Went here for the first time tonight after reading the reviews. Loved our meals and will be back to try the other dishes. So many options. We had Vegetable Korma, Golden Curry and Ocean basket. It is Saturday night but the food came out so quickly. The staff were young but had great customer service. Thanks guys. Also, I would love to know who the cooks/chefs are. The food was as good as the vegan food we had at the Buddhist temple in Kuala Lumpur.

I keep coming back to this ALL VEGAN restaurant for good reason. Everything on the vast menu (that I'm still trying to eat my way through), is tasty and addictive! Vegan lasagne, tofu bites, spicy samosa, pan bread...omg the pan bread! Macha green tea topped with coconut cream...delish! Then there are the crumbed mushrooms with an unexpected and delightful surprise of pickled vegetables, and so much more. With the option to buy their goodies from the freezer and take home it's so worth stopping for. There is plenty of parking behind the library and dining available inside, out or takeaway. Staff are so happy, friendly and helpful. Great place to bring the family, with meat lovers able to find options next door.

This restaurant has so many awesome vegan meals! There is a range of cuisine so there is something for everyone! We get dinner from here at least once a month and usually get the arancini balls (amazing), crispy yum and the spring fried rice. The spring fried rice deserves a 5 star on its own! It is amazing and I highly recommend this meal and restaurant,

Tried for the first time and regret not knowing this place before. Very tasty and affordable food. Portion sizes are just on point and friendly service. Both dishes we tried were so tasty and full of flavour. Recommended.

Delicious and affordable vegie food. Most of it was amazing but some comments to improve. The peking duck 3/5 - I have had better mock duck peking duck before, the duck here was very thin and couldn't taste much, was disappointed with this one. Lasagne 5/5 - that was bomb! Big serving size too. Chicken nuggets 5/5 - yum! Heavenly Salad 4/5 - at first thought it could use a bit more sauce or seasoning but I finished it so it was still pretty good and a very light and healthy dish. I would have loved to see more stir fry options with just vegetables but particularly beans or brocolli, wombok stir fry or something like that. Even though I am a vego I am not super into all the fake meat options, I prefer just good ole vegies :) So I think have more healthy stir fry options.

If you're looking for something a little different with vegan and gluten free friendly meals, you got to try this place. I've been here twice and the meals have been very delicious and generous sized. Coffee is also very nice too and the service is very quick!

Great experience- the staff was so friendly and accommodating for my nut allergy (which is typically difficult for vegan food). Tried the cauliflower wings, truffle mac and nachos and all come highly recommended, definitely a gem in the Paddington area and worth checking out, vegan or not!

The vegan fare on offer has interesting appeal. Only good thing and worth writing home about was the "Cauliflower Wings". Not all the staff working there are very amiable, unfortunately, and this greatly influenced my experience. I'm sorry this was the case.

Got the Ocean Basket and a serve of chips with a friend. The fish substitute actually did have the consistency, and taste, of fish. First visit. Quite impressed. Perhaps somewhat pricey.... Looking forward to seeing what else these guys can do. :) Thanks again guys.

Great place for vegan food. Big range of dishes from Asian and Italian cuisine. Portions are generous and it's not too expensive. Really enjoyed our meal there and hope to visit again!

Great Vegan restaurant. Food are good and friendly staff. Can be busy on weekends but get there early or booking is recommended for weekend visit to avoid disappointment.

Fantastic! I’m not even vegan but I am going to try after having the Pei King Luck pancakes and polenta (so warm and hearty). So no need to eat meat. Plenty of options and parking and great service. Not rushed. Wouldn’t have minded a vegan glass of wine as it was Friday knock off, but the food made up for it.

My visit to this restaurant was truly remarkable! Having been curious about trying it, I'm glad I finally did. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the service was quick. Now, onto the food – it was outstanding! Among the best I've ever tasted. The flavors were rich, and you could tell that the dishes were prepared with genuine love and care. I've missed this kind of culinary experience, and the delightful taste has convinced me to return and explore the entire menu.

Love this place, you can have everything vegan. You can opt to take out the onion or garlic as well. My favorite thing to order is the entrees as a main. The heavenly salad is one of the best vegan salads I have had not too much tofu and lots of raw veggies. It’s delicious food and has healthy options or if you feel like fried food also has some fried options. Best to call ahead for pickup as they get busy at nights. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere and they’re big on environmentally friendly- you bring your own bag for takeaway which I love. If your only plant based diet or even normally eat meat there is generally meat replacements like the satay sticks that are vegan but delicious to even a meat lover like my partner. It’s not a fancy restaurant by any means and the prices are good. Highly recommended for vegan lovers or just anyone who likes to eat meat free a couple of nights a week.

If you're vegan, this place needs to be on frequent rotation. Even if you're not vegan, there's a fair chance you'll love it anyway. On the menu, Seven Seas Delight is so good I could eat it every single day. It's a great location to buy a picnic box and eat it at the lookout on nearby Mt Gravatt.

Lots of yummy vegan options! I have recently developed allergies and need to eat low FODMAP so the onion and garlic-free options are perfect! I have had several different meals which are massive serving sizes and taste amazing. Something did trigger my stomach last time I ate which is my body and not the restaurant. I am keen to come back once I figure out what triggered me.

Spent a leisurely 2.5 hours there today for lunch, however only 1 other sit down customer other than myself and my friend, although there were 4 takeaways. All cafes around them (including the Coffee Club) empty. I really hope that these small business with such good food and service don't go under. Please support.

Being to Loving Hut (Brisbane) Many times. ordered Bejing Black Bean meal every time. It is sooo yummy. love their Spring fried rice too. want to try Laksa noodles next time. Service is excellent - staff there are friendly and even brought the takeaways for us. So grateful.

One of my new favourite spots to eat! We ordered all three breakfast meals and split them between three of us- none of us could decide which we liked most, they're all so delicious!! All three meals were served within 15-20 minutes of us ordering, the staff were super friendly and the food was YUM! Really great first experience <3

Ordered the CFC, overall it was a filling meal with fantastic gravy and super crispy ‘chicken’ but where it fell short for me was the salad. The salad was gooey, didn’t cut through the grease from the fried food and was not really a suitable addition. More mash would have been better

We had such a wonderful experience! My mushroom and kimchi burger was amazing, and the mushroom patty was a minced and crumbed mushroom one, which absolutely blew me away. We also tried their chicken patty with a salad and their parmigiana, and again were so impressed! The service was sooo friendly, and the two ladies serving us were so so nice and wonderful to us. Their turmeric latte was also the best I’ve ever had, balanced and just perfect. The vibes of the cafe were also perfect! I really recommend you pay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing vegan food that is so, SO tasty and fresh. I recommend Yavanna if you are trying to introduce meat-eaters to vegan food. They will be surprised at how dang good it tastes. Attended the restuarant with a table of 8. Service was reasonably quick, the food was really nice and the staff were friendly. Considering half of us that attended eat meat, it was great to hear the everyone enjoyed their meal.

Delicious! Generous portions and each dish had individual and yummy flavours. We'll definitely go there again.

The service and venue was great. Really nice set up but not many GLUTEN-FREE options. The only dinner options available are two burgers and nachos. I didn't want a burger for dinner having had one for lunch already but nachos isn't really a meal so I decided to give the tofu burger a go. The best thing on there was the fries and aioli. Tofu in a burger is a bit strange and the only other thing in it was a couple of cucumbers and red cabbage drenched in an average satay sauce. There's so many amazing vegan gluten free foods hopefully they have more options on another visit. My friends were satisfied and enjoyed their meals hence giving four stars!

SO GOOD!!! Went vegan a year ago and have been craving a KFC box this is that but 10x better and nothing died.. which is always a plus?? My partner left his sunglasses there and the resteraunt called us using our reservation number go let us know.. seriously good service 💗💗

Delicious plant-based versions of dishes like salt and pepper squid, sweet and sour pork, roasted duck. A little too salty overall and dessert not quite as impressive but definitely worth a visit.

100% vegan! Loved the breakfast on Saturdays. Unfortunately they no longer do breakfast though, at the time of writing this review. Bring it back please!! I always get the carrot cake, so yum. Great variety of tasty vegan food. Nice atmosphere and plenty of parking available. Love that it is a local vegan place and don't have to stress over going into the City/West End/Valley area's just to get vegan food.

EDIT: I have received clarification from Loving Hut (Hi Lily!) and my original review is now obsolete. This is the place you take your family or friends to if you're the only vegetarian/vegan and you want to introduce them to what veg*nism can taste like. The food is excellent and cooked to order (I heartily recommend the Tom Yum Fried Rice and the Loving Wrap), the staff are always kind. There's a bookshelf of vegan literature you can browse and water jugs are always on hand. The menu is a mixed variety of foods and likely has something that can satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. Make sure you observe the spiciness guidelines on the menu and if you have someone sensitive to spice, definitely forgo the Tom Yum Fried Rice (it's lightly spicy but my spice sensitive friend thought he had eaten a jalapeno after trying it) and swap it for something like the Lasagna or Loving Wrap.

Discovered this gem of a restaurant last night. As a local to the area, I walk past at night and this place is always packed. Finally looked at the menu and it was 100% vegan! We arent vegan but thought to give it a go on Saturday. We were so pleasantly surprised by the kind service even on a busy night. We had the Crispy Chow Mien, Thai Red Curry, Sweet and Sour Nuggets and we got recommendations to try the secret menu item…the soy fried rice. We were not let down with the food everything was so flavourful. We loved absolutely everything. It was lovely to try vegan versions of Asian staple dishes. You can tell the whole menu is made with love. I love this place, cant wait to come back to try everything on the menu.

I have been a regular at Loving Hut for years. I have been coming here since the day they opened (well maybe that week!) and haven't stopped due to the range of delicious vegan meals. We often get food from the freezer to make stuff at home. So nice to just eat and not worry about ingredients not being vegan or being cooked in the same thing as dead animals or their products.

Service and food could definitely have some improvement. After booking through face book when we arrived we were told “ we don’t have your booking” and advised to “sit anywhere” a young lady took us to a table and as we went to order food we were told we had to move to the one next to it as they had another booking come through. The table of 6 next to us where also asked to move to another table as another booking was coming; didn’t offer to move water or cutlery , they were clearly not happy about having to move when there was enough space, also shows you’re not as important as incoming guests. We ordered our food and drinks, at no point was it mentioned that we were to get our own cutlery, after 15 mins our starters arrived and still no drinks , asked for drink and cutlery and was told “ it’s up front” and that they would get the drink. The staff member could have got the cutlery seen as they were already getting the drink they forgot. Spring rolls were nice; but not like they are usually full of meat so no surprise. BBQ bun was nice, chow mein was bland and mushy, made me feel sick to eat. The vegan sweet sour nuggets were inedible, the dough tasted like a sugary donut and filling no flavour. No one came to check on us during our order, everyone was made to move to accommodate a large Asian family who got Menus and cutlery brought over to them. There was definitely no love at this hut that’s for sure. Was excited to visit after reading reviews but honestly couldn’t wait to leave. Not worth the trip , could have looked past the service of food was nice but was just not good, sorry. Wouldn’t come back, has put me off vegan Asian food.

Loving Hut has great vegan food - it isn't like gourmet chef stuff, but it's casual home-style cooking at great prices and they've got a huge, extensive menu and variety!

Awesome vegan restaurant. Haven’t tried everything on the menu yet but so far most have been delicious. Prices are good and the food is made nice and fast. There isn’t much of a vibe when eating in but you’ll be distracted by the meal! Very reliable as a local takeaway dinner spot

The mushroom entree was to die for. It was absolutely superb!!! Our daughter loves the chocolate cake. And everything is deliciously vegan. If you haven't been here yet, you should change that a d do so soon.

The staff were very helpful and so many options available (gluten free, peanut free, onion/garlic free). Had the salt and pepper tofu, Spring fried rice, Heavenly salad (minus peanuts) and loving hut wraps. All dishes tasted amazing, and even my toddler enjoyed it all!

Pretty nice. However, almost all meals have soy/tofu. So, this is not great if you are a vegan who can't have soy. There are many, many, many dishes on the menu and after asking only 1 or 2 were soy free.. Dishes come with a tiny amount of rice. I ordered more rice as I still had half a plate of curry left, but it took forever to come, and by that time I wasn't hungry anymore.

The taste was below average... I was excited to visit a fully vegan place, & based on reviews it sounded good but, so disappointed by the textures & flavors. Two young boys at counter couldn't answer questions about the ingredients in some dishes, nor did they try to find out... Never coming back here.

My partner and I eat here very often, there’s so much variety in the menu and I’ve yet to order the same dish twice or be dissatisfied. We always leave happy, the portions are huge, the flavours are incredible. bring a non vegan and watch them not believe you that they’re eating plant based!

This place is the best restaurant I have tried in Australia, as a vegan person who is struggling to get delicious vegan food, this place can be like a home cook, I always enjoy every meal. The food so yummy, fresh, and made with love . The lady in the reception is very kind , polite, and hospitable. I do highly recommend it .

Amazing tasting food and service! The meals were big portions and more tasty than any meat or meat alternatives we’ve found. All four of our guests agreed this is one of the most delicious gourmet restaurants in Brisbane which actually is vegan as well. So a double bonus! Somehow I find myself back at this restaurant every now and then even though I should know better. The food is very obviously microwaved, and almost every meal I’ve had has had some portion of it served cold even though it clearly shouldn’t be. Side servings of vegetables are flavourless and the menu hasn't changed in the 8 years I've been here on and off. The decor is tired, the lighting is clinical and feels like a hospital waiting room when you’re dining in. I’ve been vegan for a long time and have tried most vegan and vegetarian restaurants around brisbane and this one ranks right at the bottom. Have no idea why it has so many glowing reviews. This is my first negative review on Google Maps because I just seriously don’t understand the praise this place gets on here. If I had to guess, it’s the fact that the southside of Brisbane is severely lacking in exclusively Vegetarian restaurants. In saying that, it doesn’t excuse bad food. The only thing I can say is the service is nice enough. Go elsewhere.

It is such a shame to write a negative review, my wife and I used to be regular customers and always loved the food, unfortunately over the past 2 years the quality of food and service has declined, it is still so lovely to have another vegan restaurant however and I would love to see the restaurant improve
