The location is lovely. It is a beautiful property but needs more attention. The hospitality failed to impress. There was no welcome drink. The rooms are old and very ordinary. The lobbies were always messy during my stay. The restaurant was also just okay. The staff and management really need to pull up their socks.

The location and ambience is great and the staff very helpful. Just two things let it down. Firstly, the rooms are quite tired and dated and in serious need of updating. Secondly, and more significantly for us as we were half board, the food was the blandest we have tasted in a month of travelling around India. It had no taste or flavour. There were 4 of us in our group and we all thought the same. Food needs significant improvement.

Phone lines aren't working in premium rooms I have to visit reception multiple times for my queries. Indoor game room was occupied and no game room is provided.

Amazing resort for a getaway. Amazing location and stay. Rooms are spacious and also the view is amazing. There are many leisure activities like cricket football, playground, swimming pool. Amazing location to see sunset and sunrise . Only thing is swimming pool needs maintenance, tiles are broken so we need to he carefull. Other than that everything was amazing including service and food.

Just love the earthy experience at the resort. Overall had a very good experience. Especially love the canoeing around the property. Just love to see some improvements at the game room and the lightings at the rooms. Apart from that it's really a good place to unwind.

The resort is very scenic and the services are also very good. Our Deluxe rooms overlooked an adjoining area where a pump.and generator created quite some noise. The rooms are beginning to look deeply tired and out of their time. Require renovation. Naked electrical wires do not inspire confidence. Staff was excellent and the scenery there is wonderful. Food at the restaurant was very good and compliments to the chef.

Very poor place had to wait 1 hr for food, my kid cried whole time they don't care... Service is pathetic no one picks call.. Location is nice but this place will leave you frustrating....

A well maintained quite Resort. Best suited for family trip and spending time. They have got activities, sports, cycling, carroms, chess, badminton, volleyball and swimming pool. Complementary sunset boating is also arranged by the hotel. Food is a bit expensive but still quality is not being compromised. Have got a small lake and one can spend time silently in the lawn.

Just visited Lakesong resort. Liked the architecture and the ambience. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink. Manager explained the details about the property and its facilities. Rooms were well maintained and spacious enough to accommodate a single person and family of four. Boating facility was also available. Resturant and mini halls were also good.

The location and the resort was generally good for the price. The sunset boating that was included in the package was the best part. There was also the option of canoeing through the canals within the premises. The room was not spotless, but clean enough. The only thing i was not at all happy with was the food. For 750+ tax the dinner buffet was not at all worth it. The taste was very average and the non veg options were very limited. Even the breakfast buffet was not good. Surprisingly it was the kerala items on the menu that were the worst. The North Indian and continental items were ok.

One of the best property in Kumarakam Great Ambiance, Very good Rooms. They follow responsible tourism goals. Food, staff everyone is really great... Great view of Vembanad Lake from the hotel. Very good pool area. Lots of photo points. I really liked and highly recommended this property

Location is too good with back waters just a walk away. Over all property is beautiful with vintage look. Double bed in the room is too small to accomodate family of four including 2 kids. Rooms are dark and small too. . Kitchen service is slow. So it's advised to go for buffet in place of ordering from room. Food is good in buffet.

Awesome spot for Resort at the backwaters. Large rooms, enough for 3-4 beds, fresh towels, bed sheets and amenities in room and bathroom. Clean and good service. Food was great and we used the hall in 1st floor for meeting.

Rooms are small and dark, especially ones on the lower floor. Windows dont bring in sufficient light. Rooms have an old feel. We also found some ants in our room for which we had to call the housekeeping staff to take care of it. The lighting at the hotel is too dim, it gives a gloomy feel in the evening and night. They need to improve the lighting. Food is good. Buffet had good options. The spa offers good, relaxing massage options at decent prices. The hotel provides a boat ride on the lake in the evening. The hotel campus is big and beautiful.

Had a wow experience. Really worth the money spent. Fabulous views and fantastic services.The location is Bang on the shore of Lake vemband. The swimming pool was also well maintained. We enjoyed every bit. Lots of complimentary services are also provided. Overall a must visit place.

The idea of designing this resort is great with beautiful caltural designs and classical architecture. The view is beautiful also. The air is full of humidity because of the hot weather and location near the Lake. Recommending this Resort in colder weather conditions.

We (5 families with small and big kids) stayed in Lakesong for a day. The resort was well maintained on the outside with really good service by the staff. Restaurant food was a bit pricey but quality was good. Cottage rooms were spacious but not that well maintained for a 4 star resort.

21-Jul-23: Great resort with a nice ambience. Landscaping is awesome. Reception area is grand. The traditional vanji (kerala boat) was an experience. Clean and decent rooms. Nothing great about them other than the architecture resembles the olden days and an open varandha facing the nature. Sometimes we can see geese roaming around. Food is nice. There is a swimming pool, ground to play cricket or football. Kids play area, game area and a small gym with some cardio machines. Due heavy watermoss accumulation there were no boat service available. Their room service is pathetic. Requested for water to room in the night and reminded in the morning also but ended up with no response. Had to remain thirsty entire night and had to walk to restaurant for some water.

Great location. Lakefront property on Vembanad lake. Rooms in retro style. The restaurant serves authentic Kerala food. Staff needs training - new people pist-Covid haven't got hang of the service industry yet

A PLEASE LOOK FOR OTHER OPTIONS. We stayed here in August 2023. The rooms are atrocious. Musty smell from the furniture. Bathrooms are cramped. The room service is terrible to say thw least. Front desk is responsive only when payments have to be made or reviews have to be given. The telephone did not work and they did not repair it even though we raised the complaint several times. The food on the other hand is average. It's definitely not a 4 star hotel at all. The jams that were served for breakfast were expired products. Please don't get fooled by 'canal view' rooms. It's a poorly maintained canal with green water. It's not a view in any way. Having said this, the backwater view is good. But, if you have other options please feel free to explore them. This is not a great stay.

Stay was great. Great ambience especially when it rains. Boat rides available. Activities like swimming, football, badminton, etc are available. Rooms are just average. Food is also just okay.

Rooms and bath area were very very small considering this hotel wsd claiming as 4* resort and their charges were moderately higher. During our stay we only found two charging points and one of them not working. Bathrooms were not clean properly.. Service was little bit fast but its execution was poor and dirty Very congested hotel interior, no lift for people. Only positive thing is their location garden and the canal view which were fabulous.

The hotel property and staff is very good. The scenic beauty from the property and the property is amazing. But services provided at that cost is not valueable. The room floors were also getting wet continously due to AC and it was very difficult to walk , even after mechanic was called there was no improvement.

We had a 2days here. We received warm welcome and comfy checkout. They have wonderful boat ride everyday, which was a excellent thing to do. We liked a lot that. Food was good. Polite and supportive staff. Thank you Lakesong resort for everything.

I was there with my wife in August of 2021 (Covid times) for a night, and the resort had only restarted a month back... The room, overall place were really great... We would have appreciated if there were some activities to do during the day... Although, we were told that's cause the covid restrictions are still not lifted completely... They have quite a lot parking spots... The food at the restaurant is quite good... We had lunch, dinner and breakfast there and apart from the dinner the other two meals were really good... Dinner was kinda meh... You can get any of these meals delivered to you in your room through room service... They accept international credit cards, which was relief for us... I am guessing with a few more activities and things to do this can be a really great weekend getaway...

One of the best resort I have visited till now. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. There is a direct path leading to the lake. The scenery was beautiful and it is relieving to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Special thanks to Mr. Akhil for accommodating all our requirements. Excellent hospitality.

Lakesong Resort was a pleasure to stay at, with its beautiful landscape, neat and tidy rooms. The staff were extremely courteous and the food was delicious. Recommend this resort for a good stay at Kumarakom.

I stayed last week at this wonderful Lakesong Resort Kumarakam. On the top their service was extremely kind and helpful with every wish. This is indeed a place you do not want to leave. The food was so delicious. It is a very nice place to relax and enjoy the beauty of kumarakam with your family. It is situated near a lake, it was more attractive. Rooms were spacious. The balcony at the lakesong offered a great view.Everything was neatly clean. We enjoyed an excelled dinner and swimming pool... The entire experience was really good. We stayed in this resort as a group on Christmas eve and the day after. Beautiful property, excellent lawn and great view of the lake. The buffet was lavishly spread and tasty as well. All their staff were polite and courteous. There were minor issues with the air conditioning/room service etc but overall a magnificent place to vist. Thank you Lake Song for your hospitality!

worst experience. very poor room service, not good quality of foods , very poor management. it has a standard of equal to 4 star rating but not following protocol of star rating. only poor quality local food available . availability of food is lower than a dhaba.

We had our Christmas family get together here. The place is nice for such family events. The property has huge ground with grass to play and all. Even though the rooms had issues, but it's not a big draw back.

This is a great resort, great view. Management needs to spend some time on maintenance this awesome property. There are 3 canals in the property but none cleaned. Same goes with the open area. Food is okay, not great, but not bad either, but pricier.

The location is good. However the view n quality of each room is definitely not worth the price they are charging.moreover service is not very good either. Food was not great. In short, place is decent but heavily overcharged. Will not recommend for 10-12k a night.

The property is very appealing and located in right at Vembanad lake, food is good and you get plenty of activities to do, pool was clean , it happened that my train got delayed by 3 hours and the hotel allowed me to continue in my room without paying anything extra for those few hours

Very nice resort. Full of greenery and there is a small boat which we can use for fun. Food in the restaurant were good. Free breakfast was splendid. There were bothe English breakfast and Indian breakfast. Activities like Cricket, badminton, etc can be available in the vast greenery ground/ area in the resort. Rooms were good and the cleanliness was good. Customer service of the employees were great. Swimming pool was good but still needs some maintaining as the small tiles are broken ( very small pieces, nothing which can hurt someone though). Overall the experience at the Lake Song Resort was amazing.

I had a lunch with family. Cutlery seems to be very old and need to be changed immediately. We won’t expect from a four star resort like this. The lake view from restaurant is awesome. Scenic place. Love to spend an evening here.

Had heard good about the resort from friends. Few off comments in the net. I have personally nothing to complaint. In fact had blast of a time. Good location, ambience behaviour, food. Used facilities of boating, swimming pool, fishing, lake side walk and relaxation. Problem was : plenty of distance from cabin to restaurant . Overall it's worth visiting this property in kumarakom.

We got a cottage. Great room service. Food also great. Location also great. There is a children's pool. There is a small stream flowing in front of the cottages.There are tiny fishes there. Great view and plenty of space to walk. Great place.

Excellent location for a weekend stay, Very spacious resort and has access to Backwaters. Evening sunset is a beautiful view. Restaurant, fishing, Mini boating, Swimming pool for Kids, Adults and play area is available inside the premises. Car, Van parking is available and safe as CCTV and security is available round the clock. Rooms, Reception waiting area and corridors could have been maintained still more better, It is not clean in all locations. Menu in restaurant is all eatable, Pricing for buffet, Lunch and dinner was medium. Cleanliness and availability of Spoons and forks must be improved.

Visited twice once in a group and then as a family. A good measure of The road till the property is in bad state. It would be better to drive a SUV to the place. The property is large, with big gardens, situated on the vembanad lake. There are small streams / canals through the property in which you could row a small dinghy / boat. Plenty of activities available including a complementary ride on a boat in the lake. The restaurant is at a distance from the rooms and one needs to walk all the way (Not a great thing if it is raining). A well kept swimming pool and games room is also present. The staff are quite pleasant.

Scenic property, well laid out and maintained, amidst lush greenery. You get to walk along a landscape reminding of traditional Kerala, along (apparently artificial) irrigation canals, land, and a great garden. There is a canoe and of you are brave enough, paddle through the closed-loop canal. The swimming pool to is great and well maintained. The restaurant too was great with excellent view. Ideally, stay busy doing nothing. Take a body for 2-3 hours with an ultra zoom lens and shoot the birds and scenery. Or just watch the unending waters.
