Owned by the Kerala State Sports Council, Central Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium which hosts State's official Independence Day and Republic Day parades every year. 🏀🏏🥋🥅⚽🎖️🚴 Apart from Athletics, the stadium can host Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball and Archery events. Located on the east side of the Government Secretariat, the facade has a Wheelchair accessible entrance and there's facility for Nets practice for Cricket players. ♿✅ The outfields are not in great shape though but it's passable and the rates for a whole day was Rs. 3,000/-

A big stadium situated in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram. This stadium is mostly used to host college sports and sports training by Kerala State Sports Council. They also hosts stage programs and government programs here. The football ground is of perfect size that few important tournaments also played here. The athletic track is it's another highlight.All purpose stadium but limited facility. Now a days closed for public use due to covid protocol. Sports coaching available. One have to apply for the coaching at the central stadium office which is situated near YMCA boys hostel entrance... 😊

Vast area and near to secretariat. Perfect place for a grand event.

Visited the place as part of Keraleeyam. Huge stadium but when large crowd arrives, it gets really congested with little space for even breathing. Otherwise the seating arrangements and the screens located in the stadium and outside are all fine.

Central stadium is the main venue of KERALEEYAM festival, which is organised by the Kerala state government first time in 2023. Many popular celebrities visit this festival which makes it very crowded. This festival happens at the time of November every year. The stadium also has a number of facilities like tracks, gym, pits etc

Good stadium, no synthetic track, Often given for various programs ruining the stadium. Need to develop cricketing nets, now very basic facility.
