Please stop looting people on the name of "ONAM SADHYA"Todays onam sadhaya was a total disaster. You should have appointed trained people to serve the food or at least you should have trained your people on how food is served in a sadhya....What kind of farce and mess was todays kerala onam sadhya where no Pineapple pachhedi, Rasam.,Moore ,Payasam not even water was served .Had to litrellay ask for these items on seeing others being served with these ,which too were served at thier own lesiure...The Avaail was super flop with hardly an iota of curd in it .I believe the cook had no clue as to how avaail is prepared and how it should taste .If you all people do not know how to manage and handle guest coming in huge numbers then you have no right to be in the business of hotel industry, high time you stop this money making racket of yours in the name of ONAM SADHYA ""

Excellent food. Menu is particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. It can be little expensive but worth it. I recommend manglorian and Kerala style food you should try. Highly recommended. Sanjay Debnath was the host and he was very polite and informative, he attended us so well.

No doubt food is awesome. Specialties in fish food. Chicken is also good. Quantity and quality is great. Don't worry for veg you are in too, they serve good veg food too. On drinks side they have limited drinks. They got Kingfisher and Budweiser beer.

Their kori roti is a must try. My partner had the Goan style fish curry and rice, which was also great. Their portions are generous, so this is a good restaurant for families and groups.

This place was adored at one point. Went there for a family lunch during Christmas & was disappointed to see what it's come to. The table cloths were unclean, the staff unattentive, but the most disappointing bit was the food. We ordered Golden fried prawns, prawns rawa fry, Surmai fry, bombil fry, chicken lollipops, boiled rice and rassa everything on the menu lacked salt and seemed insipid, the fried items were overly oily and when I politely mentioned this to the staff they made no effort to understand what was wrong or rectify anything. If you're looking for sea in Borivali please try somewhere else, if mgmnt reads this, please take note & happy to chat further if needed. I really liked this place at one point.

The starters are all dipped in the same batter and fried. So the meat can be different but the taste is the same. We had ordered for bombil fry & prawns fry and both tasted same. And the prawns/fish is not marinated so inside is bland. Outside batter is the only taste you can get. Next we ordered for appam & chicken gravy which was good. I tried neer dosa and being a hardcore south indian myself I did not enjoy it but others might find it ok. The service is a little laid back. There was a senior guy at the bar who then took over and made sure we were comfortable. The hygiene of the place is a big put off. Its not clean. There's dust all over, on the plates too and the menu is the dirtiest thing I held in my hand that night. So overall there is a lot of scope for the place to grow provided they fix minor areas of improvement. My suggestion to the caretakers:- 1. Please brighten up the place a little 2. Renew your menu cards 3. Have a timely cleaning of the place bcz its closed from end to end. The only way there is dust is bcz of the furniture, AC etc that is not being maintained. And not from outside. 4. Food is nice. And I will not step into suggesting more about this segment. That I'm sure you will figure out on your own.

Food was okay. Was not as expected. If particularly asked then marination on the food was missing. Dessert we ordered parippupayasam, thinking it would be great, but that appalling, cashew n raisins were not fried, payasam was watery.

This is my favourite place in dahisar, they serve the best south Indian dishes. My all time favourite is neer dosa... We ordered a chicken gaasi with aapum n neer doza, good combo. A beer n Breezer is perfect to finish your afternoon. The ambience is good, the staff very friendly, the owners also will come & greet you. Kudos... Keep it up

Excellent service, food and ambience. Great place for families as well. The waiters are very polite and helpful. 100% recommend this place if you're looking for sea food or something different from the regular dishes in most restaurants.

Had the worst experience at this place .. they serviced us curry which had uncooked chicken .. after letting them know that .. they took it and bought it back .. it was still uncooked .. when you know that your service has ruined a customers experience, atleast give a discount or charge less .. they still charged us a big price .. and I had come her with my husband and his mom for her Birthday.. but it all messed up with the food experience.. Sad to say that ratings don’t tell the truth.. would never 👎 come back here and neither suggest anyone to come here too 😣👎

I was a regular customer before the renovation of the restaurant. The quality of food has detoriated and the service was also average. You have to wait for a long time for the food to arrive after giving order.

  • 3/5 Nancy P. 1 year ago on Google
Waiting was too long, plates, spoons and tissue was not set but food was bought to the table. Starter was served with tomato sauce instead of actual sauce. 3 star is only for taste.

Nothing to write home about. Squid garlic butter fry was hard to chew and not fresh. Even taste wise I would rate 2 out of 5. Tandoori pomfret was again not marinated properly and was bland. Even the presentation was wrong as no lemon offered along with the tandoori dish. Alappy prawns curry was ok and the only saving grace was appam which was delicious. Good ambience as not much crowd and most were families having dinner together. Service was good so people with heart at the right place but for the money they charge, they need to improve a lot on the food offerings they have.

yuck! its unprofessional and unhygenic. last saturday we were kn a hurry to have lunch and hence decided to drop in at this eathouse. the staff promised us lunch with in 15-20 mints . forget getting luch a simple pint of beer could reach on our table for 20 mints until one of my friends decided to give the lousy waiter a peice of mind who was busy gossiping. they claim to be a southindian / konkan cousine which i think is mockery . finally the personal hygine standards of staff was sad.
