Fellow Westerners look no further when getting a hair cut in Saigon! This was the best haircut I ever had, and was quite the bargain. My hair is wavy, thick and long. The average hair cut costs about $120 for me in Washington DC, and I got my hair cut for $40. The staff is fluent in English and I never thought there was a language barrier. I have been getting my hair trimmed the same way for years. Takeshi Iwata within seconds knew how to cut my hair, exactly as I wanted it, with little direction. I loved the experience and wish Takeshi Iwata could be my stylist back home.

Mr. Iwata and his team at VAMP are super! I visited first time on short notice for a scalp massage and hairstyling, and I was very impressed I decided to come back the next day for a perm. My natural hair is VERY straight, and from my past experience, I would walk out of salons having my hair overly curled just to lose all of it within less than 2 months. However, this did not happen at VAMP. Mr. Iwata and his team gave great suggestions and respected my requests. As a result, I walked out of the salon with natural, wavy curls. It has been 3 months since my visit, and the curls in my hair are still perfect. I also did not have to go through the hassle of styling my hair every day, which is an excellent bonus. My only problem is that now I will not be able to go anywhere else asides VAMP.

Was here a few months ago while I was in Asia to get my hair bleached and dyed and the customer service was great! A quiet location with a nice view made the appointment very relaxing and my hair also came out amazing as well. Even though there was bleaching there was minimal damage and almost no hair loss.

Me and boyfriend came for a hair cut and colouring. As soon as i explained how I would my hair to be done, Mr. Iwata understood quickly. He is really a professional hair stylist. My first time hair cut in foreign country just give to Vamp. It's clean, quite, brightness and also has nice view to look. One thing to mention, Vamp is inside a building at 9F need to take the elevator.

Mr. Iwata was able to give me exactly the haircut I wanted, even though I didn't give him much instructions. My hair is naturally very curly and frizzy, which can be difficult for some hairstylists to handle, however Mr. Iwata didn't have any problem with it. I also really appreciated the fact that he explained me exactly what he was doing every step of way, and provided me with very good advice regarding hairstyle/haircut in accordance with my specific facial features. Really professional! The whole staff is actually very caring and professional, the scalp massage in particular was quite gentle and precise which was a very good surprise! (I went to many other hair salons before and they would always be too aggressive, even using their nails to massage my scalp which was very unpleasant). Finally, I was particularly receptive to the peaceful, quiet and relaxed atmosphere of this salon. As I will unfortunately be leaving Vietnam in the next few days, I will really miss coming to this salon.
