Easily one of the best dining experiences on the seawall. We've been going here for over a decade and the food and service has always been consistent. Be prepared for a long wait if you don't get there early for breakfast. For lunch, the crowd gets a little slower after the typical lunch hour. Breakfast is what they're known for, but the other items are delicious. They also have all day breakfast. The seafood has always been fresh and well prepared. The drinks are also done well. Prices are quite good for the overall experience. There is visibility to the seawall from most of the seats. The best seats, of course, are the ones next to the windows! We will continue to return to Millers. Also, keep in mind that parking is limited. During the rush, it's a good idea to park a little away and walk. You will definitely need to walk off all the food and drink you consumed after!

Wow! Everything was on point. Food was exceptional, from the fried calamari, to grilled fish and chowder. The calamari were so perfectly fried, and super crispy. Amazing with the sauce they give you. The underdog of the meal was the crab and corn chowder - simply amazing. It tasted like home although I never had anything like this. Absolutely amazing! And everything is so affordable! What a gem in a town like Galveston, where there is very limited amount of things to do.

There were a lot of people in the restaurant. I didn't take reservations separately, so I had to wait. The staff were very friendly. The food came out quickly after ordering and was very delicious. I thought I knew why it was famous and why it was crowded. t was my birthday and I could have a perfect dinner.

One of the best dining experiences I've had. Highly recommend trying to get a seat next to a window facing the ocean, it's sooo nice! The food was exceptional, the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The shrimp was amazing and my wife absolutely loved the shrimp quesadilla. The biggest surprise to me though, was the crab dip! Man was that good, it was my first time trying it and I'm convinced that I'll never find a better version. Definitely give this place a try, 10/10

We can't leave Galveston Island until we eat here first. It is simply the best seafood on the Gulf Coast. The Crab Balls and Crab Dressing are required eating when you stop in here. But you won't be disappointed in all they have to offer. Oh, save room for their very large, award winning, deserts.

Amazing! I brought my wife to Galveston for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Every time we come to Millers, we have the best service and the best quality food. The lump crab stuffing is my wife’s favorite. I don’t eat Gluten, so the owner Sherry grilled gluten free bread herself for my Reuben sandwich. We asked where she buys it (most gluten free bread sucks), she gave us the gentleman's business card. Our waitress who’s name was Lauren was super friendly, attentive and funny. We ate at The Grotto (San Luis Resort) yesterday and it was blah. If you want an amazing meal and authentic experience, Millers is the place to be! Thank you Sherry and Lauren for an amazing lunch. We will definitely come back every time!

Headed here right after our cruise and it was just what we needed. After 5 days of cruise food, Millers crushed it with amazing portions, high quality, hot and fresh food. Great service from Parker. Nice sized mimosas. Highly recommend!!!

WOW this place was amazing! The service was awesome, the food was delicious, and the views from the window seats were stunning. They have a beer and wine license, so drinks are limited but absolutely delicious. I will highly recommend the margarita and the onion rings. Can't wait to travel back to Galveston to eat here again!

What better thing at Miller's Seawall Grill than to try the Seawall Special! A lovely Basa Fish Fillet and eight of their delectable shrimp. Went grilled with butter and highly recommend that. Also served with your choice of side. The fillet was flavorful and the shrimp ... let's just say I wish that was endless shrimp. So good. We came at prime dinner time on a Saturday and were seated within minutes. The staff is super friendly and prices were very reasonable. Lots more on that menu I'd love to try!

Great food at reasonable prices. We ordered a bit of everything and everyone was happy with their meals. The shrimp and grits is legit and would recommend that as best of the bunch. The one minor disappoint was the desserts. They are huge, but we’re too sweet even for the sweet tooth’s in the group which made it hard to eat too much of them. But overall great atmosphere, great views, and great experience.

They open at 8 am and we try to get there right when they open to avoid having to wait too long with our small kids. Miller's is popular and busy and delicious. They have award winning shrimp and grits that even this non-southern girl likes.

Great service. Our server Elizabeth was super sweet and attentive. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Gumbo was amazing. I wanted to get another bowl to go. Soup of the day wasn’t great. Beef vegetable with no beef and soggy vegetables in tomato soup. We shared the Miller’s Platter. First time having a crab ball, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was crispy on the outside and creamy and flavorful on the inside. The fried oyster was fresh and juicy. I loved the grilled fish, nice and buttery. Good fried shrimp. Extensive menu. Breakfast all day looked so good. I will definitely be back.

The location of Miller’s restaurant is right on the gulf. Our food was just ok. A lot of items lacked flavor and the onions in the onion rings were hard and seemingly uncooked. Our server was congenial. The star of the show is that they have the good ice for their drinks. I enjoyed the Gouda grits but did not care for the shrimp that came with it. This place is fantastic for those people who enjoy breakfast because they serve it all day!

The atmosphere is incredible! Beautiful views of the ocean and a nice, comfortable interior. The food is decent. There were 3 of us and we all rated our dishes about a 3.5. It’s pretty expensive for the type of food we got. The shrimp and grits was okay. I thought it would have more flavor but it was quite bland. Like the shrimp was flavored but they don’t add any spices in the grits. It was disappointing, especially since they advertise it as “award winning”. The corn chowder was perfect though! Just the exact balanced amount of spices. It’s definitely worth stopping in for. Everything else was just good. Nothing else was worth coming back for. The service was great as well! Just not the best food we’ve ever had.

The sign outside reads, 'you can't miss breakfast, we serve it all day', and after eating here, I know why. You WONT want to miss it. From the minute you enter you are smiles at and greeted by everyone working. The decor is lacquered wood and very cozy. I ordered the 2 eggs w meat and was also given hash browns and a homemade biscuit. The entire meal was bursting with quality and flavor. The biscuit was soft inside and buttery w a little crispness on the outside. First time here but I'm a foodie and this is my favorite breakfast place already.

Food was fabulous, service was above par, and let me just say I was super impressed with their bust boy. I know that is a strange thing to compliment, but I watch him bust tables so fast and more thorough than many people would do. He sanitized everything so well. Very impressive!

This was recommended by the hotel clerk and she didn't steer us wrong. The food is excellent, the staff friendly and attentive, the prices were outstanding. My husband and I had dinner for $27.00 for the 2 of us. Heck we spend almost $20 at a fast food place that isn't as yummy and tasty. We had the Grilled Shrimp and were expecting a few shrimp, but no we had about 12 to 14 large shrimp with grill onions!! I recommended to everyone! BTW the yeast roll are huge and so so good!!

The food at Miller’s never disappoints. The service is always spot on. Not the least expensive place to eat but hands down the best food. Their crab dishes are sweet and perfectly seasoned and I highly recommend them. I had the grilled shrimp and it came with grilled onions which was a first for me. So good. You need to eat here while in Galveston.

I had lunch with my parents at this restaurant, and it was wonderful. We didn't have to wait to get seated and the staff was very friendly. The food was quite tasty. I had never been a fan of grits, but decided to try their shrimp and Gouda grits dish anyway. I have to say that it was very good 👍👍. Other dishes such as corn and crab chowder, shrimp quesadilla, the 16 and peach cobbler were just as tasty. This place is a solid choice for lunch, and can definitely recommend it.

The host was friendly as soon as we walked in and had a smile on her face. Our waiter offered great service and gave us extra time to decide since it was my 1st time. I ordered a Bloody Mary and “wow” is exactly what I said when they brought it to me. They use a wine based vodka and it gave it a more full flavor. It was delicious. I ordered the lump crab eggs Benedict with a side of hash browns. The food was delicious but I wish there was more lump crab served with it. My date ordered the standard breakfast plate. Eggs with cheese, bacon, biscuit and hash browns. She loved her food. I saw we will definitely be going back.

If you can find a parking I’d definitely say give it a try. (I’ve come by 6 different times and couldn’t find parking) I would say the best Chicken Fried Chicken I’ve ever had. The breading was perfectly seasoned and fried and remained juicy, the country potatoes were perfect with the gravy ,but I didn’t really like the flavor of the green beans. The roll was soft and fluffy. Service was pretty good but my waiter changed in the middle of my meal. My first waitress was very informative and went page by page with me giving me recommendations. My waiter was cool but not very talkative just straight to the point. It was a very busy time of the day though

This place was a happy find! I have been to Galveston for years and have never stopped in. Today, we were looking for a new breakfast place, and Miller's did not disappoint! The Cinnamon French Toast, just as good without syrup, and Huevos Rancheros were amazing. Our server, Lauren, was a delight! The ranchero sauce was just like our Nana's. Will be back in the near future for dinner and dessert.

We went around 2pm on Tuesday and there was no wait. Food was amazing! We started with lump crab dip. I had the lump crab eggs benedict. Wife had Crab and corn chowder with homemade garlic bread croutons. Delicious!! Go here, trust me!!

One of our favorite places to eat in Galveston. We've been eating here for years, the food is always consistent with good portion sizes. Service is always friendly and consistent as well. If you have children, they do have a Kid's Menu. The parking is very limited so be prepared to park on the Seawall and do a little walking if you visit during peak hours. Other than that, if you're in Galveston this spot is definitely a must eat candidate!

  • 5/5 John B. 7 months ago on Google
I had the shrimp & grits - very tasty. My wife had pot roast and it was tender and flavorful. The green beans were really good but the mash potatoes not so much. Great service. I had to park a block away. I’d eat here again.

Cathy was my server this evening and she was so personable and great to talk to taking time to explain the menu and make recommendations. As per her suggestion I started with a cup of their gumbo and it was delicious. Lots of pieces of shrimp and fish and thick with lots of rice, the flavours were good. Next I had a Build Your Own dinner with fried oysters, grilled shrimp and green beans. I found it kind of odd you could only have one side with your meal so I added a side of their crab dressing. My meal was good, the green beans were fantastic but I do not recommend the crab dressing especially for an extra $4.59. It was lackluster, bland and could not taste any crab. The cabernet wine was decent and well priced per glass.

Very good food and service. Visited here on a Sunday around 4 and had the hush puppies, crab Benedict, fried calamari rings, and seawall special. For the Seawall Special I picked the blackened basa fish and fried shrimp with my side of crab dressing (what they put in the crab cakes). Everything tasted good and fresh and service was prompt and welcoming.

Not a hotel - it’s a restaurant….. I’m not sure why Google says room for a restaurant but the food was 5-star. My husband and I both had the chicken fried steak sandwich. His was on ciabatta bread while mine was on Texas toast. It was amazing - he ate 1/2 of his and I ate less than 1/2 - they’re huge! The crust was perfect - not too much - the steak was so much larger than the bread - but still thick! The meat wasn’t tough either, which sometimes we,ve had issues with that. We also had the lump crab dip. Lots of fresh crab, but I’m not sure what the dip was it seamed to be thickened sauce maybe - it was good with choloula sauce which did improve that part of the dip. Our server was wonderful and we’ll definitely go back!

  • 4/5 Thomas J. 7 months ago on Google
We had a pretty good experience. I ordered the crab cakes. I would stay away from this if you are used to the good stuff on the north east coast. Lots of fried stuff to choose from. Waiter was super busy.

I love this place..the service is always top notch…from the greeters to the waiters..they are so sweet! The food..we have the gumbo every time which just like homemade..I always get the French toast. You do not need any syrup with the French toast at all..they are so good.. Cheese grits are so creamy, biscuits like homemade. If you’re ever in Galveston, pls stop by….oh and while you’re waiting on a table, check out the upstairs bar with the beach view. You won’t be disappointed!!!!!

Great all around this morning. Happy and fast service. Good food. The Mini Meal with 1 pancake and a cup of grits was perfect. The pancake was huge and fluffy. It required two syrups. The grits were just right. The huevos rancheros were very tasty but a bit too spicy for us gringos. It helped to mix in the hash browns and tortillas. - Jan 2021 Jan 2020 - Great service with very friendly and helpful staff. Great view of the beach and water. Pancakes are large and delicious. Bacon is thick cut and very flavorful. Grits were a little gluey. Hashbrowns were just okay. Hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict was bland, making the Eggs Benedict just so-so.

Today was the second time we have eaten at Muller's, the food was good and very hot, the sweet tea is awesome, the service was great!!! The only thing about this time was the dinner rolls were not good. The rolls seemed kinda old. The first time the rolls were so hot they melted the butter, this time I did not attempt to add butter since they were not warm.

Honestly, this restaurant was the saving grace of my trip to Galveston. The hotel I booked was garbage, the weather was less than ideal, and w/ covid restrictions, the nightlife wasn't much to speak of. This restaurant however, made it all worth it. Super friendly and professional staff, not a terrible wait, considering it was a Saturday morning, and the food was AMAZING. I actually ended up ordering another meal after I finished my Crab Benedict, it was that good! Awesome work Miller's! I'll be back to Galveston just for that gumbo as soon as I can.

When on a road trip we stopped by for a late lunch. We had shrimp and fish all grilled. Par that with a great view of the ocean. So yummy, we went back for breakfast the next day. The crab cake eggs benedict was over the top. To our nice surprise we had the same waitress, Lauren. She was helpful both times and a pleasure to to have serve us. If driving through again, it will definitely be on our list to stop.

  • 5/5 Brandon C. 3 years ago on Google
Good food and awesome portions! We came on a Sunday to celebrate a birthday and there was a 30 min wait. The wait was worth it. a few quirky things about the place that first timers should be aware of: 1. Wine and beer only (they do make a pretty solid wine based margarita) 2. They do not do anything special for birthdays. I plan on returning next time I am in Galveston.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Miller’s back in July! The service was great, and our crab cake Eggs Benedict was absolutely amazing! Their location on the Seawall can’t be beat. I definitely recommend Miller’s to anyone visiting Galveston!

Eat there regularly. Be prepared to wait but the food is old school Americana and really yummy seafood. Prices are reasonable for all you get. Recommended: the corn and crab chowder and anything shrimp!

Just got pick up and it was so good I had to write a review ASAP. We got the pancakes, bacon, sausage and biscuits & gravy. Every thing was SO GOOD. It tasted like my family’s secret recipe home cooked breakfast, maybe even better! The biscuits and gravy were especially delicious. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back. Best breakfast in the area.

They are absolutely not limiting captivity at all. When we asked the host about it he said “the captivity limits are whatever the fire chief says when he comes in” that’s a ridiculous statement and they do not care about the safety of their customers.

So in reality this place is a solid 3.5 star place with quality food dishes in an older styled restaurant and great Galveston views. It's a place we frequent when on the seawall,, and will continue to do so. The reason I'm giving it 5 stars is because on our most recent visit we were with a diner who has a wheat allergy so needs her dishes prepared Gluten free. When we asked the server about what to order she brought out the manager who got very specific about what each item was prepared with. This extra step makes a world of difference, and with in a few minutes our guest could order with confidence.

First time at Millers and its always packed so expected something great. Did an hour wait no biggie it was expected. Service was good. We had kids and they made quick accommodations and put us in a great spot. The food is where it goes down. I expected amazing food and left partially hungry. I had the millers seafood pick 2. I did the lump crab and the pan fried shrimp with Mac n cheese. The pan fried shrimp were pretty good. Lump crab lacked for me and the mac n cheese tasted horrible. No seasoning no salt. Blah. Breakfast items were also received with mixed reviews at our table.I just expected really amazing food and what we got was far from it.
