The hostel in a very central location, not only was it close to Brussels Central Station, but also all the sightseeing, restaurants and cafes. The facility interior was modern and spacious. The bunk beds in the room were very comfortable - every bed had its own curtain, head light, charging outlet, and USB outlet - almost felt like an individual pod. The bathroom was clean and separate from the shower and the sink which I really appreciated. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was great! Overall a great place to stay, I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Brussels.

Location is great. You’re in the center of all actions and close to metro which is so convenient. It depends who you get when you check in would leave the first impression of the place. Mine wasn’t wow! But the next morning, the girl who helped me and listened to my concern made it better. Breakfast was okay but not worth €8 per person. Luckily it was offered to me for free for booking directly. The room I stayed in, has a toilet issue but they resolved it the next day. Hot Shower was great. I wish however, the change the curtains rings since they get too noisy when you open them and close them. But I truly appreciate the curtain. It gives you a little privacy which at the end of the day, it is so much needed. The common area is cozy. Overall, Latroupe in both of my stay in Madrid and Brussels have been a positive experience.

+ Great location, walkable to all the nice places! Clean room Spacious shower Cozy, big common area Easy to check in, borrow hair dryer Has microwave if you need - Lack of hooks on the wall in the 4 bed mixed room Ventilation is poor inside room, perpetually damp No window for fresh air in my allocated room Pillow is quite uncomfortable, did not sleep very well Foosball table in common area can be noisy, perhaps place somewhere else? Although there is quieter space near the entrance to do some last minute work

This hostel was incredible. It was always very clean and looks high end. The staff were great and always attentive to those staying at the hostel. Every night of the week they always have some sort of social that helps you get to know others who are staying at the hostel and also traveling Europe. The location is literally in the middle of all major tourist attractions. Everything is within walking distance and if you want to see something a little further, there’s a train station less than a 5 minute walk away. I will definitely be staying at this hostel again next time I visit Brussels.

A big advantage of this accommodation is its location in the center of Brussels. The rooms were clean. Everything was as described and looked like in the photos. The breakfasts were also very tasty. I recommend staying at this hotel. Nice and communicative service. You can easily communicate in English. What I remember most from the service was Lena. She was very kind and sympathetic person :)

Honestly highly recommend! For what you're paying, you get a really decent room, clean facilities and a cool common area. I just wish the evening events were a little more advertised, not many people showed up! Also, they say they provide towels but they're actually €1 per person (for the dorms) - cheaper than other hostels but just a little annoying! Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again

Awesome stay at this hostel. The rooms are nice, the service was good, and the location is absolutely amazing. So many bars right outside the door and so close to Grand Place. The only criticism I have is that the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great.

The greatest place that we could have asked for for our 1-night stay in the city. Friendly and hard working staff, clean rooms with great view of the center and near to every accommodation regarding eating, shopping and having fun! Totally recommend it to whoever is visiting Brussels for an affordable and easy stay :)

I have been traveling for 3 months and this was the nicest hostel I’ve stayed in! It’s a shame I was only there for one night. The rooms were spacious and clean and included a sink, bathroom and shower. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve experienced at a hostel and the window shade kept the room dark and cozy. I could have slept all day! I only have two small complaints: only some of the beds included curtains while the others didn’t? I found this quite strange. My bed did not have a curtain and I prefer to have one just for the extra privacy. Also, it took about 35 minutes for me to get checked in, but they were very busy with only one person working behind the desk. I highly recommend!

Stuff was really nice to me. They explain to me about the locker and room facility as well. I really like the way how they behave to me :) very polite, and the professional. It’s like five star hotel ha ha Anyway, thank you so much for a great service. I would love to use it here when I visit to Brussels again.

Lovely hostel! as a solo female traveller I felt super safe here, with main locked doors at night and key card access. Super close to lots of restaurants and the grand place of course! Breakfast in the morning is definitely worth it as well. All staff were very kind and helpful! Rooms were amazing, the shared bunks with lights and curtains have been the best I’ve stayed in, and the rooms always were clean! Would definitely recommend to others passing through Brussels.

Very happy with Latroupe! The breakfast spread was great and fresh, the staff very helpful, the location central to all of my activities, and room/linens were clean. Very satisfied, and the other hostels I stayed in on my trip didn’t measure up to the standard set by Latroupe.

Probably the best hostel i've stayed in. Excellent location, spacious, lovely breakfast selection, clean rooms, nice spacious common area. Highly recommend! Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Brussels

We stayed here for Tomorrowland. The hostel is super nice and the staff are all really great. The only thing that's a problem is that in my room, 308, the bathroom smelled like an entire sewer in the morning. My guess is that all the smells from all the other bathroom somehow ends up there?? Anyway that was super unbearable, I chose to use the public bathroom at the lobby at times. Not sure why that was happening but it smelled so bad even when no one had used it all day. Hopefully you don't get that room haha. Also the hot water ran out.

Nice place to stay but quite expensive. There wasn’t always hot water and the shower smelt very mouldy. The room is quiet at night and there’s privacy curtains on the beds which are clean and comfy. Location was ok. Wifi not that great.

We stayed in a room for 4 in this hostel. It was amazing. Exceeded our expectations and our family really enjoyed it. The mixture between young people and families did work and the quality of the rooms was outstanding.

stayed here at the start of December for 2 nights and I must say that it was the best couple of nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel, the room and bathroom was spotless and the showers hot and powerful, the staff were fantastic and so helpful and nothing was a chore, they were very helpful as when we were there a train strike was on the day we were due to return to the airport so they worked out which trains we would need to catch to get us there on time. First class service!!!

  • 4/5 Kevin B. 7 months ago on Google
Hostel was great and clean! Staff was friendly. The WiFi kept going in and out and the registering process was annoying. The curtains are only on half the beds and me and my friend got the two beds without curtains. Which happened to be the two beds opposite the massive window. Design flaw for the room. The shower was never hot. But other than that I enjoyed it! Especially for the price

Wow. We’ve done a ‘hostel’ and I loved it. Exactly where we wanted to be to see the bits of Brussels we wanted to see. The room was exceptional ( clean and fresh) with a lift up to our rooms and a decent view of city life milling past. Huge comfortable bed. Air conditioning that worked well. And the breakfast buffet far surpassed that of much fancier hotels. Not just a place to drop your bags . You want to stay here. Looks like might have a nice nightlife for the younger traveller too. Staff friendly and generally busy and I’d presume helpful from observing them but we didn’t need help with anything g it’s so well run.

Great central location and very friendly hostel. The staff are friendly. It is on a busy road so you do get some noise from people, but it didn't stop me sleeping. Comfy beds too.

Overall, I really liked this hostel. The decor is very modern and the rooms are kept very clean. Whenever I would come back from being out all day, I could tell that housekeeping had came in and cleaned. I was in a room with 5 other girls and the room was nearly spotless. I also loved that each bed has a little privacy curtain. The hostel is in a great location. Staff is kind and super helpful too. My only concern was the cold showers. I was here three nights and only got one warm shower on my last night. The water is generally incredibly cold (like, not even lukewarm). I heard a couple guests complaining to the receptionist about it and the receptionist said that they had someone working on it. Unfortunately this was a continuous issue. Aside from the cold shower, everything else is great.

Decent hostel in a prime location. Lobby area is welcoming with plenty of space to sit and a bar with outdoor seating. Friendly staff and above average cleanliness. My 4-bed room was mediocre as the lighting was exceptionally bad and only 2 of the 4 beds had privacy curtains. The pinball machine or whatever it is in the lobby is incredibly noisy and should be removed.

I visited Latroupe Hostel in September 2023 and stood there for two nights. The staff was very nice and the mixed 4 bed dorm was clean and cozy. There was no city noise during the night. The breakfast was diverse and very tasty with belgian specialties. The location in the city is very good to explore the city by foot.

The hotel is well located. The person at reception is friendly and helpful. The bedding is comfortable, the wifi infrastructure is good, the rooms are clean and well soundproofed (although the balcony overlooked the street). On the other hand, the shower smells very bad of sewage, the tap was broken or completely loose. Breakfast is a disappointment. No kitchen on site including nothing cooked except industrial (pancakes etc...) and no real coffee, cappuccino, etc... everything to pay separately...

Location is great and near to all the attractions and food places. Staff were friendly and helpful. We got a double room. States that it is 20 m sq but it feels smaller than that. Paid 22euros for breakfast but didn’t find it worth it. Food finished really quickly and wasn’t refilled. Boiler was having problems but thankfully resolved by night so we had hot water for the night. However overall still value for money for an accom in Brussels.

This was my first time doing hostels. I don’t like sharing bathrooms or a room with strangers. However, this wasn’t a bad experience for me. I loved that it had curtains on the bunks. I stayed in a room with 6 females. I didn’t like how it smelled like bathroom. Idk maybe just me I wish the showers were a little bigger. Also more than one roll of tissues in the bathroom. I didn’t have the breakfast but the pizza I did have was OK. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall it’s a cool spot. Oh and the Grand Place is literally around the corner. Same as metro!!!!

Absolutely lovely place. Would stay again 10/10. Even has storage lockers if you still want to see the city before heading off. Star is very friendly and multi lingual

Loved it! Very well situated, in the center. Lovely environment. The rooms are great, comfortable beds, private curtains for each bed, a table to get ready, the washbasin was outsite the toiled and the shower, so we could brush our teeth at the same time both the rooms were occupied. Awsome breakfast, with lots of great options. Nice and fun people! They have every weekday a different activity, beer tasting, karaoeke, etc. Just think needed a little more light in the room, everything else is great.

Super hostel! We had a spacious room, very comfortable beds and generally it was clean and nice. The only small minus point is the fact that there was only one washer and dryer each. Would definitely come back, highly recommend!

  • 5/5 Diana M. 2 years ago on Google
Clean, very nice design, sheets and the mattress were amazing quality - definitely the best sleep I’ve had in a hostel! Beds have little curtains so you can have some privacy. Didn’t get the breakfast because there’s many cool places around where you can get brunch. Also location is perfect for exploring and night life!

Easily one of the best hostels I’ve been to so far. It’s clean, tidy, quiet, affordable with modern amenities and a 24 hour reception desk. The staff are nice and friendly and it’s close to a Metro station which makes it super convenient. Also, close to the city centre with the major attractions and the Brussels Central station. Honestly what’s not to love?! I’ll definitely be back.

  • 5/5 Adrien Lucas C. 2 years ago on Google
A very warm welcome and a staff more than nice! The rooms are immaculate! The beds are comfortable! I recommend the hotel for groups of friends. (we were 18) The hotel is 300m from the main square and 600 from the central station.

I had a wonderful experience here. As someone who has stayed at many hostels this hostel is by far one of the nicest and most comfortable. The location can't be beat and the staff is very friendly.

We stayed for 1 night in a private double room and our stay was great. Very clean room and bathroom, very friendly staff and excellent location right in the city centre of Brussels. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants around. It’s a new, modern hostel with a nice lounge area to chill and have breakfast. Totally recommended!

Great location Stayed in a 6 person mixed room with private bathroom. There was always soap but there are no towels or maybe i missed it. So bring your own towels and also little locks for the cabinets. I liked the beds. They had privacy and they were quite big. I personally think sinks should have been better placed if they were in the toilets. And not in the room cause it made too much noise. The place was clean and staff was friendly. There was socializing places in the entrance floor which i found nice as well. Thanks for everything!

Great place! Very cozy, very clean and very well organized. The staff is extremely patient and friendly. The happy hours here are a fun little concept where you get to meet some cool people. My only little issues would be that the elevator buttons are very hard to press, the elevator itself moves very jerkily and it's a little scary and also, the cost of the laundry was too high (€9 for 1 wash and dry cycle).

  • 4/5 Wynnie O. 1 year ago on Google
I really like this place, but I know it can be better. The dorm rooms are excellent in layout, comfort, and size. Each dorm room has it’s own shower room, and separate toilet room. Here’s what could be better: The toilet room need a fan because people are stinky. The shower needs to be cleaned at least every other day. Also, the shower head has a calcium buildup, so that needs to be dealt with. I recommend, right by the door, putting a shoe tower. People need to change into clean shoes when they come in, and more importantly, this leaves stinky shoes by the door, because people are stinky. Also, someone dropped some drops of blood on the floor and they’ve been there for days. Gross. Also, the laundry that’s offered here has ONE WASHER AND ONE DRYER. That’s it. ONE EACH (I recommend going to the Magic Wash that is close). So, with those issues in mind, this is a great place to stay, it just needs some extra attention. However, for the price, no hostel can beat this place! The front desk staff is amazing. The guy who came to fix the sink was super nice and did a great job. Overall, I’ve had a great stay and I hope I get to come back again.

Such a nice hostel in Brussels. The location is very convenient and near city center. We were in a private room for 3 people and it was very cozy, the room had private WC and shower with shampoo and gel included. The only thing is that no safe is available in the room. Breakfast was not included but for 10€ you get breakfast buffet and they had plenty of options to choose from. We didn't ask for it but they also cleaned our room when we were away. There is a little cowork and bar space in the ground floor that is very cozy. Books and table games are free to use. Overall, a great place to stay if you are planning for a trip to Brussels! Very recommended :)

This hostel was really great. Clean. Nice staff. Location was perfect. Half mile from Brussels Central, .9 of a mile from Brussels Zuid-Midi. Tons of restaurants close by. .4 of a mile from the Galleries of St. Hubert (which is where all the chocolate is). They do have a bar and activities. This is fine because it was not too loud. Laundry facilities and breakfast for an extra cost. I stayed in a 4 bed room. The shower, toilet, and sink were all separate. This is really handy as no one person cannot hog the bathroom. I absolutely recommend this hostel.

It was amazing. I went as a solo traveller. The people working at Latroupe are the friendliest & kindest helping me with whatever I needed. They host different activities in the common room in the evenings and I made so many friends through this. The rooms are exactly what you need. I loved the design of the room. The entire experience was positive. If I ever come back in the city I'll make sure to book Latroupe.

It was our first time in Brussels and we couldn't have picked a better hostel. The location was key for our stay and it didn't disappoint. The rooms were roomy for us and the staff were super friendly. I will gladly choose Latroupe for my next trip!

  • 5/5 Pamela P. 1 year ago on Google
Rooms are neat, not so spacious but fair enough for shared rooms. The vibe of the staff is amazing and super welcoming that definitely make the experience here better. Big hostel with elevator which is a plus and near to every hot spot of the city and subway. They organize activities everyday for the guests so you’ll have fun!

this place was where i stayed in a hostel for my first time ever and i gotta say the experience was way better than i thought. prices were cheap, rooms were quite clean, beds were comfy, location was convenient, ppl were chill, and place was safe. that all makes me happy as a solo traveler :D only downside is the nights i stayed were the two nights they didn't have meet n greets, i was looking forward to meeting some cool peeps ;-; but hey the stay is what matters more

Great place, very central at walking distance from most touristic places. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is delicious and pretty healthy with vegan/vegetarian options. The welcoming drink is a nice touch. The only flaw: no Internet during my whole stay. Very inconvenient! But everything else was excellent! 150% recommendable!

  • 4/5 Caitlin S. 11 months ago on Google
The hostel was located a 5 minute walk from Grand Place which was excellent, the central train station is a 12 minute walk. The room was clean and modern. It was very hot during the night which made it difficult to sleep, and the curtain rails are metal so whenever the curtains are pulled it makes a very loud, piercing noise which is enough to wake you up during the night. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.

  • 5/5 Gasper E. 10 months ago on Google
I only stayed here for one night, but based on that experience, everything was great. The dorm was spacious and clean, and the same goes for the toilet and shower. I did have some problems with locking the locker, but other than that, nothing else. The location is also good, and it's within walking distance of all the sights and the train station

  • 4/5 Anna on T. 1 year ago on Google
I'm not a fan of hostels, but I'd would book this one again! Also the dorms have their own toilet and shower. The breakfast is really good for a hostel. The also serve pancakes, some sorts of cereal and cake besides toast. And the employees are super friendly and helpful.

  • 5/5 Laura 8 months ago on Google
Lovely hostel, clean rooms and bathrooms. Really friendly staff answered any questions. Nice bar and good atmosphere in great location near the Grand Place. Would Highly recommend as female solo traveller
