 original charge has been changed to €200 upon checking my banking statement one day later.

Hotel was fine for an airport location. Free hotel shuttle was nice. Server at the restaurant was rude. However, the cheeseburger was Top Twenty in my life. Fresh baked bun, hand formed seasoned beef, bacon, grilled onions... Don't stay at this hotel without ordering the cheeseburger.

A hotel lacking character, situated in a remote location. A few of the staff members were polite, however the rest were rude. We were specifically told that breakfast was included in our stay, otherwise we wouldn't have eaten it... We were then charged almost €200 upon checkout. The breakfast was absolutely vile and made my elderly father sick. We entered this establishment with happy and good intentions... And left feeling completely robbed.

We needed a location close to the airport and this was a nice location. Clean rooms, good restaurant and shuttle service to the airport.

Had 2 rooms,1 double, 1 for single - not ready. Not only one. Part of coach party. Restaurant short staff, some customers walked out as long wait to be served. Bar closed. Restaurant staff also dealt with drinks for Restaurant.

Great location near the airport. Easy access with the free shuttle to catch my flight. Definitely will stay here again .

Tried to book and simply called to ask if there is an airport shuttle bus. After 3 tries at the reception, a person takes up. And slams the hook again before I can pose the question. Reservations does also not answer the phone. Forget it: you don't get my business: other hotel!

Location is perfect, 5mins from BRU airport, ideal if you land late or have an early morning flight. Rooms are not aligned with the price paid, could be better. Staff is very professional and absolutely helpful. The brasserie within the hotel could definitely be much better. Food choice is limited and if you happen to arrive at 21:30 like I did you can only order a pizza or a sandwich or a couple of side dishes. Improvements needed

Convenient location (5mn from the airport), good shuttle service to/from the airport (1 bus every 20-30 mn), friendly staff

I've stayed there a lot of times and the hotel does what a airport hotel is supposed to do. Good enough room, with good space, and having the free shuttle was one of the features that made me book it compared to for example NH which has a similar price point. The problem is the service. While the people at the desk are very nice and helpful, some people at the restaurant and bar are simply rude. If people don't like serving customers they shouldn't be working in a hotel. A real shame because the cheeseburger is excellent and another of the reasons for me to stay there. The rudeness of the restaurant staff broke me, and i'll not be staying there in the future.

Room still had left over stuff from previous person. Paint peeling off the walls, broken wall sockets and air conditioning so loud and barely worked. Also it look like mould in the kettle. Requested stuff through the app and it never came The buffet breakfast, Frequency of transport to airport and closeness to airport only saving graces

Convenient for 1 night stay with regular shuttle service to the airport only 5 minutes away. Friendly check in staff. Clean and comfortable room. The bar was closed so I asked where I could get a drink and was told to sit at a desk used to charge computers and it would be brought to me. Decided not to have a drink.

Hotel is nearby the airport for early flights with a free shuttle that passes every 30 mins. I was happy with the service we have received for our late check-in. It was done smoothly. Our stay was only for one night due to our morning flight, therefore we didn’t take additional breakfast service. Overall, nearby hotel, friendly staff, easy and quick check-in.

My best choice for the airport stop before my flight departure, was welcomed by a very assisting receptionist ,quick check in and a special place for keeping my bike. Next day shuttle bus to the airport was on time, a very helpful driver made it so easy.

It's an airport hotel, so judge and expect accordingly. It's also not a luxury hotel. The hotel does what it needs to do. Provide basic rooms and amenities for travelers who are here not because of the great views and close vicinity to fun restaurant and bars. That being said, the rooms were perfect and the service helpful, but the breakfast is too basic and lacks fresh foods and fruits, but still enough to have a good breakfast worth your money. The dinner options are in my opinion way to overpriced. If you have the time take a taxi and find a nicer place in the area or Brussels.

This hotel is extremely practical. I would like to note that their staff and front disk is super helpful. Obviously, I stay here because of work. I noticed this time that the room has been renovated which was nice. The area (Zaventem) is not vibrant at all. I really wish if the hotel has simple restaurant/bar, it will help a lot. Also, the iron I used was not the best. However, it is still my favorite hotel in the area without a doubt

hotel close to the airport! The convenient location made it easy for me to catch my early morning flight. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a good night's sleep. The added bonus of a pool allowed me to relax and unwind after a long day of travel. The friendly staff and efficient service made it a hassle-free stay.

The receptionist guy doesn't know the basics of customer service skills... I have a gold All Accor membership, and always go with Hilton, and I booked one night in Novotel Brussels airport hotel during my transit, but it was a very bad experience. Not recommended at all

The location was perfect for early flights since the airport is 5 minutes away. Main room is well designed and clean, as well the bathroom too with a free gym to add on.

Simple booking process via booking . com, with good confirmation communication. Accessible from Brussels Airport via shuttlebus, 5mins journey, every 30mins. Good service, rooms, food - no complaints. Dropped one star as the shuttlebus stop at the airport isn't adequately signposted.

Nice hotel was there June 2021 during covid was well managed with lots of sanitation stations and clear distancing markings. Thanks for having us during tough times. Nice and comfortable as expected from Novotel. Attached to the airport it is very convenient.

The worst experience among all Accor hotels that we stayed at. We booked with the Accor app to try something else than Booking for once and well, we should not have. Contrary to all other hotels, this one has no additional costs for parking in the app (implying that there are none) and yet we were forced to pay 12 euros for it. The service at the desk was unprofessional and impolite on top of it. The room looks nothing like in the app, too. The bath in the room was the only highlight but we are certainly not coming back.

Not impressed with the customer service or how expensive the parking was. They did help me call a cab. The room was fine. I won't stay here again

Stayed here as part of a group on a coaching holiday. Rooms very clean with all the facilities needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Restuarant has basic but good meals for the evening and there was a good range of items for breakfast aswell. All in all a pleasant stay.

Conveniently located close to the airport. We had a night sleep after a late night flight. Rooms are a bit outdated, cleanliness ok. Bathroom without any air ventilation, so it was damp and hot after we all had a shower. Breakfast good, and available until 11 is a plus.

We had thee rooms here on the 20th Auguust. All the rooms were clean, but one of the rooms was a bit smelly, opening the window sorted it, but a bit surprised that it hadn't been noticed before. There was a buffet that evening, which was based on staff recipes, which would be fine, but there were no labels to tell anybody what was what, which meant it was a lucky dip as to if you got something that you liked. Hotel is close and convenient for the airport, so it's great if you are travelling but as such there is nothing in the immediate area to do. While there was nothing that was a show stopper, I wouldn't want to stop here for more than one night and it wasn't a particularly relaxing hotel.

This hotel NOT suitable for anybody who is disabled. The entrance has about 12 large steps to the entrance but no hand rails, either side of entrance two very step inclines it would be very difficult for anybody to push a wheelchair up. The disabled parking places are on places where you would have use either of these ways to enter hotel I stayed one night l am disabled and was given a room which it took me almost 15 mins to walk to with my assistance dog Rupert because it was down two very long corridors.Sinday morning no bread at breakfast.Asked to speak with manager was told by reception staff management do not work weekends, l was given general managers business card and told to contact him but he's on holiday until June!I will contact him in June and see what he has to say. I did ask reception about rules and laws In Belgium for helping us old disabled "pests" and was told "l think we have some but do not know who is responsible for them in the home" Best advice danger zone stay at own risk.

The hotel is more or less a hotel for guests who have to catch a flight, early the morning. The rooms are functional and have an effective AC. The service is really nice. The hotel's restaurant was a surprise. Decent food and the staff, did the little extra to help out customers who arrived late, even if the kitchen was closed.

This was the perfect spot to catch an early flight to the airport. Comfortable beds, restaurant AND bar and even some extra activities like a foosball table in case you have some extra time to kill. The free shuttle at 6am was perfect for us!

This hotel has friendly staff. The facilities are very basic and the gym is very small. I feel like for the money they are charging - the value proposition does not equate. I just feel like we are being fleeced because of how close the hotel is to the multinationals & the airport. I feel like they should upgrade their facilities, add a steam & sauna & spa and bigger gym.

Nice hotel located about 30mins walk from the airport. There is a footpath all the way or a shuttle bus should you not wish to walk. Hotel rooms were reasonably sized, with both bath and shower. Bed was comfortable although it creaked at bit. Rooms were quiet and clean. Visited the gym which was also quiet,. Tow treadmills, one cross trainer, one rowing machine , one excercise bike and a weight machine. Staff were helpful and there was a good variety for breakfast. I can't fault this hotel. It's nothing amazing but nice quiet and close to the airport. I would stay here again.
