Good Thymes restaurant is a local favorite in the Lowell area. This restaurant is a great place to bring your family for a nice relaxing lunch/dinner. Good Thymes was my grandmother's favorite restaurant before she passed away. Certainly a favorite among senior citizens in the area. We still love to come here because it reminds me of my grandmother along with being a great restaurant of course. Great atmosphere, great food and always friendly service. Highly recommend!

Very nice place. Waiter was very nice and attentive. Fish was fried perfectly and the rings and fries were crispy. Had a good meal! Menu is nice and simple.

First time and we loved it! The waitress was very knowledgeable and patient with us explaining every dish and provided some great recommendations. We ordered, turkey, chicken croquettes, and baked cod. Everything was delicious, and tasted like homemade food. Will come back again for sure!

Food was simple and tasty!! Pricing is little higher than average, but the extra $$ is 100% worth the food. The server and management are extremely friendly, and the ambience is great. Felt very welcomed. Would definitely recommend this place. P.S. try the chicken croquette. it's mouthwateringly, delicious!

Took the entire family and truly enjoyed the experience. Great service, large portions and reasonable prices. We got the chicken cordon bleau, turkey and gravy dinner, and chicken Parmesan. Then we ordered the chocolate peanut butter pie, strawberry shortcake and brownie sundae. Everything was delicious. We will be back.

On a sign near the entrance it says Good Thymes has been around about 30 years. However when you walk inside it feels like you've stepped back in time about 60 years. A lot of the patrons look like they've been around even longer than that. The place is old school start to finish. The menu is American comfort food like short ribs, baked fish with lots of bread crumbs on top, salads with plenty of iceberg lettuce etc. When you walk in the door there is a glass case full of baked goods which they will roll out on a dessert cart. At least that's what they call it. Our dessert choices came out on a tray that the waiter carried. Speaking of the wait staff our waiter at least seemed like he was carefully trained by a lifelong waiter back in 1955. He was great! The food is well prepared but definitely not an amazing experience. It's a good place to go if you have childhood memories of seeing news stories about the Korean War on one of the black and white TVs that someone had in your neighborhood.

First time here because I was finishing a site visit nearby. Was pretty empty when I came in, but I was eating at an off hour. The server was super nice and allowed me to get the lunch special even though it was 10 minutes past that time (3:45 pm). Ended up ordering Croquettes with Onion Rings, Corn, and Cranberry sauce. Honestly, it was the best meal I've had eating out in a while. They don't have a dessert menu but rather a dessert CART with over 10 options. I ended choosing the Strawberry Shortcake and it was amazing. Something about these small family restaurants speaks to my soul. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. My only complaint is probably parking as there are limited spots behind the restaurant. Highly recommend to try if anyone is in the area 👍

I was in need of comfort food and this place for the bill. It has a bit of an old-timey (thyme-y?) feel and most of the people there were older than our party, but I appreciated the relaxed vibe and excellent service. I got the chicken pot pie, which came with a thin puff pastry crust. Just chicken and gravy inside, so I chose the mixed summer veggies as a side. I recommend for anyone looking for traditional comfort classics.

My first time at Good Thyme. First the good. Food was excellent, prices fair, restaurant was clean and we were seated quickly. Now the bad. New waitress who was simply beyond slow. We waited and waited and waited. Over 1 1/2 hours for a steak and pasta dish. Just ridiculous. Soup was delicious. Will definitely go back. Hope for a different waitresses lol.

I've been going to Good Thymes for a while and was obsessed with the Short Rib. They took it off the menu I had to find something else that I liked. They're not an Italian restaurant so I was taking a chance on the Chicken Broccoli & Ziti. OMG...I'm so glad I did it was delicious! I have to say the sauce, chicken and even the broccoli was perfect. I will be getting this again and hopefully it is just as good. (FYI...Only 4 stars because the drinks are not consistent)

Took the kids. Like last time we were pleasantly happy. Started with an appetizer, Cassie decided to get a chicken sandwich. Christopher got the chicken Parm and I got chicken cordon bleu with a side of pickled beets and a potato.

This has turned into my favorite local restaurant! Decent menu with tasty food, reasonable prices, and very nice staff! I particularly recommend the Shepherds Pie! The Seafood Casserole is also delicious!

I'm from out of town abs had a family friend come meet me. We picked here and were both extremely impressed. The food was amazing and our waiter really knew what he was talking about. It was a little pricey, but with the portions, the taste, and the selection, it was well worth every dime.

Am here for dinner on a Saturday evening. They were very crowded, but we were seated quicker than the 30 minute estimate. Once seated, the friendly waitstaff, told us the specials, and took drink orders. They have a full bar, offering beer, wine and cocktails with top shelf brands. There were 4 of us, so we had a mix of specials and regular menu. All of the dishes were very tasty, and good portions. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the casual environment.

All the food is good, the seafood is the best. baked or fried haddock is great. the cocktails are really good, cosmos are the best....they dont skimp. Deserts are made there fresh, and are yummy, large enough portion so we split one, or take one home. Been dining here since they opened.

What a nice surprise! Great food, reasonable prices and friendly service. We had not really expected much when we got here but saw the restaurant was well reviewed so decided to give it a try. I had a salad that was fresh and plentiful. Good choice...but leave room for desert. I did not and wish I had when I saw some of the choices.

The restaurant reopened for lunch recently. I heard it may have changed hands but cannot verify. Quality, service, extensive menu, fresh seafood, and yummy desserts remain the high points. Remains top one or two best restaurant value in the greater Lowell area.

Fall off the bone ribs, baked potato and Cole slaw. Had dessert at home, but dessert tray looked good. Parking can be tight. Menu reminds me of popular family style restaurants from the 80s...in a good way. Solid choice. I'd go back again for sure.

Homey comfort food at its best. All of the items that I've eaten have been very good. If you want a solid, savory meal that reminds you of what your mom used to cook, you need to visit here. And DO NOT SKIP dessert!

The staff is great and personable. Visited on busy days, and the service was still exceptional. Brought friends for 1st thyme, and they loved it. Very creative pop of color on the ceiling in the main room.

Great food, very friendly staff, excellent service. Everything is fresh and tasty! Generous portions and lots of choices. I love their chicken croquettes and their lemon chicken with pasta. Chicken pot pie, open face turkey sandwich and shepherd's pie are also wonderful. Desserts are phenomenal. They have a dessert cart, which is a lot of fun! Full bar, with a cart for specialty coffees. They have a kid's menu, and some high chairs. I've been for lunch and dinner, it's consistently good.
