Didn’t realise it’s a vegetarian restaurant until ordering. Ended up with high satisfaction! Love all the dishes, super!!!!!!!! Highly recommended.

Amazing vegan, gluten free Thai food - also no onion and no garlic! We came and we’re a little skeptical about the no onion or garlic but we really couldn’t taste the difference, everything was still so flavourful and delicious and the service is super friendly. The buffet is great value, $14 and the portions are really generous. The best option around whether you have dietary restrictions or not!

It's great to have a vegan restaurant in the heart of surfers paradise. The food feels pure... They don't even use onion or garlic. Price is reasonable. Service is quick

I got takeaway and got everything because I couldnt choose 😊😊😊 highly recommend Edit: came again and got two salads and all the stuff ready to go. It was great again but a bit spicy, even the salad. The kids couldn't eat the spicy food, didn't know it would be that hot for them. I think I will order the menu items next time 😊

Wow.... first for us as we have just decided to start eating healthier and cleaner. We came across Blossoming Lotus..... Amazing food. Was a little worried as we love our Thai food but are trying to be vegan for no other reason than eating clean. This was OUTSTANDING..... we ordered Pad Thai and Pad see ew, both still had amazing flavour. We were pleasantly surprised in the taste of both of these. I had the BBQ duck tofu and the deep fried ice cream. As a recent vegetarian I was astonished how closely the tofu duck tasted and FELT like the real deal! Absolutely amazing! An incredible experience for vegans/vegetarians and omnis alike!

So happy I found this place! Ate here with my teenage daughter whilst on holidays from Brisbane . Ordered the lemongrass curry which was beautifully flavoured and fresh. Staff friendly and attentive. Love the atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back every time I'm at Surfers.

Has a bay Marie of different choices & can order off menu too. They don't fill the takeaway containers up properly though.

So happy to find this place.! Food was beautiful, setting was lovely and even my 5 and 7 year old loved it.! Great to see authentic Thai food fully vegan 🌱 we will be back for sure.!

Come here at least once a week and get the dinner or lunch specials. We also love the tofu satay sticks. Always delicious. Definitely recommend.

Awesome food, you have to eat here whether you’re vegan or not - your non-vegan meat eater friends will also love it! We had the crispy ‘pork belly’ (vegan!) with papaya salad and BBQ duck (vegan!) - my omnivorous partner said the pork belly tasted so like the real thing & i thought it was amazing - in taste and having something i couldn’t normally have - pork belly! P.S. Sorry for the empty plates photo, it was so tasty we just tucked in!

We came first time. Very good taste. Good service. Atmosphere is fine..everyone should taste vegan food..we liked very much..Actually this type of food is the need of our society ..price is reasonable. Value for money.

We sampled all starters, and they were all very delicious. I then had Laksa, and carnivore partner had Lemongrass Stir-fry. Both meals were superb. The waitresses were lovely and the music was calming and tranquil, on this Sunday evening. Must visit for a good vegan feed.

Superb food! We had the BBQ soy ‘duck’ and the Thai 3 flavoured sauce ‘fish’ - all vegan of course. You could bring any non-vegan friends & I’m sure they’d love it - my partner is vegetarian/pescatarian & I’m omnivorous & we both thought it was one of the best vegan restaurants we’ve been to. Highly recommended!

Love the one in Sydney, and the one in GC was just as good. When they have it I recommend the tofu, eggplant and tomato dish. It's delicious.

I recommend green curry, pumpkin and Thai basil vegan mince absolutely delicious I am coming back 💯 I should have taken a photo at the start but I didn’t know how good it was and now I can’t eat it fast enough . Avocado smoothly also amazing.

One of the few vegan restaurants on Surfers Paradise, this is a really cool place. The Thai food is hearty and provides much required warmth on a cold winter night. We were here for dinner, and tried Tom Yum soup, Raw Papaya salad, Pad Thai and Hokkein noodles. The broth was hot, tasteful and not just spicy. All the veggies were well tended to, and noodles was well mixed with sauces. The salad had a good jolt of spice, probably not for kids as they couldn’t handle it. But, all the adults really loved the papaya and peanut combination along with the greens. The place is a bit small, but the service is great and food is reasonably priced. It’s a must try for anyone who loves Thai food.

The food was excellent, and I thought the lunch special was a great deal. The service wasn’t the best at the front counter, but I can easily overlook that since I was so satisfied with my meal. There was no wait either. Food was ready as soon as I ordered so great place to visit on the go or in a rush.

Amazing food, very inexpensive, ingredients taste fresh. Also a very relaxing cute and cozy dining in experience and very nice staff. I’m a local resident and eat or get take out at least once a week. Their food puts me in a good mood.

I had green curry, curry pastry and thai milk tea. The green curry sauce was tasty. You can feel coconut milk balance with little bit spicy flavor. Loved it!!!

This little restaurant is just excellent. Few bucks and significant quantities, and the food is just outstanding and full of flavour. Been here many times...and I keep coming. Highly recommend!!!

Listen up, my vegan and vegetarian friends! This is the best place to eat you can find in Surfers!🤩 They have an amazing lunch offer for $12 ($14 for dinner) where you get rice and you can pick 3 sides from their buffet. I had the green curry, the crunchy soy balls, and one of the tofu dishes for lunch today. Everything tasted amazing and the portion was definitely filling. Finished my lunch with a yummie Thai ice coffee which was also great! The staff are all very friendly and helpful,and the restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and is in a central location. Gotta love it! 😍👍

Came to Gold Coast for five days with my friends and I couldn't be happier and more grateful for finding this restaurant. The dishes are full of flavour, the customer service is exceptional and the price is too low for such good quality food. The place is cozy and welcoming. We came four times and we are sad we are going back home and leaving Blossoming Lotus behind. Will definitely come back and I recommend to all vegan/vegetarian and non-vegan/vegetarians. We tried the curry puffs (the sauce is AMAZING), the rotti bread, fried tofu, laksa (my personal favorite), red curry, pad see ew flat rice noodles, hokkien noodles, thai style fried rice, mango and sweet sticky rice and the deep fried ice cream. I recommend ALL of it. Great portion, will leave you full and happy to enjoy your day/night. I could praise this restaurant all day long 😅 I'll miss the sweet smile and waving the girl gave us ever time she saw us coming back. Just love, love, love, love 💙

Got off a flight at lunchtime and looked around for a vegetarian treat...Blossoming Lotus did not disappoint! Ordered the Curry puffs and spring rolls for the kids to start off with which didn't last a minute or two! Followed up with fried rice and green Curry which were full of fresh veggies and prepared right in front of me! Again, the flavours were bang on, not too overpowering and not bland or mild but just perfect! The ambience is good with outdoor seating overlooking the proceedings of Surfer's Paradise. The prices were reasonable. Hoping this restaurant is still around for our next trip in a few years! Will definitely visit again and again if we were local! Thank you Chef.
