I love coming here! They have a nice rear deck and I love their beer flights! If you’re ever in the area this place is a must!

We had beers on the back deck and grabbed some burgers to go. Great spot to have some beers outside. The food is good and reasonably priced. Big, delicious burgers.

Perfect weather forced me to sit out on the back deck... boo-hoo right?? Staff was amazing and recommended an awesome burger. I'm not a big craft brew guy, but they had one just right for me (similar to "the king of beers"). Great spot! I'll go again. Pay for parking sucks, but the whole area is that way.

Hidden gem that has somehow been here forever. A new regular spot for sure. Best smashed burger I've had. Period.

This place is an old favorite. It's all-inclusive; whether your meeting your friends for the weekly session, having a pint after work, or the college crowd looking to impress with your billiard skills, this is the place to go. The food is excellent, service extraordinary, and historic to boot. Take a sip and make history today at the Tap.

The service was great. The fried portobello mushrooms with garlic mayo was great as well. My husband and I both had the hotdogs for lunch and neither of us liked them.

Good vibes.. good food.. good portion sizes! This is the spot to be in downtown haverhill on a Friday or Saturday night. Went for Sunday brunch and it was not overly crowded. The waitress was nice and personable. Have been several times for the bar atmosphere and karaoke. Drinks are good and there's pool tables downstairs. Definitely a good spot to go for food and fun

We really enjoyed our food, as you can clearly see from the “before and after” pics. I got the fried Brussels sprouts plus a side of the beer cheese because based on the menu, it seemed like a must. Pro tip: drizzle a bit of the Thai chili sauce into the beer cheese for the best dipping flavor experience. Hubby ordered the wangs and while he ate every last bit of it he did mention they were kinda dry. The boy ordered a double burger (hold the bun) with the ghost pepper cheese because ghost pepper cheese on a burger sounds AMAZING and he was thrilled to every last bite as fast as humanly possible. Our server was very friendly and made sure to keep a pitcher of water at our table. Solid move! Our food came out fast and hot and the bill was totally reasonable (I’m a NYC transplant). Only bit of criticism would be the noise level in the dining room, which I appreciated was separate from the bar, but the music was still too loud to have a conversation without hollering over it AND the other patrons trying to do the same. Overall a great experience and will be coming back for drinks and bites at the bar but probably not first choice with the family.

Very cool local brew house. Had the 12 sons and Mosaicus. Both a great pic for pale ale. Also had the smoked pastrami. TBH thought it be hotter temp wise but still thought is was good. Great atmosphere and def put in the repeat list. Come in and enjoy the chats at the bar or a trivia night. 👍🍻

We left before even ordering our food. It’s a $5 Upcharge for gluten free bread. Gluten free substitutes are not an excuse to increase profit margin. I can buy an entire loaf for that price. GF substitutes are to ensure those with allergies can eat at your restaurant. We also sat for 30 minutes without our food order being taken. Didn’t want to wait even longer for overly upcharged food. Drinks were good.

Best bar in Haverhill hands down. Only one that's built to last. Everything else comes and goes in this downtown area, but the Tap is tried and true. Great service, top notch atmosphere, and excellent food. Can't go wrong with anything here. Wish more bars were like this. Shout out to Mike, the best bartender in town.

Didn't eat while there. I instantly loved this place. There's an energy about it that lifts your spirits the moment you walk through the door. The pumpkin beer is by far the most delicious I've ever tasted. I strongly suggest no rim to enjoy completely. Bar staff, second to none and very reasonable.

Excellent bar tender and waitress (same person). Food was pretty good although the others with me, enjoyed there's more. Good neighborhood pub. Always friendly.

They have a new menu. Don't bother getting the butternut squash pasta dish...not creamy, very dry and whatever little pieces of meat that's in it was like chewing rubber. The bar tender/waiter was wonderful and took it off our bill.

That’s great to be on the water, I don’t fortunately the food is sub par, I think it’s absolutely fabulous that they have their own brewery and have creative local names for their brews, and I’m sure they will improve due to the difficult financial circumstances we all are facing.

It was great. Service was friendly and awesome. Nachos were amazing as was the Caesar salad.

Went here for the first time the other day. I was pleased. Had a good pub/tavern feel to it. Good selection of beers. And the pulled pork sandwich tastes good. It wasn't the best I've ever had in my life, but it was solid and if get it again. The only "critique" I could say I was the plate they served the sandwich and fries on was too small.

Recently went during my sons hockey tournament with a group of 18 parents, 9 8 year old boys, and 9 of their siblings. The wait staff was amazing, food and drinks were great. I’d recommend to anyone. Small party or large. Great atmosphere.
