Very bad service. I do not recommend. I made an appointment to do only a specific exam, but I was attended by a general vet, that didnā€™t gave me any solution for my dog problem, didnā€™t make the exam and in the end I was charged with a super expansive bill for litterally nothing. After waiting for two weeks for another appointment (same reason as first time), they cancel it one day before, suggesting to reschedule it one month laterā€¦. Thatā€™s Sad! Lack of professionalism, sensibility and competence.

We were in the process of temporarily relocating to Brussels from the U.S., and I had reached out to several vets. None of them responded to my general inquiry except for Animal Hospital Champ du Roi. They even helped me with suggestions on whom I can contact RE: the transportation of ashes for two of our kitties from the U.S. to Belgium. When we arrived in Brussels, one of our cats kept vomiting while eating. We were concerned for obvious reasons. We reached out to Animal Hospital Champ du Roi and they were kind enough to squeeze us in the same day we called. We saw Dr.Josis who was apologetic for the wait, as he had been managing a previous, large case with one of their pets/clients. Despite the language barrier, he was very thorough and inquisitive. He provided medicine to help our kitty out, in addition to providing an additional RX we needed for our other two kitties. The staff was kind and courteous. The doctor was informative, kind, courteous, and did a great job of assessing the situation and asking the right questions. The costs were also highly reasonable, considering the typical vet costs in the U.S. We had a very positive experience, and highly recommend their facility.

I don't recommend this hospital/clinical to anyone. I called them to fix an appointment for my dog so that he could have the leishmaniasis shot. I asked 3 times on the phone if they had the vaccine in stock and they said yes. I came from Mons just for that and when I arrive they say they don't have that vaccine in stock. Not professional at all. They shouldn't be playing with animals lives

TERRIBLE value for money! They charged 650 EUR for catheterising our cat for two days with no antibiotics NOR anti-inflammatories. We picked him up at the clinic bc they told us that he had been able to "urinate abundantly" in the morning, but it was NOT true. Our cat was completely unable to do this and I called the clinic to inform about this roughly 15min upon arrival at home. They said it was normal bc of the inflammation (for which they had not applied anti-inflammatories...). The following day I called again with the same problem and they said that more tests had to be run and that probably they would have to operate. In reality, after checking in another clinic, my cat had a terrible infection and was not reacting to the anti-inflammatories they had prescribed. One week with new medicines did everything. Had it been for them, we would have operated my cat and spent a huge amount of money with them. Btw, still waiting for them to reply to my calls and explain the results of the tests. In brief, untrustworthy, ridicolously expensive and, most importantly, totally ineffective!!

After reading some negative reviews at Google, I was worried about going here - but my experience was good! RĆ©ception was helpful and friendly (and willing to speak English without making me feel guilty) and the vet we saw for my cat's scan was SUPER. Yes, the cost was eye-watering; I had been warned it might be around ā‚¬200 - it was in fact ā‚¬290 - but we are servants to our pets and we/all vets know we have no choice but to do whatever is necessary to ensure they are healthy, regardless of what our bank balance allows.

Excellent service, they speak English and French, and the vet that took a look at our dog also spoke Italian. We got all the medicine we needed for our dog there, even special food for her particular needs. Excellent place I highly recommend them.

We have been coming with our dog for four years to this clinic and we have always been happy with the service and the doctors. During those years we have seen 4-5 veterinarians at the clinic and found the one we always get back to for advice. Our dog has been operated there in urgency as well and I donā€™t remember any long waiting times and we could pick him up the same day without any complications. Of course the clinic is more expensive than other vets but at the same time they have many veterinarians, I usually get an appointment within a week and they have an urgency line. So I prefer to have that extra service that I am willing to pay for, for my dog.

I was there to support my friend who had to put her beloved dog sleep. It was a difficult process, but I witnessed how amazing the vet was in this clinic... During the very sad moments, she was supportive, emotional, and very professional. She shared the pain with us, yet performed her best... She explained everything step by step, gave us the needed moments for a farewell. The family and I were grateful for her support...

We brought our dog in a very bad shape, and the only thing they did is blood analysis. Thwy didn't put her with perfusion, but they Made us take the dog which was neither drinking nor eating home. After the long weekend, when we took her to our regular ver, she was in shock. Unfortunately, it was too late to save our dog.

Super happy in all aspects. They took care of our little dog and did a wonderful job. Kind, responsible, super flexible and giving their best when dealing with your pet. I recommend without any hesitation and I am sure taht if Tosh(our dog) was able to, he would've recommend them as well.

I never had such a nice experience with a vet in my life. My cat had cancer and it was a very big surgery, the doc takes all the needed precautions and even more. The team went above expectations with the treatment with us and my cat. Now she is safe and sound at home thanks to them.

Good veterinary clinic. They have several veterinarians that specialize in different areas so they got you covered with whatever problem your pet can have. You can get antiparasitic pills or other medicines directly in the reception counter without necessarily having an appointment which makes it very practical as well. They are open 24/7. We take our dog here and he seems to be happy with them

They took such good care of my cat. They also told me in advance what the final cost would look like in order not to get an unpleasant surprise at the end.

Premise: The review is on the veterinarian clinic, not the emergency services. There are several veterinarians in the clinic so my experience may not apply to all, but after two appointments with two different doctors I feel compelled to NOT recommend this clinic. The first vet did not perform a complete check-up of our 6 weeks old kitten (intestines were bloated and irritated, slight fever), he did not inform us of the possible negative effects of the first vaccine he administered and he had to consult another colleague on the posology/follow-up timing. This should have made us question already the professionality of the clinic but we decided to still take our kitten for another check-up, after she experienced some diarrhea. This second time was really a tragedy: - The vet tested our kitten for feline typhus and told us she was positive, insisting that there was not a chance it could have been a false positive, even though the kitten was recently vaccinated and even after we asked about this specifically multiple times. - She hinted that our kitten may have had a cardiac problem, and told us that we should have waited before adopting her as we had a typhus contamination, a month earlier. - She prescribed a series of medications, including 14 days of antibiotics, without any specification on how to protect the delicate intestine and bowel of a now 7 weeks old cat. The medicines did nothing, as the kitten did NOT actually have any kind of pathology, but they severely impacted her gastrointestinal system, leading to more diarrhea. We then decided to go to another, more reputable vet that immediately interrupted the cure, gave us a completely different treatment, and told us that our kitten is in formidable shape, aside the effects of the medicines (the doses were too high for such a young cat). Aside from the lack of professionality, and aside from the fact that I had to follow-up twice to finally get my cat's results back, what really shocked us was the total lack of empathy. People go to such clinics because of the love they feel for their pets so having a veterinarian judging the choice of adopting a kitten, suggesting she may have a deadly virus with complete lack of understanding on how vaccines work, and having the words "cardiac defect" thrown around without performing ANY specific tests is absolutely inexcusable.

I would like to express great thankfulness to the doctor that immediately took care of my pup bitten by a dog. She was extremely nice and polite, absolutely professional. She knew I was under extreme stress so she slowly explained all the details to me twice. She was really engaged to provide my dog with great medical care and to make sure I understood the current situation and next steps to do. If any emergency happens (tfu, tfu!) for more than sure I would come only to this clinic. Thank you so much! šŸ˜Š ā¤ļø

I am really happy and content with the service at the Animal Hospital. My dog had a biopsy and it all went perfectly. The vets take their time to discuss everything with you and they answer all questions in great detail. They are very kind and cautious when checking the pets. It's also very easy to make an appointment by calling - everyone speaks English (which is great for non-francophones, especially when it comes to medical conditions). I would absolutely recommend it. Thank you for the great work.

Not professional at all. After 1h waiting in the emergency room and 1h 20 minutes of consultations, we left without knowing what the problem was with our bunny. They might be good with dogs and cats, but not with exotic pets. The next day we went to a vet to Utrecht and after 20 minutes not only we found out the problem but it was also solved.

I do like this place and its attention to our pets. Amazing and nice vets there. You should have an appointment but this is not indicated anywhere. Difficult kinda impossible to contact to reception by email, Msn or phone.

I would have given 0 if possible for their arrogant and rude attitude. I visited this Clinic several times because of the urgencies with my dog and every time I would feel so frustrated because of the rude attitude of the personnel in the Clinic. Last time we visited this Clinic was on 14/02/2022 when our dog was diagnosed with a complex elbow fracture and we were told that the surgery will be the same day in the afternoon or the next day. Since we did not receive any call from the Clinic by the end of the day, I decided to call the next morning because our dog was suffering in pain. The lady who answered the call raised her tone at me and replied in a very rude manner that I should have waited for them to call me (even though they did not call us back when they supposed to) and that the operation could be done on 16/02 at earliest.Ā We were not satisfied with the solution that was offered and we found another surgeon who was shocked that the dog was left two days to wait with his broken leg and told us that the operation should have been done as soon as possible. They might be well equippedĀ Clinic having hundreds of patients per week, but kindnessĀ towards the animals and their owners is definitely something that is lacking there.

I had a very lovely experience coming in. Both for general check up, vaccines and sterilisation. My kitten loved the doctors so much she was purring so loud veterinary could hear her heartbeat properly.

Excellent veterinary hospital with 24/7 emergency care. Thanks to them, our feline friend is still alive and able have good quality of life (despite a life-threatening diagnosis). Recommend them enthusiastically and unconditionally!

This is a review I wish I hadnā€™t made, for obvious reasons. Nobody wants to have his pet sick. But every time we went there we had a pleasant experience, given the circumstances. Kind doctors, professional attitude.

I came to this clinic with my old cat when she was dying and the vet was very supportive and helped a lot. Time passed, I adopted another cat and came to this clinic again. They are very welcoming, attentive and professional, and I am happy they exist.

Overall I am very satisfied with Champ du Roi. As my puppy is very sensitive we ve been to their emergency services multiple times, and they always try to get to the bottom of things. Our yearly check up also goes great! Only thing I would change is, that since it is a Clinique, you donā€™t get assigned a specific doctor so everytime itā€™s a different one. Which makes it always a bit more burdensome to explain the history of the dog. But overall, would recommend 100%!
