On first ofJune, during my stay someone who was one of the staff entered to my room (private room) without my authorization. Someone threw away some valuable personal items (SD cards and some USB with all the photos and videos of my trips recorded with my GoPro) thinking they were rubbish. When I realized (in the afternoon) I immediately went to the reception to tell the situation and surprisingly they were not willing to help me in fact I had to check all the bins in the hostel and even check the rubbish on the street. Unfortunately I could not find anything. The next day in the morning a woman at the reception gave me an email in which I had to attach the items that were thrown away to get a refund. Having no answer in more than a day, few minutes before I left the hostel I asked to another woman at the reception the number of the hostel manager to which she flatly refused she was really rude the woman told me that I have no proof of the items that were thrown away. Finally no one was responsible for anything. In summary, if there is damage, theft or loss of the personal items of any guest, the hostel will not answer for anything, however, if any guest breaks or loses any object of the hostel, the guest must take charge and pay.

If you have money keep it on your body. All my cash was stolen over night in a locked locker. I though did i leave unlocked, but it is very difficult to do as key can't come out so easy. Over 1.000000.00 stollen. I dont know who did this. But I have suspicion it was another traveler who left very early. Be warned.

I booked a private room/bathroom for 1 month here but unfortunately after my first night I started seeing tiny clusters of red bumps on my arm and chest. They were bedbug bites 😞 (which the marks, I still have months after). When I looked more closely at the room, under the mattress, and bed frame, you could tell the bed wasn’t cleaned from behind the headboard or underneath that well. The mattress itself was not kept well with staines and dark marks. The staff were friendly, I will say, and the location was great, but this definitely ruined my vacation when it had only started.

This is a very nice Hostel 🤩 Clean, comfortable, comfy lobby with a small bar. 🍺Tour and transportation available. Good Wi-Fi. Rooftop terrace. I had a suite! No view🫣 but it had a window.

First the positive - Renovated clean room In the heart of most happening place. Whole lot of negatives - Booked through AirBnB, by name thinking that the hotel has breakfast, no it hasn't. There is absolutely no sound proofing. The room is adjacent to the busy road, practically 24 hours and it is like sleeping on the street. No hot water for bath because they only have solar heater and it was cloudy so water didn't get heated. Napkin size bath towel. Other than a hand wash there is no shampoo, soap, body wash in toilet. There is an electric kettle but the jar which is supposed to have tea bags and coffee powder had used/empty sachets.

A really comfortable and central hostel. Not too sociable but a good night sleep. Only drawback was bad hostel etiquette from the staff. I asked what the local bus company was called and the employee lied and said he didn’t know. We had to pay him a considerable commission to book a bus. Every other hostel does this for free. It takes 30 seconds to call futa bus and book.

I would not recommend staying here. Although the location is very good, this is the only adventage. They don't have any tours to provide (except for the Mekong Delta which I heard is not interesting) and can't help you with booking bus tickets, although it says so on a board that hangs in the café. There was a cockroach in the bathroom and the drain was smelly, which we could not air out because there was no window in our room.

Good location on Le Lai road. New hostel equipped with new facilities, room is clean, WiFi is fast, cheaper than other hostels in downtown Saigon. No hot or cold water available. I don't have to refill my water bottle, but I do need hot water for tea, coffee and instant noodle. One girl boiled some hot water, another girl was not happy. She said that their hostel is cheap enough and I should go to another hotel which provides hot water. Staff service are really not up to standard.

Great for those looking for a low cost overnight hostel for a few days stay. Rooms have rules and the location is convenient to many places of interest in the city. Staff are friendly and very accommodating to my requests - I was able to use their fridge because I purchased frozen goods. They have a cafe front lobby so it gives a view while waiting or if you just need to chill out outside your room.

Location is good. You can walk to several places. Rooms are great based on the price including the service. We are happy with the hotel.

I saw lots of bad reviews for this hostel but reality is very different. Rooms were clean and beds were very really comfortable. Location is just amazing you can go anywhere its basically middle part of that area. Staffs were kind and friendly. Best place to stay around that area would definitely recommend this place. Worth for money.

The location is excellent. Room was medium in size with all necessary amenities. But there was no window... about which I was informed before. The room was clean The girl at reception was very helpful.. booked us a cab from her phone for visiting Independence Palace. This was the best property I found within my budget at that location in Saigon. If you are taking bus to Phnom Phen or Dalat you have to just cross the road and will find bus company offices.

this is a basic hostel.. and thats all to it. a bed and a washroom, thats all. no basic amenities like kettle, water dispenser, microwave or a fridge. But only plus point- great location. Also i booked for an all female hostel to my horror theres a guy checked in into the same room and stayed a night, reverted the issue to the front desk not much help from them other than “ let me check, let me check” and they seemed to take the issue very lightly and went on saying “oh he arrived late night” ok theres no correlation but sure (its no big deal to some, yes sure) Horrible experience. Prepare to bring additional pillow as the pillow given is very thin

Stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of February - private double economy room Great place to meet other travelers. All the staff were always friendly and so helpful. Helped us get bus tickets to Da Lat. Great common cafe/seating area on the street level - perfect for the HOT afternoons. Lots of places to charge your electronics. Good location - close to places to eat in District 1, but not super noisy. Nice park across the street. Bathroom/room - clean. Nice to have a mini fridge and a safe in the room. Bed was comfy but VERY squeaky - just rolling over made a loud noise. Only issue is if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke - although no smoking is allowed in the rooms, it drifts in from the hallways. Would recommend people to stay here. Good value for money.

Great location! The rooms were a bit smelly, but the privacy curtains were great. There was one shared bathroom/shower room for everyone in the hostel. It was a bit grim and there are definitely mold problems in there. I would definitely urge the hostel to renovate and improve the bathroom as it was horrendous. There was also no soap... only shower gel to wash one's hands and no hand towels/air dryer. A night or two is fine for this stay, but anything longer I would not recommend.

Apa boleh ada tempat nginep sebagus dan selengkap ini?? All is well organized and sophisticated. Near by historical site, you can reach all the places of entertainment by foot. Moreover, this hostel also provide chuchi tunnel tour with the cheapest price, it is the best things! For next I will be right here again with my future husband hehe. Thank you for your great services 🙏🏻

Decent hostel, the staff were very friendly. However cleanliness levels were poor. We stayed for 3 nights and we’re disappointed with the facilities. The bathrooms were gross and clearly weren’t being cleaned on a daily basis. There is dirt and mould in the shower cubicles, as though they haven’t had a good clean for a while. There also was hair all over the showers at all times which I can accept as people would be showering all through the day. The beds themselves were very comfortable and clean however the areas to the sides of the beds were dirty with crumbs, hairs and god knows what else. This was the case for both mine and my partners beds. It’s clear that nobody cleans the sides where you would put your phone, drink etc. As a hostel I don’t expect much but basic cleaning would be nice. It’s a shame as otherwise it would be a great place!

Lovely hostel in the center of HCMC. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is located in a place that is easy to get to the landmarks. Highly recommend the hostel and I will stay here again the next time I visit.

Is Budget Guest is the same standard for Singaporean or Malaysian when comes to hygiene concerns with almost 24 hours Air Conditioner in each rooms. The towels and shower liquids is provided not to mention multiple share restroom. The Lifts is up to level 6 and also open air roof top. Night Entertainment Street is just working distance and plenty more similar to patpong, kaison road and it is real happening. You name it and you got it at the end of the day.

+ Really clean and modern rooms. Very comfortable bed especially for vietnam. Helpful staff. - Rooms right at a busy street and not soundproof (for light sleepers not comfortable). Laundry was cheap but not good

One of the best places I stayed while I was in HCMC. The location is great and things look new and nice. One thing here is the shower is not hot, so that should be fixed. Other than that, the value is fantastic and the staffs are well trained.

I stayed there for 2 nights, clean room, helpful staff, nice rooftop and great pressure under the shower (its quite important 😂) Hostel provides shower gel and shampoo, they let me store luggage for whole day after check out and take shower before going to sleeper bus (thank God)! Highly recommend- location is great and price is really low! Best Banh Mi in town is just 4 min by walk 😃

First of all great location and friendly and helpfull staff. Clean and comfortable dorm beds. Nevertheless we stayed here 2 nights and the shared bathroom on first floor, toilets were all out of order, so we had to go to floor 7, for toilet. Not very nice in de middle of the night all those stairs or waiting for elevator. Toilets were still not working 2 days after. Also wifi was terrible, hardly worked in the dorm room..

Amazing hostel!!!! Definitely recommend staying here :) Hostel was in a great location- walking distance to main area but far enough away that loud music was not interrupting quality sleep. The staff here were extremely accommodating and welcoming. Rooms were clean and cool :) beds were private. Rooftop area was a great space to meet other travelers and have a nice view of the city. Would give more stars if I could!

For the price, great. Big room with huge windows looking over the park. Yes that makes it a bit noisy but it’s Saigon! Im a super light sleeper and it didn’t bother me. Lovely helpful staff. Michelle is fantastic!
