The service was ok, but the foods and drinks were below expectations. Extreme nitpicking here, but I still don't know why a purported Japanese restaurant would serve kimchi.

We stopped by after shopping at the nearby mall for tea & cake. At first we were sat a small table for 2 which was squished in between 2 other tables. It was quite smelly as well. There was this old building/old AC smell that we noticed in the entire café. After 10-15min we finally got to order. We had hot matcha latte, houjicha latte & hokkaido mille crepecake. Everything was good. The staff was alright but slow. The female waitress was nicer than the male one w glasses. He didn't really talk. Prices are on the higher side for Viet standards but still okay.

Tried Kinako warabi Mochi. It’s a dessert with soyabean powder. Tasted very good after adding the syrups provided. Lot of Japanese desert options are available. One must explore this place when in Ho Chi Minh City. The place is quiet, simple and nice with beautiful ambience.

Try the Matcha. It may be a different and not for everyone, but that's their prime product. The menu is very extensive, you can try out a lot of Japanese desserts and coffee options. Layout is very relaxing, you can definitely try reading a book there, sipping on cool coffee.

Amazingly wide range of food! If you're hankering for Japanese in HCM, this is a good place to go, more so if you are looking for a place for ice cream. Just had the bento sets. The outstanding for me was the veggie juice. Very refreshing! Would come back just for the juice. The staff are very friendly too, and speak English.

We are tourists we think this is on par with Japan's quality because we always travel to Japan. Prices are cheaper than in Japan so it was a very good deal for us. We totally enjoyed the meal and desserts. Service is also attentive. Thank you so much.

They may not be very authentic when compared with Japanese norms, but the food absolutely deserves the "contemporary" status. The ingredients are sourced carefully, and rather than reinventing the wheel they improve upon it. No clashing elements of or outlandish "theme" dish, the menu reminds you of Japan, and gives you occasional hints of its taste.

We had high expectations from the reviews but expectations were fell short after we visited. The branch was packed with people on ground level and the second floor was closed to customers. There was no aircon on the second level and it was very stuffy, so using the toilet which was located on the second floor made the experience uncomfortable. The restaurant had many staff but we had a little hard time trying to get their attention to order each time we needed (main food and desserts later), which made us quite puzzled. The seats were stained (or at least where we sat beside the stairs), food was salty, drinks were bland and desserts were overly sweet. We were quite shocked that the salmon fried rice was packed with small salmon bones, fortunately we did not feed it to our toddler (refer to original photo and zoomed in version for the bones sticking out of the rice). There were at least 15-20 small bones picked out of the entire dish, photo not included to save the eyes from disgust. Not sure if this branch deserves such a high rating, because it doesn’t seem to reflect the same as the experience; definitely first and last time here.

Hey hey you beautiful people, today we are going to a pretty expensive cafe on Le Loi street. I have a good time there but some stuffs do bother me. Location: easy to find, small parking lot. Interior: spacious, clean, relaxing. Food and drinks: drink: not bad, I recommend the matcha. Food: small portion and fried rice is a bit salty. Staff: friendly and helpful, have good understand of the food and drinks. Tldr: go here for date and relax, just don't go here for lunch if you are a hearty eater. Have a good one people.

Went with 3 other people. Everyone had a great time. Food was good. Even the picky eater amongst us enjoyed his picks thoroughly.

We came on 25 Dec for lunch. The tonkatsu Udon was delicious. Portions are just right for the bentos. Dessert was super yummy.

The menu offers a variety of delectable dishes, many of which deserve a top rating. I believe if you try 2-3 dishes here and are satisfied with their tastes, you’ll love the rest in the menu.

Decent Japanese restaurant that has several locations in Ho Chi Minh City. They have a good variety of dishes, including many bento box choices, sashimi, sushi, ramen, grilled seafood, and steak. But I find the quality of the sashimi and sushi to be below other big Japanese restaurant chains, sashimi and sushi not as fresh as many other restaurants. The drinks menu is extensive. Staff service always excellent. Clean environment.

Come with my bro for quick dinner. The food is very nice and the service is great. For me, a sweet tooth, I just want something sweet after a hard day of work. Ms. Hong Tham help me choose a great flavour of ice cream among variety choices. Thank you guys for a great service. Definitely come back.

I am sitting at another matcha cafe wishing I came back to this one instead! They have the best desserts and matcha menu... I'm a matcha fanatic and appreciate it when the quality of matcha is high and the chef knows how to prepare things properly. I love that they offer oat milk alternative. I've ordered the same thing twice that I've been here. The atmosphere is great, I've spent a lot of time here in peace.

It’s a Japanese restaurant. I ordered one combo C that has Salmon sashimi, Mentaiko oysters and dessert. I have also ordered one Matcha dessert. The total price is VND 366,000. It’s a little bit expensive but the meal tastes good.

I had a very good first time experience here! Introduced by a friend and we ordered the matcha parfait, which is really unique and delish! I came back many more times to try their mille crepes too and it wasn’t disappointing! Defo recommended!

Took refuge from the pouring rain at this dessert spot, after our dinner. What a nice minimalist cafe serving Japanese food & desserts. Servers spoke good English and were friendly. For our standards, the menu was affordable, and we enjoyed the genmaicha float plus a warabi mochi set. It’s more common to find matcha but not hojicha and genmaicha, so really appreciated the array of choices on offer. Can’t speak to the food as we didn’t order any mains, but this makes for a nice nightcap after a meal.

I came to Morico with my beloved women for dinner on Vietnamese Women’s Day. ⭐Location: Le Loi Street, near the intersection of Le Loi and Pasteur, difficult to find the restaurant because of construction site. ⭐️ Food and Beverage: good food, exciting desserts, juice/drinks. The sushi 🍣 and salad 🥗 were fresh, matcha ice-cream 🍧 was so extraordinarily good. ⭐️ Space: Modern Japanese style ⭐️ Price: 2.400.000 vnd/7 people Highly recomended.

Walked past this store and flipped through the menu, thought that they had such an interesting and wide menu, we decided to pop by. Got their desserts which looked incredible on the menu. As what others had mentioned, the staffs were all pretty much new, and was not knowledgeable about their menu and pricing. Had to wait quite a bit in between the orders as staffs were unsure what to do and had to ask the other staffs who were also clueless. 155k for 2 scoops of ice cream with waffle and 40k for warabi mochi with injeolmi. Waffle was dry and tasted like the yeast was over fermented, with the strong smell of yeast which was unpleasant. Mochi wasn’t good too, ice cream was the only thing that was acceptable. Wifi and powerpoints, smoking room, toilets available, a nice place to chill and work on your laptop.

I tried dessert and drink that was very good. Less sweet taste. Warabi mochi better than other places I have eaten before. The black sesame ice-cream also good. Decoration also very nice.

Large menu with really interesting options. All the food was great. The dessert menu is extensive and super original. They also have many innovative coffee and tea drinks. There are so things that are a must try - we came back multiple times during our stay in Ho Chi Minh!

Yummy green tea parfait. The green tea tiramisu is not that good. Nice cafe with free wifi. Huge range of food and dessert. The green tea kakigori is nice. Get a gelato by writing a google review too.

The food is nice. We really like the parfait and warabi mochi. We had the houjicha parfait and really enjoyed it, it was not too sweet and all the flavor combine well together. Would love to come again.

They are serving a lot of Japanese dessert and food. I'm ordering the best seller matcha kakigori and mille crepe. All tastes great, the matcha taste is quite strong. I came here alone and thought I can eat it all by myself. I play my phone for 10 minutes and my kakigori is already melt haha. Its better to order it if you came with friends or if you can eat super fast.

Great Japanese restaurant. The food that we orderd was excellent, the Sashimi was fresh and the Sushi was delicious. All dishes came with well designed plates. The price is very reasonable with a great value for money.

Went there for dessert and coffee, nice place with a chill atmosphere. Good options on the food menu even though we didn't try it. The drinks and dessert was really good.

Food is a bit pricey compared to other places but the fusion taste is worth trying. Desserts are awesome as ever, only the tiramisu isn’t that great. Staffs are limited but handy and helpful. The place has run for quite a while so you can spot some stains on sofas and stuffs hope this can be improved

Should be better with this price tag. The Unagi sushi was terrible. Salmon Teriyaki was fine.

Favorite restaurant, never disappointed when coming to Morico, this restaurant in Le Loi is the place I go to the most, there are many memories here. My favorite dish is Ice Houjicha Shiratama. And my friend always chooses Matcha parfait, this is also the shop's signature dish. Especially the Japanese food menu is very delicious. This restaurant does not feel expensive at all, price comes with value and experience.
