Awesome place Specifically at Rainy season. Careful while walk, slippery rocky terrain. Caution!! elephant presence nearby forest Is common.Electric fencing provided. Car and bike can reach close to falls, just few steps walk. Unexpected rise of water may experience, so be cautious and cross immediately and find safe location.

Beautiful place to enjoy the refreshing waterfalls. It's safe to bath when the water level is low. Avoid the destination when the heavy rain fall occurs. The rocks are too slippy so when you go there take care of your loved ones. Don't take too much adventure. A simple fall down can cause injury. Do not enter to the forest area. The movie sikkari shambu was filmed here. Totally worth to visit for beautiful photographs and a refreshing shower. There is no shops around so when you go there keep a bottle of water. Parking will not be a problem. Mobile networks are low.

Peaceful location. Beware, if u are into water, at some point it's too deep. Go with some people who are good swimmers in case of emergency otherwise step out of water. sit back n enjoy the view. But the route to the location is a little bit messy.

Strongly Sujjested ONLY During rainy season No entry restrictions in the waterfalls except check post restriction in the bhoothathankettu . One of best forest travelling vibe assured in this route. Try to add idamalayar dam view points which is few km distance from this point in your trips Only one small bujji shop available near the waterfall, Small village type Hotels are few km away from waterfalls , so keep food in hand before going to this waterfall. Waterfall is slippery in some points, but having lot of safe points for kids n adults. Abundant Parking space available. Can reach in 4 wheelers easly..

Less explored destination.. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful.. You can drive very close to the fall and walk a few steps to reach the nature's beauty. Just 15mins away from Bhoothathankettu new dam. Family friendly location..Safe to bath.. Must visit..

This is a small and beautiful waterfall in the Edamalayar forests. This place is best for a bath. There was not much water to be afraid of getting drowned.

This is good as well as a small waterfall which is truly underexplored. We can spend a few enjoyable hours with our family. There are mountains and eco points for the sightseeing

Just a waterfall for the sake of saying its a waterfall. Nice place to hangout with friends. Not recommended on sunny and rainy times. The rocks are slippery so be careful while walking around.

A relatively safe and beautiful waterfalls to go with family and kids. It is not that steep and the water level is not that deep either. This place seems under explored yet. Though the water level is not steep and deep, some places are very slippery. Any misadventures could prove very costly. There is only one local shop nearby where you can buy dresses and towels for bathing. Light refreshments are also available. Parking space is there. Regardless of all this, any visit during the afternoon hours could be a tedious and tiring experience. Best to visit during early morning hours or evening hours. There are no entry / time restrictions and entry is free.

I have been to Vadattupara couple of times - first during monsoon and other during April 2023. During monsoon season, it was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it to everyone... This place is something everyone should visit. Awesome hideout.....!!! During Summer season, there was not even a single drop of water in the same place..it was really disappointing and disheartening as we travelled for couple of hours and didn't see water. We had to gone back to Bhootathankettu to play with water. Those who love to play in water, this is a perfect place for fun. Only challenge is that, your enjoyment can be done only during Monsoon season....

Beautiful landscape with shallow waterfalls. Good space for a quick site seeing and Kids can have bath in the stream under the guidance of elders. Visitors kindly do not litter the space with plastic wastes.

I loved it here.. not too crowded.. enough water to enjoy the falls... Safe too.. The road from Boothathamkett towards Vadattupara is through the forest and is very scenic... The road towards the waterfall from the main road is narrow and is just wide enough for a car.. also when walking from parking towards the fall, be careful as the rocks may be slippery..

Nice place. Good place to visit a half day tour. There is space to bath. But in some place there is deep. So you must know swimming. Also there is one echo point.

A nice place with scenic beauty and a waterfall. It's a must visit during monsoon. Mostly crowded on weekends so prefer week days if you need quiet ambience.
