Summary: Highly recommended! I will be back again for sure. Ordered local brunch, taste and presentation overall is outstanding! However, as for the Bánh Mì Chảo Thịt Nguội , I get more satisfaction from Bò Né Thanh Tuyền. Drinks: Excellent. Tiramisu coffee is a must if you love tiramisu like me! Was told there is an updated dessert menu, and they come from Palais Des Doucers. We ordered 2 of them. They were okay, but a little lacking in texture in my opinion. Update: Back for the 2nd time. Pastas were okay, not the best. Ordered 4 Tiramisu items in total (Coffee, Crepe Cake, Croffle, Cup) alr arranged them from best to last.

It was such a great place for coffee / working. Reasonable price and the staffs were friendly. We were here after lunch time and loved the atmosphere. The interior design, high ceiling and garden vibes were awesome. Definitely come back next time.

Such a gorgeous, feel good vibes and spacious cafe. We so enjoyed everything and came back twice in a trip. Interiors are bright, high ceilings, full of greenery and even has a small garden seating area. Coffee menu is extensive and food is of great quality. They also have great pastries and cakes. Allow lots of time to wait and savour the coffees. We love everything we tried. Prices are reasonable too. Service is top notch, staff are polite, English speaking (or they try hard here ) and the baristas are passionate. Love love love and highly recommend if you want a chill brunch place.

Highly recommend! We couldn’t find the breakfast place that the hotel recommended and then we just came across this place. Decoration and service are nice but the food and drinks are even more impressive! The panda coconut coffee is well presented and delicious ! The pasta looks even better than the menu! The smoothie plate got the best ingredients. I will come back for sure!

Great coffee shop with a lot of choices. You can order food here as well. Quite expensive for an ordinary Vietnamese but worth a try. Their pastries and cakes are very delicious. A lot of people using the space for work as well.

Probably the best cafe food I've had in Vietnam!! The deconstructed banh mi breakfast was absolutely oily and delicious - think of a sausage and egg breakfast but so much better. The stir fried pho with beef was incredibly flavourful and left me stuffed. Coffee was excellent too. 10/10.

A good designated layout and decoration here to enjoy your coffee or other drinks with friends or families on weekends or holidays. You can spend your time, relaxing yourself here by sipping the tasty coffees or other beverages. Young guys love to hangout here, chatting with friends all the time. It is more hot at night. Stop by and give it a try. Enjoy.

Located near the walking street, mostly full of table and crowded, so it's pretty noisy for those who find a quiet working place However, the drink and service here is absolutely 10/10 personally, friendly and lovely, the scenario is full of trees and even have outdoor seat. Payment after finish up at the table is quite different than other coffee places. Definitely comeback on the next time 🤩🤩

A very pretty, spacious, and modern-looking coffee house with a huge variety of options when it comes to food and drinks. The coffee quality is top-notched. We had breakfast: a smoothie bowl and waffles. All were very tasty but the portions were small for these prices. It’s a really great place to hang out if you don’t mind the noise. However they should improve their service - the wait staff seems to be scared and barely understand basic English (so just run away when don’t get the questions…). This shouldn't happen in such a pricey place particularly aimed at tourists.

Very nice, spacious and comfortable coffee shop with good service and quality coffee beans. The cappuccino is excellent. All the Vietnamese style coffees, however, are terribly sweet which completely destroys the good coffee taste. Prime downtown location with prices to match

I don’t know about the food at this place, but the coffee and dessert was delicious. A tad overpriced, but it tasted great. So it was worth it. The decor and atmosphere was very nice too, clean and comfortable. Lots of people around doing work at the tables.

As a frequent patron for running bean for work purpose, the quality of food has dropped especially for the same costly price. There are a variety of food and drinks but half of them taste weird, maybe it is suited for more Vietnamese taste (not too sure about that)? It is always full of people, regardless weekdays or weekends, very noisy and not really a nice place to stay too long. Appreciate that they had someone dressed up for the Halloween period, but don’t appreciate the choice of costume as not everyone is not afraid of the costume; we had a younger kid and this waiter still served us.. meal was the fastest and most unpleasant meal of all the times visited. Doubt this will be the place for meetings in the future unless there are improvements..

Oh…I love this place. Love the coffee / drinks selection. And the yogurts bowl. Do note this place is usually packed, however, if you are visiting during non peak hours, you should be able to get a table relatively easy. Highly recommend this place.

No complaints at all. As a traveller, enjoy the cooling aircond, staff is attentive, toilet is clean, food is above average, the price does match to the quality. All good but not a WOW WOW type 😊 that’s why 4 stars.

The food, drinks are okay however I love how the cafe suits those who wants to work/use laptop, there are also refilled cold water and the staffs are extremely nice

Nice spot for coffee and lunch. We got juices which are ok, although to say the truth, I would prefer juices that are made as we order instead of the ones made ahead of time and bottled. Although they are made within the day, juices will lose their nutritional value after 30 mins. The staff is friendly, the place is very crowded during lunch time.

We loved the waffles and came back our last morning in Vietnam again. Also tried the smoothie bowl, cappuccino is good, air von works, staff is friendly and speaks English. It’s just really pricy that’s why we take one star away :)

I love this place and the food. We don’t come here often because it is too noisy at any hour of the day. It is actually challenging to have a conversation among business partners. This dirty latte coffee is my new favourite.

Speaking of work, The Running Bean is the ideal spot for getting things done. With ample seating and comfortable workstations, I found myself able to focus and be productive throughout my visit. The staff was accommodating and made sure that I had everything I needed to be comfortable and productive. They were friendly and attentive to your need. Try their juice! It’s nice and refreshing.

I recently visited The running bean restaurant in District 1 and was impressed by the very polite, knowledgeable and attentive staff. They made my dining experience very enjoyable. All the food that I ordered was delicious and the price was suitable for the dishes. The restaurant is suitable for families, couples and friends. They serve different types of drinks such as coffee, juice and smoothies. The restaurant is very spacious with indoor and outdoor seats. However, the downside was the loud music which made it difficult to have a conversation. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food, friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere.

A really nice brunch spot with a big menu. The smoothie bowls have a great texture and taste. Their eggs florentine was cooked perfectly! I’d highly recommend.

Good place and excellent value for money. There was just the sausage which was not good (english breakfast) from point of view. I guess there are some adjustment to do. The rest of the food was great. Anyway I definitely recommend!

The coffee here are so so good!! My dad and I each had two glasses!! Service I rate them 10/10! Most of their Staffs speak good English and very caring when they saw my elderly father. Food wise it’s 9.5/10. The food here will suit us Malaysian and Singaporean palate very well. The beef and pork belly both are marinated well. This cafe is one place we will gladly return on our next trip!! Prices wise I find it average and worth it!!

Huge upscale coffee shop in D1. The coffee is quality and the smoothie bowls are tasty, so expect to pay a premium. Every time I’ve come it has been on a weekend and has been crowded so be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes before your order comes and at least 15 minutes to settle your bill on these busy days. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re in a hurry. The staff seem a bit unorganized. Also, there is no parking for motorbikes so you must park next door in a garage that costs 10k. Judging from the unappetizing appearance of the meals brought out to other patrons, I don’t think I’ll try any of their meals anytime soon. However, some of the pastries caught my eye. If you don’t like crowds probably best to come on a weekday.

Lovely cafe in the middle of the city. It has a great vibe, good service and fun menu, especially the drinks and dessert selections. The croffles are a fun mix of croissant and waffle - and pretty yummy!
