Nice and comfortable hotel. We stayed for one night with our son and it was quiet with all necessary facilities. Only sad we were waken at 5AM by a drunk guy trying to force the door. Reception came for help but a sorry would have been appreciated.

Great hotel with large clean quiet rooms. Nice decoration, great bar and friendly waiters. The breakfast is amazing, large choice and good quality....just expensive. Location is 30 Min from the centre and you can access different areas of Brussels.

Quiet, light and very clean hotel. Very nice staff. Great value for price. Lots of fresh fruits for breakfast and complementary water bottles at your disposal. Highly recommend!

Room was great, sleeping fantastic. Personnel kind and competent. Breakfast absolutely appropriate for taste, food selection and service. If I have to say one thing, I found the Lagavulin's price a tad high at the bar for the glass. I'll be back!!

Great location and very friendly helpful staff. Joseph was an outstanding employee and made our trip extra special! His personality is energetic and welcoming for a bunch of Americans in a foreign country!

Clean rooms, polite and efficient service, location within walkable distance from the EU institutions and even the train station. The business area is well suited for business events and the internal yard is great for freah air. Food is great but at a premium price.

Stayed here twice now for Tomorrowland global journey package. The hotel is as great as first time. Complimentary waters or Red Bull or discounted food for skipping room service. Clean rooms. Breakfast has a large selection. I think their bacon is some of the best! I would not hesitate to stay there again when in Brussels.

Pros: great rooms, clean, very good breakfast, nice staff. Cons: located around 20 minutes walk from central locations. Note: I had the misfortune to test positive for Covid right after I checked in and had to stay in my rooms for a few days. The staff were kind enough to bring anything I ordered from UberEats up to my room. However, they didn't really give me any information except "stay in your room until you're negative", and getting a hold of reception was very hard, not a fun situation to be in when you're sick and stranded in a foreign country.

I can't speak highly enough about this hotel. It's relatively new so the rooms are all new and very clean. The staff was some of the most accommodating that I've experienced! They helped me on multiple occasions (to get restaurant reservation, directions, etc). Also, take my advice and have breakfast in the hotel; the buffet is possibly the best I've seen in any hotel! 24 hour room service with delicious options. There's also a great gym and sauna. The only thing I would say is that the location is a tiny bit off the beaten path, but the subway is immediately next to the hotel.

Big, clean and silent rooms, superb breakfast with orange juice and many sweet or salty options. Metro station at 70 meters, train station from the airport in 300 meters. Very convenient at week end!

Excellent hotel close to the EU quarter. Skilled and helpful staff, quick check in/check out, clean and spacy room with a good bed, peaceful and quiet in the evening. They serve tasty breakfast, and have an affable bar with good selection of drinks and snacks, which comes handy after a day filled with meetings. This is the third time I stayed here during a business trip. Would certainly consider it for a private stay.

Didn’t plan to stay here, Holiday Inn cancelled owing to not having a fire certificate the day before we were due to stay. Not in a great location for restaurants or bars and too far from the centre of Brussels to walk. Housekeeping didn’t make up/clean the room and it was too hot. Air conditioning still on winter setting so impossible to get cool. I informed the front desk when I left. Also nearest Metro station hideous, people openly smoking heroin on the stairs.

Probably one of the best hotels in Brussels. Hotel is in a quiet location, short walk to the center. Interior is of high quality, maybe a little too kitschy, but the chosen retro style is solid and tastefully executed. Rooms are perfectly equipped, everything the guests could need is provided. Breakfast is sparse, but of high quality. The service is pleasant and helpful. Hope to visit again soon.

This is a very nice hotel in Brussels right near the zoo. The hotel is beautiful. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is posh. The air conditioning sucks, so open your windows and wear some ear plugs. Other than that...wonderful place.

Very nice hotel and staff. Room was clean. Good breakfast. During the week-end, it is very calm. Do not miss the European Commission nearby and le Parc du Centenaire.

Great hotel, surpassed our expectations. Very helpful staff, gave us recommendations, accommodated our leaving our bags there, gave us water bottles for the train trip back to London.

I knew the Thon network hotels but this time I stayed for the first time in the Thon Hotel EU, on Rue de la Loi. The hotel is amazing. Very clean, with very good linen, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. It is impossible not to find something for you: salmon, smoked fish, pancakes made on the spot, eggs, beans, bacon, fruit, bread, 2-course omelets plus fried eggs, yogurt, cottage cheese, soy milk, carrots and tomatoes juice etc. Also, the bar is friendly and you have a good restaurant even on Sunday evening. Also the conference rooms are spacious with a lot of facilities and with natural lights and large windows.

The room was really big, clean, and impressive. On the first night there was a lot of noise from the street, so they moved me to a different room. The service was good. I didn't eat at the restaurant, as it was expensive compares to other options around. It is easy to arrive from the airport, and it is around 20 mins (walking) from the center. There is a nice park near the hotel.

Loved staying here and would surely return. The location is just perfect for many of the sites we wanted to visit, very close to metro and bus stations and there is a coffee shop in the same road with the most amazing coffee and croissants I've had in a long while! Thank you for a memorable stay!

My husband and I stayed here for the first leg of our honeymoon, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is quietly placed in an elegant old building with beautiful courtyard, near but not directly in the busiest parts of town; we are avid walkers and were able to journey everywhere we wanted to within about 25mins by foot. The rooms were beautiful, lovely amenities including excellent laundry service, in grand old style. Service was also absolutely impeccable, including when we needed them to find me a doctor who made house-calls; they took exquisite care of us the entire time, and provided a peaceful and gracious retreat at the end of each day. This will be our go-to for all future visits to Brussels.

Even though I live in Brussels, this hotel would be worth a stay-at-home citytrip! I actually was recommended to visit the Stanhope Hotel to see some of their hotel fittings by a supplier, so I was not even a guest, but both the reception staff and the manager were extremely friendly and helpful (and the rooms as pristine as in the website photos). Thank you Mr Michiels and staff for your welcome and time.

Lovely and helpful staff, they went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible during the covid19 crisis ...the bar and buffet was closed, so i had an amazing breakfast brought to my room. THANK YOU!!

Nice hotel with very friendly staff, just a shame that their "ecofriendliness" is pure greenwashing. Latest episode in this trend: the streets of Brussels are littered with their ads on plastic bike seat covers. I will take my visitor groups elsewhere from now on.

Really rude staff overall. Very rude Flemish management Overpriced breakfast. Asian looking woman is a chef cook there. Not only rude but cooks very bad and poisonous food. All is undercooked. Nothing is fresh. Canned fruits and vegetables from the cheapest toxic suppliers. Easy to catch sick stomach or a virus. Poor air conditioning. It is noisy and hot as hell.

Fantastic stay for our anniversary. Slept well in the room which was well air conditioned and immaculate. The breakfast was amazing and a nice touch with the fresh honeycomb straight from the hive. The staff were so friendly and very helpful with all our questions about travel ect. 5 star stay at this 5 star hotel

An outstanding stylish hotel. The many different rooms and suites and apartments are spacious and luxurious – up to extremely luxurious. In the lobby there is a very cozy bar and a lounge with view over the garden terrace. A garden terrace where it is very nice to have a drink or lunch/dinner in summer. Very nice restaurant. Good service. Friendly and helpful staff.

Quirky and fun, posh but laid back. Great customer service and clean, tidy rooms. The gym is a little small but serviceable. Books seem to be a major theme here.

Had a meeting in one of the meeting rooms just today. The meeting rooms are very comfortable and spacious with an excellent acoustic. The lunch that was served was delicious with a variety of sandwiches, pasta, salads. And in the afternoon break cheese, chocolate and different pastries were offered. Looking forward to attend the next meeting there!

Price is high but this time service was very low. In my room in the hotel with 4,5 stars there was no hot water and nothing was done within 2 days. I just heard sorry. In normal world if service can't be assured the price is reduced.

Worst place I ever stayed and I used to stay in cheap hostel during the pandemic, but this hotel is worst, during booking they put information that is not provided over you get the room, which not even have a basic accommodation standard, for instance the TV is not centralized to the room, so it's very uncomfortable to see it from the bed. The toilet have an inefficient exhaust fan and the lights doesn't work all the times, have malfunction contact and the location is far from the center as it shows in their site.

What I liked: - Friendly staff - Private parking - nice room - good breakfast. We were given a discount which is a bonus - good amount of toiletries What I did not like: - Not much, but I can mention the paid parking

There is a metro station nearby, the rooms are comfortable and calm, the service is great, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast has a huge variety and is very delicious. I'd highly recommend the hotel.

No wonder the reviews are so good here. ..well deserved: I had to find a place quickly in Brussels. Fell upon this fine residence. Lucky me! What a charming, quiet, too comfortable hotel! The staff, especially Ad-ham (brilliantly accomodating) and Jozef (he speaks every language!), could not have been more accommodating and it is such a calm and relaxing hotel to stay in. The rooms are lovely and scrupulously clean. The service I found excellent, but the staff really made it great - and personal. This is a little secret in Brussels. A great, pleasant place to stay. It's really reasonably priced and there is even a pool table, ancient and playable. Bravo to you all for this little haven! You made it so charming and so easy.

We had our wedding reception yesterday at the hotel and it was a success. From our overnight stay up until the reception, it was great. All the staffs are helpful. They made our wedding truly unforgettable. The food is excellent. Hands down to Ms. Eline and Ms. Lavinia. Thank you Stanhope.

This is a five-star hotel, so high expectations are in order. And they fulfilled them very nicely. This is clearly English-themed, down to the names of the rooms and every detail in the decor. Beds were really comfortable, bathrooms were nice (separate WC, a nice touch), friendly and helpful staff, etc.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Stanhope Hotel Brussels by Thon Hotels, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby, I was greeted by a warm and professional staff that made me feel truly welcome. The rooms are tastefully decorated, combining classic charm with modern amenities. The attention to detail is exceptional, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The hotel's central location is perfect for exploring Brussels, with key attractions and public transportation within easy reach. The on-site restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience, showcasing the best of Belgian cuisine. What truly sets Stanhope apart is the exceptional level of service—attentive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. I highly recommend Stanhope Hotel Brussels for a luxurious and memorable stay. It's a gem in the heart of Brussels.
