Visited this place on our way to edakkal caves for breakfast, food was good, ordered ediyappam(noolputtu) along with chicken curry and egg curry. Chicken curry was excellent and egg curry was good, ordered porotta too it was hot, flaky and crispy.

Very satisfying, authentic Keralite cuisine is lovingly served here. I had a chance to have a basic meal, and although I was already full, the food was so soothing that I readily emptied out the banana leaf plate. Add to it all, the low price at which such good food is served is a great surprise for one coming from the city.

Honestly I entered the restaurant with not much expectations, but the food was superb, especially the porotta which was probably the best porotta I had in a very long time. I think it is run by 2 ammas and 1 daughter, they were very friendly and gave us excellent service.

Very nice food and very good behavior of the owner .......A family run this hotel and they are very down to earth people .
