Not a good choice for the study if you're an international student! I and many others have experienced discrimination. We tried to report it, but the professors got more aggressive and took revenge by failing me in the exams. University was supposed to keep my complaint anonymous, but they didn't. I mean, the discrimination in this university is systematic. By searching on the net and simply googling, you can find more examples from others, and they are just those that were published. The university tries its best to keep this issue silent...

I am enjoying every bit of the orientation week as a new international student. Much to do over the coming weeks/months but so far so good.

While in Brussels, I crashed into a friend’s apartment who attends VUB. I should say, the University is world-class, very scenic and located at the heart of the city. They amenities that are international student-friendly and a lot of ongoing developments in the campus. I haven’t really explored their academic offerings but for the student experience, I think this university has all the amenities.

Amazing university. Campus activists are the best in Brussels. Unlike ULB that only communicates and offers services in French, students and visitors of VUB are privileged with services that are offered in three languages: Dutch, English and French. The campus life is unpredictable and amazing.

The VUB university is amazing. The Etterbeek campus is beautiful. Buildings are well designed and constructed (e.g. the tobacco administration - rectoraat building). This university have interesting collaboration projects all over the world and many its professors are helping in underdevelopment countries. Well done VUB!!

Great campus that was a haven in the heartless world of the lockdown. Danke u wel VUB

It was a great experience spending 6 months in this university as a visiting student. Well organized and friendly colleagues. All Master classes and almost all bachelor ones are in English.

I love this uni with all my heart. The campus has a really fun and cosy atmosphere, it's relatively small so they have a personal approach and there's always someone to help you. They also carry their values with pride.

I'm an international student of linguistics and literary Studies; I really enjoy studying here, in such an amazing atmosphere.

Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is a big university with lots faculties. The green scenery is amazing. I guess it's a great place to chill and study.

Overall great place, great teachers and great students. They can be kinda slow to get things done, but eventually they do get them done and they're pretty fair. The -2 stars are for being slow and disorganized sometimes. But I love the place. Great campus to walk across, relax on and explore.

Actually rating had no meaning for q university but this is one of the highest rank university in Belgium...

I want to study here. I love the atmosphere.

The VUB is mediocre as a place of learning due to incompetent administration and unpleasant 'student guidance'. However, as a meeting place for students and other people of all places and creeds is is a wonderful place. There are affordable warm dinners and lunches for students, sandwich shops, cafés and bars. There are large patches of green, a campfire place you can reserve, an athletics field, a gym, and more. A little bit of home here in the big city.

Great university. Open-minded people and teachers.
