Went there for the annual job fair. Big campus which is well maintained and secured. The building can be confusing as it has underground floors also upto level (-3). I almost couldn't find my way out 😂😂 There is also a canteen and snacks store there which serves almost everything. We had chilly chicken combo with veg fried rice and veg noodles, but the chilly chicken didn't taste that good. Overall a gud experience in this hilly area!

1. Average Infrastructure, and campus environment not conducive, lots of machine and construction noises 24/7. Parking Issues. Tiny Footbridge and congested bypass foothpath for commuters. Campus gate remains closed throughout the day. One can leave only at specified time i,e either at 12PM (Lunch Break) and 3:30/ (After Class). Poor Hygiene ( smelly messy unclean washrooms without mirrors). Smelly ( mostly hostels septic tank) and unclean drainage along the campus road. Average sports facilities,( Paid Swimming Pool facilities, Free access 4 Badminton Court, Paid Gym, 1 Futsal Astro Turf, 1 medium size muddy/dusty football cum cricket field) . Limited place for recreation and quite studies. 2. Library limited access(should keep open to students till 8 / 9 PM) 3. Expensive Hostel ( comparison in terms of facilities and fee) 4. Costly PGs, average/monotonous food, poor hygiene in some PG, (single,double,triple shared room type) 5. Costly Rent( money sharks owner, not all but many) need to be good at negotiation. 6. Train noise 24/7, loud music mostly in the evening till late night from the street food/fast food stalls. 7. Noises from PGs, birthday celebration and party with music happens almost everyday till late night, disturbs sleep and studies. 8. Red Alert : Outskirts of Guwahati city, -Not a place for studious, career focused students -Not a place thrifty / lavish / standard / people, no cafes, no malls, no parlours, -Place suitable for easy go and easy come students, who just wants to waste time and chill around. 9. Just 1 Hotel/Paid Accomodation for visitors ( parents, friends ) in. the campus vincity.

This college security behaviour is not good,i was go for queries about MBA but security told me you can't go inside campus because my dress was not good..... Please never go this college. This 2 security behaviour is not good.

Campus is good, students are nice! Probably one of the fastest growing academic arena in the entire NE. They are improving not just the infra but the lifestyles of the students as well.

I had visited Assam Down Town University on 1st March, 2023 for taking my UGC NET exam. The campus is so beautiful with spacious rooms against the backdrop of a picturesque landscape. The teachers were truly helpful guiding everyone with out any frown on the face. What was most necessary is that the systems worked efficiently with workable hardwares, which is the basic prerequisite of any CBT exam. Another noteworthy aspect was that the teachers in charge of the examination halls ensured that no hustle bustle from outside could enter the examination halls. This enabled examinees to take up their exam in true peace of mind.

6months in the college and must say the parking for students is pathetic, there's no proper parking place for students, students are literally struggling with the parking conditions, whereas the facilities have reserved spot for parking, feels like the facilities are having more facilities than students.The college lacks proper management, it's like coming to a government office every day, even SBI functions better than them.And the security guards need to be taught how to behave.They have hired a bunch of goons who doesn't even know how to behave with people.The college should look into these matters ASAP. And the ones who thinking of getting into this college i would suggest compare and look for better options.

Academic factors:- •Very poor guidance from Professors regarding thesis. •Competition among Teachers and lot of internal politics. •Poor field exposure. Internships have to be arranged by students on own with little or no help from university. If you cant arrange properly, professors will blame and scold you during thesis presentation. Non-academic factors:- •They use cunning marketing techniques regarding placements. Placement is HORRIBLE. It's good only and only if you interested in Sales jobs. •They want advance money during admissions but are very very late when refunding securities/scholarships. PLUS they also create a lot of problem with scholarship money. •Location is a huge disadvantage - almost 15-20 km away from important areas in the city center

Good college but still it growing slowly.... Environment is good here, bus service is also good, canteen also there but they should separate the students canteen and visitor canteen otherwise it's great. Lots of monkey are there😁

North east leading university...One of the best university...The faculties are Nice Well Educated... nothing much to say about the university..you can ensure that the quality of the university is in Top in every field.. The only problem i am facing as a student of the university is that... Bohut upar hain yarr🥴it is like you are climbing a hill 😂 although when you reach the university you can feel it... mehnat rang lata hain❣️

I completed my BBA degree from this university (2019-2022) and had a disappointing experience. Despite fulfilling all the necessary requirements, including submitting a Security Refund Form through the alumni portal, I still haven't received my security deposit back. The Accounts Department advised me to contact the Student Grievance Cell, but even after repeated attempts, they have shown complete disregard, even though I was ready to provide the application and bank account statement. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable.

A block, Is decorated with various season flowers which when blooms is so eye-catching.💓. All the lifts, blocks, corridors, canteen, bathrooms are so clean . Available drinking water, handwash, running water in the bathroom, lift 24/7, no powercut. ADTU has my heart. And last but not the least, the AMBIENCE, adtu has mastered in the art of ambience. Every wall, every corrider, every block of our ADTU is decorated with famous things from all over the India. From traditional dresses to foods it has all. Just loved the ambience of the University. Campus is so beautiful. And one more thing, there are swimming pool, gym, basketball, football ground in our university. They are all in k block near the j block. Library has variety of books and the sitting arrangement is so nice. Have a visit to ADTU and experience the beautiful things.❤️✨

It's not that good for verious department rather than Nursing and Pharma....Most of faculties are not co-operative with students..They always hear what administration says but they don't wanna help students in any matters which cause hamper in their study because they don't wanna be bad in front of administrative people.. Faculties are not supportive...And there is also a major issue of productivity...In lab there is very less machine or glassware with no ethanol and distilled water and also no genetor if there is no electricity then you can't do your practical...So always keep this University in waiting list and search for a better University..

Worst University of the world, they only charge huge amount of money for their courses and if not paid on time they charge huge fines, all these things are fine but the QUALITY OF EDUCATION IS WORST they don’t have proper teachers for the courses and in classes they will come give some notes and done, like this are producing future graduates and engineers! WASTAGE OF MONEY, TIME AND most importantly FUTURE OF THE STUDENTS!

It was good but it is too far. After 5 or 6 'O clock there is no cab services. It's very much difficult to travel in such a university that resides in outskirts of guwahati.

The place is nice. We went to have lunch at nearby hotels. Price are reasonable and good.

9am tp 5pm we have to stay there whether classes are there or not... only 45min breaktime we can't have lunch in pg... we have canteen inside but no online payments available 😢. If you want to stay healthy as well as you want to study, the place is not for you . Instead of this you can choose RGU better in every ways and takes less money too
