Surprisingly a good place for friends and families to hangout with. A worthy place to visit with kids for the play area. Open park and games arena available. Huge variety of eatables available in the food street. A nominal parking charges leveled for the vehicles.

Very good initiative by TamilNadu government !! Nice & Clean place to enjoy with your family with lot of reasonable shops along with good parking facility... Take your kid here and they would love the place, it has lot of fun filled activity and games !!!

It's one of the great initiatives by Chennai metro corporation. Great place for quick hangouts but avoid going to this place on weekends. It will be too crowded with local people like a festival.

One of the best drive in park in Chennai. As part of singara Chennai project, lot of unused places all over Chennai has been renovated and updated for public use and this is one such place. There are lot of shops in this place including restaurants, cafe and ice cream shops etc.. Almost all the shops are available throughout the night. There is a plenty of room for car parking and bike parking and most importantly, it’s a free parking. It’s a well maintained place with dustbins all over the place and the workers are cleaning the garbages every now and then.

Clean, well managed park and food zone. Wonderful place for families. It has a gaming arcade in gaming zone with vr ride as well. Hope they maintain it in similar manner.

Katipara Park is an excellent place to spend time with kids, as it offers a range of activities and amenities to keep children entertained. However, one drawback of the park is that the kids' play area can be quite expensive, with each ride costing 100rs, which may not seem worth it to some visitors. Additionally, bike parking is available for a fee of 10rs for 3 hours. Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, Katipara Park is a great place to spend time with kids, offering a range of activities, food options, and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the outdoors.

Excellent place to spend time with kids. Lots of food court available. Still little things under construction. Kids park area are good. But kids play area seems costlier. Each ride cost 100rs which seems not worth. Bike parking is 10rs for 3 hours.

Best place to spend time with family and friends. It is like very good atmosphere, clean and spacious place where kids can play various area surrounding. Shops like Coffee, bajji, bonda, juices, ice cream, puffs, helium gas and light Baloon , sugar candy, etc etc. Public toilets free of cost and clean. Bike parking 10Rs per 3hours safe parking. Must visit place.

Heavy crowd in weekend! Highly congested.. Better to go in weekdays. Most of the shops are still empty and have very small play area for kids. Paid activities like small train ride, baloon jumping, etc are there but min cost Rs. 100 for one activity and 3 for 200/- Not worthy!! But have good ambience to spend some time..

Set below the Kathipara flyover it's definitely a happening place. Gets crowded late evenings as it's opened till wee hrs.. the food courts are good and the place is neat and clean and decently lit ..

There are many shops available like KFC, Junior Kuppanna, Star bucks etc. I visited junior Kuppanna, most of the items on the menu was not available or will take time and gave chicken biryani and dosa options only

Lots of good eateries have opened up here. Some of them like the Junior Kuppanna are open 24x7 which is great. There is also a new ramen place open here with a very limited menu. Getting to the park by car can be a bit tricky as the directions are not very clear.

More and more shops are getting spaced . Only outdoor seating. Paid parking facilities are available. Do not visit during summer as you might regret it.

The kids play area could have been better with more swings and equipment. A kids train which goes for 3 rounds is too costly, costing ₹.100/kid, that too without any bill. The Kids play area is purely business oriented for attracting kids to the paid Game Zone. Easily Accessible place within the city. Sufficient parking place is thr. 30 Rs for 4 wheeler. The food court has a lot of varieties of Small outlets from south indian to chinese. North indian chats are available. No North indian Main course food available. One ID restaurant and Junior Kuppannaa Restaurant is there. Junior kuppannaa has only non-veg foods, no veg except idly and uthappam. Chats' prices are on the Upper side. Forgot the outlet name which is providing mini sambar idly and podi idly at a reasonable price(70 Rs) per plate.

The urban park has become one of our favorite places in the city. What a brilliant idea to use the space beneath the flyover, it has been designed and executed really well. It has attracted a lot of quality food establishments and currently looks spectacular as a place to spend an evening.

Well maintained place for a park. Too commercialized and too crowded all the time. The playground and walk around area is good for small family and kids. All shops are overpriced

A small occupied park with intangible size. 4 wheeler parking has become a challenge. Quick spot to meet friends.

Has multiple restaurants And car parking. Paid I guess, though we dint pay as we went around 11.30 on a sunday and no one asked us. Junior kuppanna was open. We left around 12.30. We were able to see some people walking on the walk way just behind Ju.Kupan. Use caution while entering and exiting the park space, as I had, on most times witnessed people driving very fast around the corners.

Well planned spot to bring family in the evenings. Let me share my experience, it was a pleasant evening and i had my friend with me there... All of a sudden it rained like anything with heavy wind....everyone around started sticking to walls like goats in rain, lol... And there was no proper connectivity to nearby locations and we got struck there.... Plan well....come in your own vehicle, preferably car. Happy time✨
