Only
stayed
for
the
first
night
out
of
a
3
night
stay
in
Brussels.
Upon
arrival
around
11am
the
door
was
locked
and
no
one
answered
any
phonecalls
to
the
reception.
20
minutes
later
a
man
showed
up
to
unlock
the
door.
When
checking-in,
the
credit
card
which
had
been
booked
with
hadn't
been
charged
so
we
had
to
pay
by
debit
card
there
and
then
(sketchy)
The
room
itself
was
very
basic
-
even
for
a
2
star
hotel:
no
tea/coffee,
no
A/C,
the
toilet
paper
in
the
bathroom
was
one
of
those
singular
sheet
dispensers.
The
quality
of
the
room
was
awful
as
well.
The
walls
were
extremely
thin,
we
could
hear
people
cough
from
another
floor.
As
well
as
some
couples
getting
it
on
in
other
room,
with
unfortunate
clarity.
The
plastic
cover
of
the
plug
outlet
next
to
the
sink
in
the
bathroom
(dangerous
in
itself)
fell
off
with
just
a
poke.
The
shower
produced
only
ice
cold
water.
The
room
was
very
dark
as
the
only
source
of
light
were
3
lamps
and
the
window.
The
"flat
screen"
TV
in
the
bedroom
wasn't
even
connected
to
an
aerial.
The
safe
did
not
work
so
we
could
not
have
the
extra
security
for
our
valuable
items
when
the
door
handle
to
the
room
itself
came
off.
When
trying
to
find
a
member
of
staff
at
the
reception
to
help
us
with
this
issue
at
approximately
6pm
no
one
was
there.
The
door
to
the
reception
was
even
locked.
Fortunately
enough
the
lock
mechanism
was
separate
to
the
door
handle
so
we
could
still
lock
the
door
and
go
have
dinner.
Once
we
got
back
-
around
10pm
-
there
was
still
no
one
at
reception
to
help
with
the
door
handle
issue.
The
reception
was
still
locked.
Even
calling
the
number
on
a
business
card,
we
had
no
answer.
We
left
around
11am
the
next
morning,
dropping
the
key
off
in
the
box
provided
for
checking
out,
not
even
being
able
to
let
any
staff
know
as,
yet
again
there
was
no
one
to
be
found
and
the
door
to
the
reception
was
locked.
