I would like to thank the team who worked at the bar over the weekend (Momo & Elioth)! It was made unforgettable by a professional cheerful team. Thank you very much. Thanks to Guelly at the front desk for trying to help us with all our problems. The hotel is well located for public transport. A few words about the room. There is a window but it cannot be opened. Although it had an air conditioner, it did not work properly. So there was no air in the room. We had to sleep with the door open. Bed linen was stained and not clean. Furniture was torn down, broken. Bathroom in similar condition. Breakfast was cold, scrambled eggs probably weren't good because we all had 4 stomach cramps during the day. This accommodation is less than four stars.

Staff members are really bad. I had 1 problem after another... Firstly I've booked a studio and found out they gave my room to my colleague. They gave me a twin beds rooms while I booked a large bad studio. I went to reception to ask a new room and to climb on foot 4 floors (elevetor broken) to find out there was someone naked in the room and I rialized he was my boss, I let you imagine the akword moment... 4 stairs down to reception for another room and up again to a twin beds room funny enough I ask again a large bed room and I'm given a room with someone else inside.... I tell reception to find me a room and check it before giving me the key at the restaurant. They come after 2h and once I go to the room I see 3 single beds. Fed up I don't ask anymore for a change and I cancel the following week reservation and so they do my 4 colleagues. Restaurant has also been an "experience" 40 minutes to have a beer wrongly poored (more foam than beer) in wrong wine glasses, used salt bags, cooked carpaccio, old bread for a burger that should have had bacon but didn't... I will never step into an expensive hotel like ramada that is not even worth half the price they charge!

Real review- I am resident of Berlin city. So here i am writing a honest Review. Few weeks back, I booked a room with kitchen and I went with my family. When we saw the room, we felt that i got cheated. Yes, Worst Hotel i have ever seen in my whole travelling life. Stinky rooms and beds, foul smell in washroom, and most disgusting torned sofa and chairs which was turned out by previous customers. I was surprised how the staff misbehaved and hospitality was just gross. They charged extra money even they had put the price list as well. Worst experience of my travel life. I suggest everyone do not waste your hard-earned money on this hotel. Thanks Worstttt.....

Had a horrible experience, pretty sure staffs were just racist. They only gave one key card for one room, even if we have 2 persons staying in a room. When we asked for another card, they rejected our request. Not to mention they charge 5 euros for a horrible Wi-Fi which is as slow as a sloth. No kettle, no refrigerator, no complimentary water bottle, nothing. They even had a time slot for us to eat our breakfast from 7:45am-8:30am. We were so shocked and asked nicely why is there a time slot? Most hotels have breakfast buffet which is open from 6am-10am so we can just go at anytime we want. Instead they snickered at us and said that’s impossible. We tried changing the time slot but they rejected our request as well. The room that my friend was staying in, the door knob was broken. He couldn’t lock the door so he told the receptionist. The receptionist was a woman and she was very rude and seemed to be impatient. She went to his room and was pushing and pulling the doorknob roughly and was teaching my friend how to lock one as if he doesn’t know how to. It turned out that the doorknob was really broken so she was ashamed after that. My other friend on the otherhand, didn’t have the remote for the heater in her room. She went to the receptionist and asked for the remote. The receptionist angrily brought the remote for her and she turned the room heater for my friend impatiently. She then said “There, it’s switched on now. Do not touch the remote. Just leave it there. Do not touch at all.” We had dinner there as well and when the waiter was serving our food, we asked him what was it as we were a huge group so we wanted to know what were they serving so we can give it to the person who ordered it. But, the waiter was so rude that he told us that he doesn’t know. Ask our tour leader, we should know what we ordered. Like, we just want to know what you’re holding so we can give it to the person who ordered? May I ask what service is this? I’m a customer, I paid for your service. No one deserves to be treated in this way. Thanks for the hospitality and you’ll never see me again

We had a booking from an external supplier which was paid and confirmed in an email, unfortuantely the man at the reception could not find the booking in his system (ok not his fault) and said he cant give us a room when it is not in the system. We then contacted the customer support of the external supplier who could not find a problem with the booking and said he would like to contact the reception. The man at the reception said the phone is not working and only a manager is entitled to answer emails and as it is sunday evening no manager is here. This whole process took 1.5h so then we decided to stay in the Hilton Hotel in town. The man at the reception was absolutely not interested to help us (he only said we can book a new room which was 3 times the price what we already paid for the room) and was more busy talking on the phone or listening to music with his headphones in. Avoid this hotel!

Truly disappointing. This was a horrible hotel considering that it is 4 stars. Only one functioning electrical plug despite there only being 2 in the whole room. Tiny TV that does not even work. Service at the reception was not pleasant as well and did not provide help. Moreover, Wifi connection is peanuts. (Slow speeds, took forever to load social media like Instagram.) Additionally, shower door cannot be opened fully and have to squeeze in.

Nice hotel. the bathroom was spacious and everything was in order (towels, shower gel etc). The airconditioning worked fine and the coffee machine was available for a nice cup of coffee :) The beds were comfy. The overal structure of the bedroom was fine, although the lack of outlets near the bed and in the room itself was a bit of a letdown, but that didn’t disturb the overall experience.

The breakfast for tourist groups is awful. room-temperatured milk, juice, and water scrambled eggs with a little burning flavor ( You can have peanut butter with the eggs , the taste will turn down a bit. ) Not to mention the sausages ! It seems they are either overcooked somehow or being heated up for several times. Another strange thing is the cereal ( chocolate ) just all stick together , how long haven't the staffs checked 😭 👍 Please, just ask for the same price to tourist groups and individuals. I feel treated differently + I can see the food over the individual section looks better 😭 Comments not ended

Hotel Ramada is one of the best hotels I have ever been. I am shocked its rating is bellow 4 stars... The quality of the service, reception, the way they communicate with clients are just astonishing. I have been in many hotels, from Barcelona to Paris to Vienna to Budapest and many other cities, but so far, this is my favorite. Next time in Brussels, this will be my choice without a doubt ! Thank you for this wonderful weekend !

How can we best describe this hotel, below average. - Below average room: desk chair badly worn, heating not working. - Restaurant closed unexpected during diner time. - 24 Hours no internet. - 1 Evening no TV due to no internet. Meanwhile I'm asking 2 weeks to have the final bill and they do everything to avoid this. Long phone calls, hanging phone up etc.. The hotel and service providede is not inline with the continent it is in.

The rooms have a modern design and are clean (so the cleaning team seems to be doing their job well). But in all fairness I would not have thought this a 4* hotel and would not recommend this hotel if you have other options. The reasons are plenty: The service was close to unfriendly and didn't provide much support. During check-in I didn't receive any information about the breakfast, restaurant or bar. The windows can't be opened, which I find really terrible. There is no complimentary water in the room (which is not okay for a 4* hotel!)

Stayed here on business and was very quickly disappointed by the service given. My room was booked to have three single beds and we received one single and a double. This took over an hour to be sorted out. This happened to two of my colleagues, however they were able to just swap with another colleague who had two single beds, however, their card then stopped working on their door but opened the neighboring room instead... It took four attempts to get it fixed... Four times going back and fourth from trying the door to reception... In total our group were waiting 4 hours to have our rooms sorted so we could go and get some food. In my room the shower doors were unusable as they would just get stuck, made worse by the fact it was meant to be a disabled room (non of us were disabled luckily). We saw countless other visitors come back and fourth with problems with their rooms and other times people were waiting for ages to be spoken to as the staff were either disorganised or on their phones. The rooms themselves were decent and there is a nice taxi drop off round the back. If you are looking for somewhere to stay close to bars, restaurants and shops, this isn't that close. Definitely never staying here again

3-4 star is what this hotel deserves. From the moment we arrived until the end they were all very friendly. The rooms were cozy, clean and prepared for our arrival. The bathroom was included with a bath and a shower together in one what is convenient. The bed itself was one of the better beds I have slept in. No downfall for that. You could even get extra pillows that they reserved in the closet for you. The room doesn’t have any windows that you can open what makes you feel like you are in a prison. Same thing for the hallways. You cant feel comfortabel in it. In the morning we had breakfast and we didn’t enjoy it at all. Of course it had the basics that everyone has, but for a €15 breakfast we expected a little bit more then what we got. It almost felt like a lunch but that would be the worst one you got. They didn’t even ask for the room number you’re in so you could just basically go in and out without any problems. Also the refills they normally do were just not there. We had to wait or even ask them to do it what took a lot of our time.

The restaurant was absolutely terrible, long waits when we were one of 3 customers there just after they opened for dinner, could not get an itemized receipt or any receipt, did not want to take credit card but insisted we charge to the room. Half of the items on the menu were not available and the food was terrible. Location was hard to find if you needed to park, the ADA ramp was blocked more than once by cars parked in the no parking zone for hours blocking my wheel chair access and front desk personnel could not do anything about it.

Next morning wrong invoice from another person and 4 people of the group received additional guest in the evening at 22.00-24.00 and even 6.00 in the morning. Double keys were supplied….ACTION… this is horrible service! Mix up with rooms and names, no answer on the phone. No reception. Leather gone on furniture.

The hotel room is spacious, there is coffee and water, the temperature is just perfect. It’s not new or fancy but just ok. The bathroom is not very clean but still acceptable, there is shampoo and conditioner. There is no power plug near the bed.

We stayed at the hotel for our holiday stay in Brussels and was nothing short of amazing. The staff was very accommodating & helped us with an early checkin a few hours before the actual check-in. The staff was also super helpful and accommodated our needs with a wonderful smile. The facility is very close to bus stop and you can always get buses to the city centre easily from next to the hotel. We were honestly very impressed with the connectivity.

The location beside the highways. The drop off from the Bus to back lobby needs to walk about 100m. The room that we had (groups of 30 people)on the ground floor. The right side with ODD number and EVEN number left side. Inside the room there is the coffee machine you can use for boilling hot water. The toilets and shower are separated inside the room. In early november, We did not switch on the AC. The outside temperature was cold enough for the room temperature. You can sleep well without AC. The room interior color was so dark. Restaurant at level 1 , use the stair up to restaurant. The food was good, salads, egg, boiled and scramble. And many other ham and bacon.

Worst hotel of Ramada chain hotels from start to finish. appalling behaviour from the male receptionist extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful! Not to mention the bad bed and pillows. Very unpleasant stay.

We didn’t get the rooms that we ordered , we are a family of six and they gave us three rooms far away from each other. There’s no wifi , and they didn’t help us with the rooms problem we had. It was a family vacation but turned out to a one big mess .

Comfortable enough hotel, on a quiet street. Close to the motorway but no traffic noise. Reception staff pleasant, although at times there were queues. Breakfast pretty good, wide selection. There’s a bus stop right outside which takes you straight to the European quarter in about 20 minutes and the service was reliable. Could do with 24h room service and minibars in the rooms though.

A fairly nice hotel. Handy transport connections. Wasn’t aware of a €100 ‘deposit’ charge but it was taken as held funds from my bank card when I checked in. Had booked a double room but got 2 single beds. No tea or coffee in room which was a shame. Coffee machine in lobby sold insipid coffee for €1 per minuscule cup. TV in room was basically news channels and no other entertainment!

The hotel wasn’t bad. The room was actually quite big and nice. Their restaurant was good though breakfast could be better. Their reception staff need to change their attitude. Last evening before I wanted to settle the bill as I was checking out early morning. Samir from reception asked why now when he’s so busy... I then asked to add my company details on the bill. He’s reply was: please be patient. I’m not a robot. I suggest some customer care training.

The windows can't be opened, which I find really terrible. There is no complimentary water in the room (which is not okay for a 4* hotel!) The bathroom needs renovation as the bathtub was broken and quick-fixed. Which hotel has a bathtub and an overlong curtain instead of a real shower? This is definitely nothing for people with disabilities or elderly people - or basically anyone. Standing on the shower curtain is not a nice experience. :( The beds are really narrow and my booking said "king size bed". I don't see how 80cm width can be king size... And something that most hotels have in common: why on earth do hotels always have a carpet in the rooms? That's disgusting!

Avoid if you can. The room is very basic. No kettle , no minibar, no iron machine but only bed and tv.. You need to spend 5 min to understand how remote control works.. There is even hand book for it !! You cannot open the window so no fresh air at all... The only good thing was bartender om.Good service and polite ..Location is calm in a neighbourhood .I don't recommend at all...

Probably the worst service I had at a Hotel. Received the key to someone else room. Fortunately person was not in. So walked back to the reception told the story but no apology what so ever. Before we came to the hotel we tried to call three times, no response. Laundry service thats on the website is not available. There are no clear signs to the parking, kind of frustrating when the main entry is a 10 minute drive from the parking. Rooms and food were ok bit nothing special.

Loved the place. Friendly staff. 10 minutes away from city center. Very good breakfast although tour bus people cleaned out the breakfast 🥞 when I was there.

I had the pleasure of staying here to welcome the New Year. What is excellent about this hotel? 3 things, cleanliness, service, and location. Prior to arriving, I had to change my reservation. I called and received our great host who would help us with anything throughout the stay, his name is Guelly, one of the front desk agents. He assisted me with changing the reservation. Once we arrived he remembered us and gave us a warm welcome. Being first-timers to Brussels, he provided handwritten instructions on what to do and where to go for NYE. He even provided his cell phone to us in case we were in need of anything during our time in the city. We felt like we had a true friend who watched out for us . When we did text him questions about where we were, he would respond promptly. The room was for 3, it was clean and comfortable. The location was great, the bus right in front of the hotel takes you directly to the center of the city. I would recommed this hotel and hope to stay again next time I am in Brussels.

I'm currently in room on the 2nd floor. No working WiFi. I asked the front desk if anything can be done like if the wifi can be reset. No. I asked if I can get any compensation back since we paid 250 euro for a place with wifi and there's no wifi. She said no. Nothing can be done. It should be working. Great, thanks for "helping." Not even comping breakfast which is 19euro by the way. Don't come here unless you have to.

When checking reviews written by earlier travellers, we almost did not reserve this hotel. We are glad we overlooked the negativeness of many reviewers. We have found this property much above what we had expected. The reception upon arrival turned out to be outstanding , one of the best ever received at any hotel over our 60 years of extensive travel…Our rooms are up to any standards, clean, functional ..cozy beds, quiet …Our only reservation was the rather poor quality of the food available at the restaurant…in a country where food is reputed to be among the best in the world…The underground parking was easy, and inexpensive at 10 euros per night. Overall…. A delightful experience to be repeated. We had 2 rooms for a four nights stay.

  • 3/5 Daniel L. 1 year ago on Google
Wasn't a huge fan. The rooms don't have enough electrical plugs. The personnel cleans up the breakfast well before breakfast is over, so that food is thin on the ground by that time. That's not so bad - waste not, want not - but also flatware, plates, and cups are hard to find throughout. Overall fairly disappointing .

Nice, clean hotel. Conveniently located, close to the airport. Friendly staff at checkin, but was a little surprised that I wasn't able to pay the 4 Euro city tax at the time of booking. Giving 4 stars because the parking is very awkward, have to drive around to the back of the hotel which is like a 4km drive around several blocks? Parking was free or 10 Euros if you wanted to park underground. Also, be warned the rooms have a bizarre master control for the lights where you have to put your key card in a slot, then walk in to turn on the master switch beside the bed, then you can return to turn on hallway or other lights.

Its just a bad experience with this kind of RACISM for Vietnamese people in such a big hotel in Belgium. We stayed one night here and had a breakfast there the next day. However, against all normal global class service, the F&B team or manager tried to kick us out while we only sat there 15 mins for breakfast. He said- we were out of time for breakfast whilst we observed other table ( which also other nationalities) were still having their foods in conformity. Horrible experience because he made us feel less about our race, skin and national pride. We truly hope this kind of racist act will be stopped as we do not beg for food but paid for it like everyone else

On the plus side room was clean and pet friendly and close to the airport. But... We arrived around 1030pm after a long journey and were greeted in an unfriendly manner by the male receptionist. No information was offered regarding breakfast, food or bar services. Reading the in room literature about food and drink I discovered that there is a bar open until 11pm. 1045pm I asked directions to the bar and was told by same member off staff that the bar was closed at 1030. I told him that it stated 11pm closing time in the literature. Eventually he admitted the bar was still open and yes I could get a refreshment. After a long journey to be met by such poor service was frustrating and left a bad first impression of Belgium. There was also an extra ,20 euro on our bill which couldn't be explained. Not recommended
