Very beautiful building facing the tervurenlaan ! This is not the Royal museum for central africa, wich is located behind it. I don’t think this place is accessible for the public though. when i was there, it was closed. However, looking at other google reviews, it seems that it’s a place for private events ! Plenty of parking available right in front of it.

Nice venue for corporate events. We had our summer party for all our Belgium associates and overall nice experience. Food served was tasty especially the desserts were really nice. Very good music/audio arrangements so we enjoyed DJ night. If you are using public transport, check the last Tram. Tram stop is hardly 5 mins walk.

We had a office party here. The place is quite nice. It also has an outside seating area and a perfect courtyard and quite big rooms for dinner or dance floor.

While the museum is modern, the parc quite scenic and the exhibition really interesting for adults, it lacks interactive elements for children. Also, the floor plan is rather confusing and parts of the exhibition were broken (VR experience, speakers at AfricaTube, some screens). Not what I would have expected from a newly renovated museum.

The woods, the wide view, the beautiful buildings,... It is an amazing, relaxing environment where you can feel Belgian history!

Formerly colonial palace belonging to the Africamuseum nearby in a splendid snowy natural scenery, today event-location. The two side-buildings are more recent and constructed in an anonymous style

Grand, historic, elegant, roomy, a good venue for partys, weddings, not a restaurant but catering available through Salons Van Dijck, next to royal park of Tervuren. Excellent food, very friendly staff, very helpful in all situations. We had a fantasic party there!

Afrikan musuem is really well organized and we'll established. It was indeed a learning experience for us. Slave history might have added valuable insights.

There is a tendency to hide the colonialist past of Belgium. some statues are even covered for this reason, I don't think it's ok, history is history whether it's cruel or not. The temporary collection/exibition is closer to the history than the museum itself. Totally agree with the positive atitude towards the end (The vibrant culture of Congo and african people) but there are missing some parts of the cruel aspects that really happend.

A very nice place. I appreciated that the Belgian state and the people living there protect nature and historical places. I recommend everyone to see it

The museum is reopened after renovation in December 2018. Impressive collection of masks and artifacts, which relate to the history of this great continent. Highly recommended to visit.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ My friend took me for lunch because it's one of her favorite places, and it's easy to see why! It's different, almost like you're not even in Brussels. The decor is cute and simple, the ladies who run the restaurant are very friendly, the food is creative and delicious. I had one of the daily spec...
