Today, I had an experience at Dollar Tree that broke my heart and shows the lack of respect some people have for different Ethnic groups. There was a Brazilian lady, in front of me making an exchange of 3 packs of pads. As many of you know, there is no longer tax on feminine hygiene products in Florida, so she would have initially not paid any taxes. The new items did have tax so there was a total of .28 cents due. At the time, the customer asks, why the balance, since she thought she was doing an even exchange. The cashier quickly calls the manager, Cassie, and she cashier explains the customers concern. Cassie, THE MANAGER, looks at the customer and says the balance is .28 because this is America and we have taxes here, so you need to pay it. THIS moment caught my attention, so I started seeing how it would unfold as the lady was in front of me. The customer remained calm, simply asking, I just don't understand why, I am sorry do you speak Spanish ? Cassie responds with " This is where you are going to hate me, but this is United States and we speak ENGLISH here, I don't need to speak in Spanish." The customer remained respectful, never raising her voice and says I can pay it, I just don't understand why I need too. At this point, I jump in and 1) EXPLAIN why and 2) Respectfully, tell off the IGNORANT manager who works at this store. THIS RACIST person, didn't have even the decency to attempt to explain to the customer. I am sure that she is so ignorant, she didn't know herself, BUT she had NO reason to treat a customer this way. When you call Dollar Tree customer service, the first thing it says, is For English press 1, For Spanish Press 2, but this racist woman, had the audacity to embarrass this lady in front of other customers and treat her badly over a situation that could have been handled gracefully by simply explaining to her that the original bought items were tax exempt. I will NEVER go back to this Dollar Tree as long as this racist individual is there.

I am an avid customer of this store, but this morning 03/19/2022, I had a very bad experience with the manager due to her rudeness, I arrived in a very good manner to return some light bulbs that did not work correctly, which I bought on 03/ 18/2022 at night, that they did not work well, and I asked who could help me, the store was empty with no customers, the manager treated me very badly, she told me that there was no refund and what was the problem with those light bulbs, why Did he return them?, but totally rude, that attitude surprised me a lot, even the cashier of the store was surprised to see the bad way the manager responded to me, the cashier who was the only one who attended me with a lot education. I never had that bad experience in that store, but the manager must change the way she serves customers, if she somehow doesn't like the job, she should look for another job.

Really do not know how this store gets a five star rating not unless they are putting their own reviews well anyway I went to the store to buy some items I saw an employee walking around with a face on her I said hi and she didn’t response except turned her face away then at the register she was throwing items in the bag when she finished she would bag the bags with the items inside on the counter with no smile on her like she dust get some the night before then she would just take the next customer’s item and add it to my bill she was told by several customers that’s hers not mine the person who had the face and no customer service on her her name is lissette she was more concerned to get the other worker off their lunch break is this how you treat your customers I been going to location since it opens and everyone says hello when you come in the door she was like really you customers go home the makeup she had on that was for witchcraft look gothic look thought you were to look nice at a job I will never go to this store again

This store is depressing to say the least...I can't believe they had 1 register open while there were 10-12 people in line. The employees just kept walking past the long line and they would not even attempt to help. I'm a manager at the family dollar up the street and I must say I was highly disappointed in the management and staff overall. I will say there was a lady named Tina who was phenomenal and the light skin cashier with the braids was outstanding to say the least.

These employees, are very rude! Horrible customer service experience. The manager even worse. I’ll never come back to this Dollar Tree.

This dollar tree is disgusting the selfs are dirty & the floor is filthy . The employees just walk around & see 5-9 people in the line , meanwhile it’s only one cashier open ! They sit at the counter on their phone talking to their families & friends! But everything else is good . The selfs are stocked up .

Manager, olive complexion and glasses is very aggressive rude, disrespectful to elderly and the public.

My names Claudia I am a lifelong loyal customer. Went in yesterday and shopped for some holiday items. When it was time to pay I asked the cashier if she could split my payments between to credit cards, $13 on one card and the remaining balance on another. She responded advising the system will do it on its own and confused I responded one of the cards is not a food stamp card and she just kept repeating the same thing rudely and annoyed. Then she started talking to her associate in Spanish frustrated. I asked her to not speak Spanish in front of me it is rude and she continued to do so anyways. Her associate who was more experienced then her came to her register and understand my request and split the card payments for me. The cashier remained rude the rest of the transaction and kept talking bad about me in Spanish to her associate at the other register and some Spanish customers behind me in line. When my receipt printed she did not hand it to me and when I asked for it she ripped it and slammed it in my hand. I was beyond disgusted with the service I received and I hope this female associate by the name of Thailyneshka is couched on how to treat customers moving forward.

It was all right but a bit out of stock and a bit disorganized

They finally get things half way in stock and this horrible older employee begins following my daughter and I around the store but wouldn’t assist moving carts of boxes out the way so we can shop. She was so awful we stormed out after saying stop following us around a DOLLAR TREE like really what’s wrong with these employees sheesh. This already one of the worse locations on EARTH

Employee at 💵 dollar tree is not helpful some of them are rule you some employees on there phone are on floor doing nothing and one cashier is on working that is not team work the line are very long and long waiting to be check out hopefully in future they will be more professional in the work place 👍

One of the WORST locations ever. Cassie is a horrible manager & needs to be fired. She’s rude & unprofessional. Please do not go to this store, the one further down the street is bigger inside & have the nicest employees!

I love the dollar tree, now it should be called The dollar up to five dollars , they need some stock help, to fill the shelves
