I
recently
had
an
unfortunate
experience
at
Trends
Clothing
Store
in
Mavelikkara.
While
the
salesmen
were
polite
and
friendly,
the
store's
inflexible
principles
and
policies
left
me
greatly
disappointed.
My
purpose
for
visiting
the
store
was
to
purchase
clothes
for
myself
and
a
kurti
for
my
nephew's
wife,
who
was
visiting
us
that
day.
The
total
bill
amounted
to
around
6000
rupees.
However,
I
encountered
technical
difficulties
while
attempting
to
make
the
payment
through
Google
Pay.
The
cashier
suggested
splitting
the
payment
into
three
parts,
and
I
successfully
sent
2000
rupees,
which
they
received
in
their
bank
account.
Unfortunately,
due
to
another
technical
issue,
I
was
unable
to
complete
the
remaining
payment.
In
a
time-sensitive
situation,
I
kindly
requested
the
salesmen
and
cashier
if
I
could
take
the
kurti
I
had
purchased
for
1500
rupees
and
return
later
to
settle
the
balance.
Despite
their
cordial
demeanor,
the
store's
strict
policy
prevented
them
from
accommodating
my
request,
even
though
I
had
already
paid
2000
rupees,
leaving
an
extra
500
rupees
in
their
account.
Feeling
frustrated
with
the
situation,
I
spoke
with
the
store's
manager
hoping
for
a
more
flexible
solution.
Regrettably,
the
manager's
hands
were
tied
by
the
store's
inflexible
policies,
adding
to
my
disappointment.
It
became
evident
that
the
issue
lay
with
the
store's
principles
and
not
the
salesmen
or
manager.
Reluctantly,
I
left
the
store
without
the
kurti
and
later
returned
to
pay
the
remaining
4000
rupees.
However,
my
nephew
and
his
wife
had
already
left,
rendering
the
kurti
unnecessary.
Despite
my
request
to
cancel
the
item
and
receive
a
refund,
the
store
adhered
to
their
policy
of
no
refunds
once
payment
had
been
made.
Therefore,
I
finally
did
not
take
the
kurti
even
though
I
paid
for
it,
since
it
was
useless
to
me
now
and
I
was
frustrated.
My
overall
experience
with
Trends
Clothing
Store
was
disappointing,
primarily
due
to
their
inflexible
principles.
I
hold
no
ill
feelings
towards
the
salesmen
or
manager,
as
they
were
merely
following
the
store's
guidelines.
However,
the
lack
of
flexibility
and
customer-centricity
in
their
approach
left
me
dissatisfied.
Considering
these
circumstances,
I
find
it
difficult
to
recommend
Trends
Clothing
Store.
Their
stringent
policies
and
unwillingness
to
accommodate
reasonable
requests
led
to
a
disappointing
shopping
experience.
I
hope
the
store
reconsiders
its
principles
to
provide
a
more
customer-friendly
approach
in
the
future.
