The museum located inside Alagappa University, Karaikudi. It portrays the photos and memoir of Thiru. Alagappa Chettiar, a philanthropist and the founder of Alagappa University. There is entry fee of Rs.10/- for adults and Rs.5/- for children. Well maintained museum.

The entrance fee for adults is 10 rupees, and for children, it's 5 rupees. This place is a must-visit because it houses a collection of old photos featuring prominent figures like Gandhi Ji, Nehru Ji, and many others, Along with historical information about Alagappar, Kuruji, Mullai, Marutham, Neithal, and Palai lands.

It's a nice place to visit. Not like other museums, we can take photos in and around the museum. Maintainance is good. It's great to know the history of the Alagappa University founder and philanthropist Sri Alagappa Chettiar. The seed sowed by him became a giant tree with so many branches. I am happy to be an alumnus of this university as I did my M.Phil(CSE) here.

Vallal Azagappar Museum...! Gives us the insight on the contribution of his excellency Mr. Chetttiar in particular to the education, and his impact on the key government Organizations. You can find few notable pictures of Mr.Chettiar from pre and post independence with satlwarts of the era. Additionally the museum throws light on 5disciplines of tamil heritage, and few antique collections which is good, but requires some more attention, also the notable tamil era and its significance can be seen only in the native language Tamizh, it would be better if we have these info in English so that other common audience can understand the golden heritage of Tamizh....!
