Heard that this was a good burger place. While I was visiting OKC thought I'd try them. Got there a little after 11 a.m. when they were supposed to be open. I and at least 4 other carloads of people went to the door (in the rain) and was told that they would not be opening for at least another 30 minutes. We all left the parking lot. If you don't care enough about your customers or reputation to open when you advertise that you are open, then your customers will be glad to go elsewhere. Others came up to the door as I was pulling away and are standing in the rain. Maybe their burgers are so good that they can afford to mistreat their customers... We'll never know.

Been meaning to try this place for a long while. It's a bit pricey and there's a bit of a wait to get your food, but it's worth it. The burgers are amazing. FYI: They accept cash only as payment.

Nic’s has a small venue and is cash only. The menu is simple with options. I had a cheeseburger basket with bacon and jalapeños. The burger was delicious and was amazing. I love fried onion burgers and Nic’s excels with them. The staff was friendly and attentive. They work through the orders quickly and is fun to watch.

Stopped in here while driving through Oklahoma on a road trip. Saw this place on the diners drive ins and dives list and thought it was worth checking out. Small and quaint exactly how it was described. There are only two options on this menu, a burger and a cheeseburger. I would have gotten more toppings like bacon or jalapeños but was never asked. All good. Burger was juicy and delicious as is. The fries left a lot to be desired. Not sure if the oil was old or what, but they had a burned taste even though they clearly were not. I’d stop by for a burger again, skip the fries.

Burgers or Cheeseburgers, and fries. I got a burger with mayo, ketchup, cheese and onions. The food was good, but nothing super special. The fries are skinny curly fries and bland at first but I added salt and the creole seasoning and they were very good! The staff was short a staff member so it was a one man show, and he did an incredible job with his assembly line style grilling. But, he didn't wear any plastic gloves and was hand touching lettuce, tomatoes, buns, etc and then touching the calculator to add up the food since it's cash only, and then taking the cash without washing his hands in between so... there's that. There are about 10 (maybe fewer), bar stools at the counter, 2 - 2 person tables, and like 4 or 5 stools to sit on. We got there 10minutes before 11am and they opened around 11:10am (again, they said someone didn't show who was supposed to be there, but after reading other reviews the opening late seems to be more than just once). You do want to get there early if you go because there were 2 people ahead of us, and another 5 behind us before 11am. By the time we left there was a line out the door and the place was jammed. CASH ONLY. $15 for a combo with fries, cheeseburger and a drink, so for a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids) we were in $70+ with tip for a burger. Fun to stay we've been there, it's a fun place to go to once or if you're a regular and grab something with 1 or 2 people, but not something we'd do as a family all the time.

You’ll have an easier time finding a cure for cancer, or finding Bigfoot, or finding a cure for Bigfoot’s cancer than you will finding a time when Nic’s Grill is actually open when they say they’ll be. I recommend going to one of the other 19 great burger restaurants in the city, that way you don’t inconvenience Nic’s. Wouldn’t want to burden them.

Really cool old school vibe. The burgers were very fresh and tasked delicious. We got everything on them and fries as well which were great. The service was also good.

Service was a bit on the backside. Soda machine down so only water or tea. My wife's burger was undercooked and after saying three or four times no mustard I still got mustard. Other than that pretty good burger shop.

Nic's is a small and charming place, reminiscent of old-time burger joints. It has limited seating, but the intimate setting adds to its nostalgic charm. The owners are friendly and create a warm atmosphere, making guests feel at home. The menu is focused on simple, no-fuss burgers made with quality ingredients. The patties are juicy and flavorful, and the toppings are fresh and well put together. Nic's is a casual spot where you can enjoy great burgers without any pretense. It's a perfect place for a quick and satisfying meal, either alone or with a few friends.

Favorite Burger joint in okc. Do they always open on time? No. Do they always have enough seating for their guests? No. That being said. Its the only burger joint I willingly show up to 20 minutes before they open so I will be sure to get one of the first burgers off the grill. Very delicious. You can't go wrong eating here.

I went on Thursday and Friday the 24th of June at 12:30pm. They were closed on both days. Clearly they don’t care about their customers enough to open on time. I’d understand 10 minutes late, but 1hour????

CASH ONLY. Figure roughly $20 per person. Burgers are absolutely massive and served to you within thirty seconds of coming off the grill.

Very small place with a very small menu (it's just burgers), but yum nonetheless. It's definitely one of the best burger places in the area. There's a couple of drawbacks, though: It's a very pricey place with $15 for a cheeseburger combo (burger, fries, drink). Cash only. There is an ATM at the gas station next door, though. Very very limited seating. Can be claustrophobic for some. It's a good place overall. I can tell there is a particular crowd here with loyal customers. I would come back in the future.

I've been going here for a decade. It was always exceptional when Nic was here. Since then, I've been three times with declining experience each time. Yesterday, my burger was raw in the middle, not a little undercooked, raw. Was told we would get fries in a minute. Never received any fries. Cook touched everything with bare hands, even after collecting dirty dishes. Never washed hands once. From the #2 burger joint in America to the bottom.

First impression as we walked in was “This is too small”. It’s very crowded inside and teeny tiny! We considered walking out. We stayed though and after a few minutes found 3 seats together. Make sure you stay! The burger is worth it! The best burger I think I have ever had. We do the best, most well known burger places all over and this one was amazing! We went Saturday around 11:30 and there wasn’t a wait but as we were leaving there was a line starting to form out the door. The service was as good as the burger! We will be going back for sure!

It's pretty much a little hole in the wall very small place can only fit about 15 people at the max but the service and the burgers were awesome and fresh only two or three options on the menu but they give you about three or four options for toppings that you can add

My first time here, a friend invited me to OKC for a visit. He recommended Nic's Grill. This was an amazing burger. Perfectly cooked and prepared. The staff and owner were friendly and professional. If you’re in OKC, treat yourself to Nic's!

Delicious burger. The fries are not my favorite. They lack seasoning. I would prefer to have just the burger and skip on the fries. Keep in mind that the hours posted say they open at 11… take that with a grain of say as they may open at 11:20 while they set up
