I'd have to give this a 5. There was not a dish that I wasn't impressed with. The flavours, the presentation, the speed, and the fresh ingredients that balanced perfectly. The shrimp and the pork belly were my favourite dishes with the cheesecake as the winner of the desserts. The restaurant is quite tightly packed, so take that into account if you are looking for a romantic night or more just good food and fun atmosphere.

Well worth it. High quality food with unique flavours. The servers were all very friendly and down to earth. Dishes are quite small, but not too small and worth your money. Each dish was quite unique and often a combination of Asian and Mediterranean flavours. The variety is great as well, with options for everyone. Drink assortment is huge and the atmosphere is cozy. A great place to hang out for diner with friends and family.

Not too large restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and even better food. The staff was very friendly and helpful with choosing the small (sharing) dishes. The text on the beer glass says it all; Holy ***** that's delicious! And to close things off, they are one of the very few restaurants with actual good, fresh coffee! The espresso replacing my dessert tasted really good. Thank you!

One of my favourites in The Hague. We sat in the enclosed patio which had a really nice atmosphere. The food was tapas style, but we found some items not very 'shareable'. Unique flavours and nice presentation. Another update (December 9, 2024): still amazing! Update (Mar 3, 2024): still one of my favorites! I brought family here who were visiting from overseas and the consensus was 👍

I was very excited to finally be able to get a table but slightly disappointed by the experience. Overall the food is tasty, however portions are small and we found that most creamy dishes came with very little/without bread or something to eat it with, resulting in not being able to finish the dishes. Servers will ask you to pass on plates and dirty dishes ect. and interrupt conversation. I would suggest adding elements to creamy dishes and reviewing te floor plan for a better experience.

De hele vibe, sfeer, setting waren al geweldig. Het eten vonden we subliem. En dan maakte Senna er (samen met alle andere lieve en betrokken mensen) er een 10 met een griffel van 😊 Groetjes Sebastiaan en Marlot

Excellent place for good food, good service and good atmosphere

Very cosy but super busy and gets very very loud when the place is full. Great dinning concept!

Fijne avond gehad met originele gerechtjes die top waren bereid. Gezellig interieur met verschillende hoekjes om te zitten. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Fijn ook dat er een aparte allergenenkaart aanwezig is.

Dekxels is easily one of the best restaurants in the Hague! The food was absolutely amazing. Each dish we tried was outstanding and was unique in its own way. The service was very friendly and attentive. The staff very kindly explained all the dishes for us. All in all it was an amazing experience! It’s a must visit

My partner and I made a reservation the same night we were going and we have no problem booking a table. Warm welcome when we arrived and they let us choose where we wanted to sit. We went for the 3 course dinner + dessert menu. We choose 6 different options and share them all so we could try as much as possible different plates. I would recommend the cauliflower, tuna tartar and miso eggplant! Really nice and fancy decoration. I felt like it was a very nice environment for a date. They offered us to take a drink on the house because we waited a bit longer than expected to get served, I thought it was very sweet from them. The rest was great, good service, maybe not the best food I have ever eat for the price that we paid but for sure original and different. It felt nice to try new stuff. I loved that they give lollipops with the bill. Never seen that before, it was funny 😂.

My husband came here with his work colleagues a few months ago and sent me pictures and I knew I wanted to visit. We recently went and had an amazing experience. The food was incredible, so delicious, fresh and unique. The presentation is beautiful! The servers were so helpful in explaining each dish and in being aware of my diary allergy. They went above and beyond to make the dining experience one to remember. Highly recommend to everyone!

Wij hebben hier gereserveerd voor 20:30 en we dachten dit is aan de late kant maar het viel me nog erg mee. De sfeer was heel goed! Personeel legt goed uit wat de gerechten zijn. Goede wijntips. Het eten zelf was echt super

Incredible food and great service. Every dish felt special and was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were perfect for sharing. Every single dish is a recommendation, from the cauliflower, the excellent eel on brioche, to the lamb gyoza and the creamy and fresh prawn wonton. Would go again any day. A delight. Only negative if I want to find any - it was a bit drafty (it was freezing outside to be fair)

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience at Dekxels. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was fast and precise, perfectly meeting our expectations. Highly recommend for a great dining experience! Ohh and the aubergine was phenomenal!

Het is zelden voorgekomen dat ik mij zó welkom heb gevoeld in een restaurant. Wat mij betreft is dit de verdienste van Mees. Wat een rust, hartelijkheid en professionaliteit straalt hij uit. Dit weet hij op magistrale wijze over te brengen op zijn personeel. Het eten is kwalitatief uitstekend met verrrassende smaakcombinaties. Zowel bij het eten als bij de bediening staat aandacht voor detail voorop. ❤️

Restaurant is an Asian fusion with dishes that explode with flavour. I had the tuna tartare and the clams with scallops, both dishes taste as good as they look, kudos to the chef. Service was excellent. I was eating at the bar, and the waitress took good care of me from the minute I walked in till the moment I left. If you are planning to go for dinner I would definitely recommend booking a table, I went on a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was completely full.
