This restaurant-bar has been around for years and offers excellent food, drinks, and a unique atmosphere. The space is nicely decorated and pleasant in a neoclassical building with many separate spaces and a nice courtyard. Staff is friendly and helpful, and dishes and cocktails are exceptional. Tips: Definitely should try a zombie cocktail or three  ,20-25 per person

Something more than your average Latin themed restaurant. Food is carefully prepared, its ingredients are always fresh and their presentation only adds to the overall great experience. Their backyard is a true gem, reminiscent of the small traditional yards in Latin America. Staff is polite, friendly and ready to recommend what suits each customer's needs best. Pet friendly.

It took more than 45 minutes to be served our first dish (not counting the nachos), and even the margaritas pitcher arrived quite late, considering that they didn't have to make different cocktails. The food was very tasty, to be honest, and the atmosphere of the place is very cozy. Overall, I found it a bit pricy, too.

Food was deliciuos and we didn't had to wait too long. Compared too Greek restaurants Habanera is a bit more expensive. You have to pay for water, Cocktails 8,- €, Main dishes 11-15 €. Salat from 7 to 9 €. You get very much, so don't order too much. We wasn't able to finish everything and couldn't try dessert. They didn't have every meal actually. The meal I choosed first (caribean speciality with plum, sweetpotato and cooked pork was not available. I took Tacoshels, rhey was very good! And we can highly recommand the fresh salsa! Card reader did not work and rooms smelled too smoky for us, room next to us was for smokers. toillets are good and clean and men and women are seperated.

The best Mexican place I've been. Very warm and cozy atmosphere. The dishes we've tried were spot on. Flavors are there! Finally recommend the sangria! One of the best I've drank. They are so easy to go down.

Bit on the expensive side, but everything I ate was very good and truly took me on a ride! My only perplexed note is that the salad was small, but the portions huge. I had too little of the salad, and i was left wanting more, but in the end, I didn't finish half my plate. A little bummed out their homemade lemonade had ran out.

Tasty food, big portions, friendly and accommodating staff, cozy environment. Plenty of choices if you're fasting/vegan. Would love to see more dishes and desserts from other carribbean/latin regions. Most definitely recommend.

Best place ever.... Polite staff, excellent food, super tasty cocktails and great music!

Hadn't been here before but the place had good references from people I trust. Gave it a try for a quick bite on our way to the airport and was glad we did. The food tasted great, the service was exceptional, the place was not too busy... the music was not loud, the portions were large and not overpriced... they even served my favorite lager (Stella Artoise)... so what else to ask for. A very atmospheric Mexican hosted in a very nice building, with quick service, a broad cocktails menu that we didn't get the chance to try this time and an overall positive experience.

4 stars for the environment as we like the ambience in the old house with exotic garden very much. However, the new menu at the moment is rather disappointing as it’s more of South American style than Caribbean; Not sure if the owner is changed, as we have been here before the pandemic and the menu that time was more authentic with more varieties in meats, but now they have big menu for burritos, fajitas and tortillas etc. The prices are not cheap but big plates for sure. As to the flavour of foods, the cooking beef served with tomato sauce was tender and fresh, which is much better than the dipping sauce for nachos they gave us with bread together as appetiser (we were sorta worried at the beginning as we tasted more ketchup than fresh tomato in the dipping sauce); Moreover, there is really too much mayonnaise in the salad so it doesn’t give a refreshing taste. Therefore, for the food I’ll give 3 stars by far. We hope the menu will be updated to more Caribbean style with more meats afterwards.

The food was quite tasty but I find it a bit expensive for the quality they offer. I am tempted to remove another start for the complementary bread...whose brilliant idea was that...It breaks the Immersion and I haven't seen anyone in the nearby tables touching it.

Wonderful food and cocktails! Everything is made-to-order and tastes super. Meals for vegetarians, carnivores (😁), gluten free etc. Great service! They explained everything and made suggestions for all of us (including the kids).

Please, do check this place out if you like mexican/South American cuisine! They serve the best vegetarian burrito in town (rice is perfectly cooked, the dish overall is very well balanced). Also they do not stint on the alcohol in cocktails! I am so pleased with the quality. And I adore the beautiful pictures on the walls. The place feels very authentic as if you are actually dinning somewhere in Havana. Absolutely love love love the restaurant and recommend it to everyone who likes mexican food or good cocktails! ❤️❤️❤️

Top class food, service, and very reasonably priced. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They have other food on the menu which isn't Mexican, such as Chicken Jerky..I had it and its amazing! When the manager/owner realised it was my wife's birthday he organised a small cake and candle brought to the table and the staff sang happy birthday. Like I said, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. You have to try this place.

An institution at this point for the people out and about in the city. Try the well prepared dishes, stay for the expertly made Margaritas. Highly recommended.

Super nice choice if you would like to try non typical flavors in Thessaloniki! They have amazing cocktails and the cutest back yard!

Habanera is a really great place to have lunch or dinner. It has quality food and really nice sizes of dishes! We had the burrito con pollo and the jerk chicken. Unfortunately I couldn't take a picture of the jerk chicken, because it disappeared to quickly. But the burrito is a classic! You have to try it. It is sweet and hot. It's just perfect! We will come again! Secret tip take the homemade lemonade.

Oh my God! You have to try this place the food is Amazing!!! It is beautifully decorated and reasonably priced. If you like Carribean/Mexican cuisine Habanera is a must.

The food is super tasty and the portions very big! Ask for advice to the waiter to check if you are ordering too much food! It's always full so be sure to call and book a table. If you are vaccinated you can also stay inside!

Even though both the indoors as well as the outdoors space is exquisite, the amount of time needed to be served, both times I have been there, greatly affected the rest of the night since we waited for 15 minutes to even get the catalogues. Nevertheless the food was good enough and the prices reasonable as well.

Great vibes. The food is fresh. tasty flavours that sparkle in your mouth. Service is great. Cocktails are strong. Only thing missing is a dance floor!

Great food, unique and large portions. The service is always in a good mood that adds extra points and makes you feel welcome. You can enjoy it either with your better half or with friends. There is a back yard that keeps rather cool even in hot city days. Try the cocktails for sure.

Friendly and helpful people there. The food was also amazing and you get a lot for the little amount you pay! Also loved the unique Latin American (Cuban) inspired decor. It was our first time there, but definitely won’t be the last time! Will be coming here often on our Summer holidays❤️
